I feel the same way and do wish it could be that way.

I'm simlpy trying to add my updates as many of my new textures are not uncluded such as pitlane textures and a few more.

Most of my texture updates are included in v3.1 including lighting

I just want to complete the latest version as I have it.

To be honest, would prefer to delete my track and rather have one complete version.

What the guys have done to this track is just beautiful.

Here is my update for brno_circuit_reworked v4.0

For those of you who know the original AC conversion to where it is now will understand how much work has gone into this track, the difference is day and night, a completely different track.

Most recently this track (brno_circuit_reworked) was updated to version v4.0 all credits to everyone who made this track a masterpiece and thank you for that!

Here are my latest updates, hope you like them :)

Installation:

- Make sure that you delete any previous version of brno_circuit_reworked

- Install new track

- Select CF1_Brno in Content Manager to activate skins

Thanks for giving me heads up, didn't even know track was updated again.

Not online that often but have updated to version 4.1
Are you working with Mascot or against him.

Here's to @Peter Boese ...probably the most underrated contributor to AC...easily should get if not more love that ija gets...

I have decent enough hardware and I run a LG 48 inch oled 4k...I use B-spec Bob to check tracks and cars...

Because of Pure I can make with some fiddling and adjustment, just about every booty, low effort and half ass track look like real life...

Thank you sir for your efforts...

I hope Kunos has approached or working with you about EVO

Maybe it was discussed earlier, but I didn't find it.
Сan we set the time for different parts of the weekend?
For example, the practice should be set at 10:00, the qualification at 13:00, and the race at 15:00.

Anyone knows good group b rally cars mods? Most of the ones I’ve tried have bad interiors or physics.
There's none yet, not at the physics level at least. Well, the lancia delta S4 by rallylegend on RD is old and a bit obsolete but it's a well made mod st least

has someone here a updated ui_car.json with more text for the t78 bmw 635 csi?
Here is the text, I have put into that car (t78_635csi89_dtm). It is a combination of the english and the german wiki-site (translated). I hope this is, what you are looking for:

In 1982, the European Touring Car Championship transitioned to Group A regulations, prompting BMW to move from the 3.0 CSL to the 635 CSi. BMW Motorsport produced approximately 50 competition chassis between 1983 and 1985.

From 1981, the 635 CSi was successfully used in touring car races in Group 2 by teams and tuners, some of which were supported by the factory, or even by the Schnitzer Motorsport team[16], and from 1982 in Group A, driven by drivers such as Dieter Quester, Marc Surer, Hans-Joachim Stuck, Gerhard Berger, and Roberto Ravaglia.

Since BMW does not use its own factory vehicles, the racing vehicles are created in cooperation between BMW, parts suppliers, and the actual racing teams. The body for the racing 635 is specially welded at Karmann, and BMW supplies the chassis and brakes, the safety tank, and aerodynamic and equipment parts in a special parts kit. Since at the time only Alpina was able to carry out the necessary reprogramming of the engine electronics, all racing engines come from Alpina. The price for a body including parts kit was 120,000 DM in 1983, the engine cost another 35,000 DM.[17]

Although the coupé, which could reach speeds of up to 250 km/h and had just under 300 hp, lacked a little in terms of power compared to the 420 hp Jaguar XJ-S and the turbocharged Volvo 240 with 350 hp, its reliability, driver-friendliness and, not least, relative economy meant that it won the European Touring Car Championship three times by 1986, in 1981 with Helmut Kelleners,[18] in 1983 with Dieter Quester and in 1986 with Roberto Ravaglia.

In 1983, 1985 and 1986 the 635 CSi won the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, which was part of the European Touring Car Championship at the time. The coupé was successful in the 24-hour races at the Nürburgring in 1984 and 1985.

In 1984, the year the DTM was founded, Volker Strycek won the first championship in a Group A racing car; although he had not won a single race, he regularly scored points.

The 635 CSi racing coupé was used in the respective national touring car championships in Germany, Great Britain, France, Belgium, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, in the Alpine region and Great Britain in hill climbs and in France in rallycross races, but mostly as a single vehicle.[19] However, since the strength of the racing coupé lay in its reliability rather than its speed, it was not quite as successful there as in the German or European touring car championships or in the endurance races in which factory-supported teams competed with several vehicles.

All righty, I had this argument with you on RaceDepartment a few weeks ago and I guess I'm going to have it here as well.

