I started back in the "prehistoric" era... F1 board game (year 1972).

I still have it today. Originally it only had the Interlagos circuit and (6 F1 miniatures), but with my creativity, I created other circuits from the time (adding up to 24 cars and replacing the original 6-point roulette wheel with a "plate with 24 points").

in VR this is quite disturbing , as it's not a static chip as it looks on this pic , but rather it flickers (some kind of Z-fighting going on I guess)

How about some Group C 3.5L car ? Trans-Am from the 80s (like T10 bringing the Beretta, Cutlass or Regal to FM2023) ? A proper late 90s NASCAR ? No, better bring the same thing as RSS.

I quite liked the idea of this fix, but I noticed that the banner is still visible from the inside. Is there a fix for this as well? Sorry if I missed a previous post that addressed this.

As much as i want VRC to do other stuff than boring open wheel cars(in my humble opinion they are some of the most boring cars to drive) i'm guessing they do it cause it brings in money.

I'd love for them to finish off their super touring pack and give us an proper E36, S40, Primera's etc but maybe the monetary gain isn't enough to justify modeling them and making physics etc

Lately I don't understand why with the VRC "Touring Cars" I notice the FFB with my G29 too strong. I can't adjust it properly. This didn't happen with the first versions. I use the CSP version.
If I lower the force too much, the steering wheel has no resistance in turns.

YES!!! AC is in desperate need of such mods. You have some good mods of mentioned classes, but nowhere is it like a pack of great quality cars like RSS GT pack, GTM, GTN, VRC touring car/prototypes pack etc. I don't want to diss anyone, who am I to say anything, but the pack we have like group C pack from GTSupreme, or the Trans-Am from Bazza are all great grid fillers, none of which are the same quality as like kunos 787B for example, or let's say VRC Trans-Am Chevrette.

Oh it'd sell like hotcakes, I mean look at the reaction after Raceroom announced their STW pack. Lotsa enthusiastic people !

Yes, modern formula cars leave me completely flaccid. Even classic formula cars are a semi, at best.

I absolutely adore the touring cars that VRC put out. Personally, I'd really like to see mid-90s JGTC. Some pretty legendary cars there.

Okay the 2005/2007 leaderboard is finished and ready to share. I made a small update video of my 2005/2007 Season project at the same time.

Personally I think this leaderboard suits pretty good. There's still a bug (that was in the original 2022 Leaderboard that I used as a base) in driver comparison. It doesn't pick up the correct driver from the grid and shows the gap to wrong drive namer. I can easily fix that when I have more time.

I made quite a few changes. Driver surnames completely visible now, removed all wrong teamnames (as the 2005 and 2007 VRC grid is skin based with only 2 base cars) and I changed the colors to match the colors that were used in 2005 and 2007. The vertical leaderboard with 100% genuine display is possible to do but I think it would limit the visibility of the cockpit mode quite a bit. I might do that later but meanwhile you can enjoy this.I used all colors and Frutger font that was used in 2005 and 2007. Font is inside the leaderboard package.

Yes, more touring cars and japanese gts is what the people want! I'm glad people like fuzo and natsuki exist. Natsuki is working already on the z gt500 '24 spec

I had this game too. We moved from the house I grew up in in 1978 when I was 13 and I think I got this game somewhere around that time.