Isn't this a texture update? Why is the entire track, as in every single file included in the official ShareMods link, included in this download? Is this supposed to be some sort of version update past the textures themselves? Did you change anything else? Nothing about what this download actually contains is clear from the description - and is even perhaps misleading.

Hate to break it to you, but if the Brno road mesh is indeed from RACE07 like I think it is, including the entire track in your download and posting it on RaceDepartment is very, very against TOS and could get your account in trouble. I'd change it up sharpish.

And I'll add my greater point from that previous unpleasant interaction as well - if you are creating a mod for a track or car, please only include the files that are directly relevant to the mod itself. Obviously, I'm wise to this now - but clicking in and looking at your folder, if I were to update my Brno using your file, I'd lose KevinK2's custom AI and my own tailored ui_track.json for absolutely no reason at all.

There is no reason a texture update should change anything about the UI, AI or anything of that nature whatsoever. I'm sorry.

I am appreciative of your texture updates, but the way you go about them is strange and counterintuitive. On Breathe's list, there are countless updates to the right of track descriptions that can be wiped if not careful - and in this example, a clean-sweep of all the files for this one update would do just that, unjustifiably.

And that's not to mention the strangely out of phase version updates. Why not just contact those working on the track themselves (many of which are active on this very forum) and submit your contributions? I just don't get it.

Perhaps an unpopular post, but I'll take my lumps for it.

EDIT: Apparently not so unpopular.

Hi there

Many of my textures and other stuff are already in the main file as per previous versions which makes it difficult to separate.

To be honest I can't even remember how much of my updates is in this track as it's changed so many time's.

I think everyone involved has done an amazing job, definitely one of my favourite tracks.

With any other track it's easy to create just an update but this track has used a lot of my updates and have only tried to add my latest texture updates such as pit lane textures, basically everything from previous versions.

I hope Kunos has approached or working with you about EVO
Thanks for your words and the anwser is No.
Actually i want to keep AC1 up to date graphics and weather wise. As long as it seems there is no free modding in AC EVO, AC1 will have a steady future with all its existing mods. There is still a big room for new features and improvements in Pure, so i have enough ideas and I will continuously deliver new things.

Wait... what?
The full track has been altered, rehosted and uploaded to Race Department less than two days after the official release? For an optional skin? Is this true? It makes no sense whatsoever and can only cause confusion and cast doubt about who performed all of the extensive updates.

Hey how difficult would it be to add TV camera 7 to this Caesar's Palace 1982 track?

I have never experimented with those extra cameras.

This version has the improved ai and Quark's improvements. But it only has replay cameras 1-6. I'd really like to have that TV camera 7. Adding it would probably be a piece of cake for someone who has done those?

I can give it a try.

wt*? Unless 3d work has beem done (which seems has not), there is NO reason to include .kn5

This can all be done via skin/config.

Even the blimps have been included!

@ClimaxF1 - There is NO EXCUSE FOR THIS!!

Was a honest mistake and no harm was intended.

I too have spent many hours on this track and good majority of my updates and settings are included in this track with my permission and didn't think it would be a issue.

What I don't like is been trolled by a certain individual.

This said person has tried to have my upload deleted which was overturned.

The same person has accused me of theft with my latest update which is untrue as all my updates are my own.

This review was aslo deleted and the person has been warned for spreading misinformation.

We all human and I honestly didn't think it was a issue as I too have spent a lot of time on this track.

RD is very strict with there guidelines and wouldn't have overturned everything if meant any harm.

I do apologize for the confusion and have corrected my upload.

I created a video that shows screenshots of all my F1 2005 and 2007 skins that have been designed for my 2005 and 2007 Seasons.

It was a gigantic work but it's pretty good now. All circuits have a combination of 2005 and 2007 sponsors. All are period correct. No DRS signs or ROLEX clocks anywhere.

Good morning, could anyone tell me (how to modify files in the "DATA" folder) to make the "reductions and changes" of the turbo engines in the F1 mods (similar to this video, among others).

In the Automobilista 2 simulator (it is very similar), but in Assetto Corsa (using the Lotus 98T by Kunos as a base), it is very different (also comparing it with the J. Dumfries / Australia 1986 video).Thank you in advance.

Prost / Hockenheim 1983

Dumfries / Adelaide 1986

Not going to lie, as someone who enjoys AC for the racing I'm very relieved to here this - from everything I hear about ACE it doesn't sound like it's a game for me (not so interested in choosing the type of stereo for my Hyundai hatchback).

So I'm very much committed to the things Ilja, yourself and others continue to work on, which keep making my '60s racing dreams come true. Thanks so much :)

It's okay to directly name me, there's no need to hide behind snarky hints and innuendo. I've got nothing to hide.
I (along with many other people) reported your upload on RD because editing our track without permission and reuploading it elsewhere (less than two days after release) was not only morally dubious and incredibly insulting to the team's hard work, it also directly violated RD's terms and conditions. You ignored previous requests to amend the upload yourself and to only upload your skin and config, and when you refused RD quite rightly did it for you. You had no choice in this, and I'm not sure how you claim this was subsequently 'overturned', that is pure fiction and plain for all to see... but, whatever.
Any 'apologies' and claims of innocence you now make hold no water whatsoever. It's obvious that you knew exactly what you were doing and this was even politely pointed out to you. You even claimed that just uploading a skin and config would be too difficult... yet you somehow managed to do it in record time after having the full edited track removed from RD. Funny how things suddenly become easy when hands are forced, isn't it?
My theory? You're still pissed that you think you did not receive enough glory for the old textures that we used with your permission in v2.0 back in August, even though you were the only person credited by name in the actual changelog notes. You were not (and never have been) an active member of the Brno update team, your old textures were used after the fact, with permission, and were not made specifically for v2.0. Yet you claimed that your textures that we used in 2.0 were the most important part of the update, despite v2.0 containing the following enhancements that you had nothing whatsoever to do with:
  • Start line position corrected; start lights/clock/lap counter/session timer added; new billboard models added; new sponsors added; animated jumbotrons added.
  • Camera-facing spectators and animated flag-waving spectators added.
  • Marshals, TV vans, recovery trucks, camera cranes and cameramen added.
  • Crowd and pitlane audio added.
  • Physical road mesh and groove added; sausage kerbs and green runoffs added.
  • Redundant treewalls removed; floating trees fixed; new trees planted.
  • CSP animated flags added to pit buildings and grandstands.
  • Animated helicopters, blimp, hot-air balloons, and distant airliners added.
  • Night lighting and basic RainFX added.
  • New AI line created; sections added; loading logo added.
You then demanded that unless you received more credit, the v2.0 track be deleted and all of your textures removed, despite previously giving permission and despite all of the work this would entail. You also claimed that the only reason we were working on the update was because of a track skin you'd made that we weren't even aware of at the time, when development discussion had actually started years prior in the Reboot discord.
So yeah. You did piss off a lot of the actual team members with your irrational behaviour back then (including uploading confusing updates on RD). It was totally disproportionate to your contribution, as welcome as it was, and which you were overtly thanked and credited for in the UI. That's why I've been trying to keep you at arm's length since then and why your recent actions are equally disappointing, but not altogether unexpected.

I wonder how ACE will turn out. I only care about racing, and they've said basically nothing about it. Can't say I'm particularly excited by the selection of vehicles either.

I honestly don't care and think that you should move on, I did along time ago.

Have kept screenshots of all conversations between us before and moderator of recent and would be happy to post them.

Stop trolling me and stop spreading misinformation.

As for not giving me credit with previous updates you kind enough to mention everybody else but not a single mention of me with upload other than in the ui. Yes it bothered me as all my updates were used. After our discussion only then did you include me in the update.
You failed to give me proper credits even though I gave you permission to use all my texture updates, including new one's, vegetation, new tree's and lighting settings with previous uploads. You still apologized and made corrections, any person would have been upset.

Accusing me of theft with my latest upload is a new low and this why all your demands and complaints were removed besides other things.

One thing about my track updates and nothing has changed in years and everyone does the same, if there's a new version then we update our upload, I don't have any issues with anyone except for you, tells a story. You can use my updates with my permission but I'm not allowed to update my upload. Works both ways, remember that!

I have never taken credit for any work done on this track other than my updates.

As with one of my previous posts I would be happy to delete my upload. There are many new textures included besides the one's I gave you permission including other settings. Something I did offer already as per one of our conversations. This way we would have one complete track and my banners could be a optional skin.

I think everyone who has worked on this track has done a amazing job and instead of going back and forth we should all appreciate the final result. This track looks stunning and appreciate eveyones contribution!

Wish you the best :)
