Ladies, gentlemen,

You should not, for any reasons, skip this one :

PS : I promise, the next one will be the Fairlady's combo... might be. Soon.
It's mods like this that make me realize I will never take any of the newer driving sims seriously. Despite all of AC's flaws (ai, lack of yellows, etc.) and all the new shiny graphics in newer sims, nothing excites me as much as taking a mod like this out for a few laps on a track like Le Mans 67. Throw in some rain effects from Ilja and wonderful weather from @Peter Boese and it just doesn't get any better. I don't think there will ever be another sim that gives me all of these options, even EVO with what sounds like limited mod support. The amount of tracks\cars to choose from just won't ever be matched again, IMHO.

Phrased that better than I could so just a big +1.

If Ilja can figure out how to integrate halfway-decent AI behavior and fold (a working version of) Nuzzi's AI Pit Strategy app into CSP, I will never need another sim. I've deluded myself into hoping that's what he's working on (although from snooping around, I'd guess that it's likely the kerb behavior/global CSP Physics that he's finally going after in earnest).

There's just no sim like AC that nails the driving feeling - from the weight and effects of the FFB to the feeling of weight transfer in corners (still the best in sim racing IMO to this day). It's just sublime when everything's clicking.

And the amount of content is staggering - to me, it is quite literally a fully digital, interactive motorsports/automotive encyclopedia. I'm one of the crazies who decks out the UI files for each car and track with all the right information to the last detail, and copy/pastes whatever info is available from trusted sources on the web - so after driving around for a few hours, I can sit there and read about the car and track history/fun facts/details etc as I wind down.

No other racing simulator can replicate this - and it's why AC is indispensable. From recent reports, EVO will be a completely different end product - which is a shame, but gives life to AC for at least the next 5 years or more.

also, I have tried searching for it but can't find anything.. Does anyone know if there is a Camtool file for the 1992 Round 16 Adelaide track?

I think this is from the ASR season pack.. 👇

Spot on mate. For me as a classic F1 fan AC is pure perfection. If there's an issue (like you mentioned those lack of yellows, idiotic outlap cars, etc) it's still as good as it can get.

Sure I will get the EVO. Sure I will try the Open World. But I don't really, really care.

But honestly for me classic F1 has gotten to this point in 10 years. With amazingly good track packs, cars, etc. It's almost unlimited how much you can improve things. Only your imagination and of course your skills are the only limiting factor. AC is a virtual encyclopedia of historic stuff and the only platform where you can actually "relive" the racing eras.

We had a great discussion about this in the EVO area.

Sublime.
Not surprised to see Gadu credited under 'detailing, materials'. His cars are always a pleasure to sit in.

Amazing, as per usual!

Pulled the trigger too early with the couple of PROCAR skins I released so deleted the ressource, now waiting for JK to release the car :)

In the meantime I had more time to finish some others.

(1997 24 hours aren't realistic, meaning the base car was a race-prepped M3 E36 and not the 320i STW but who cares ? Livery is basically the same...)

For 80s and turbo enthusiasts I suggest the Ferrari F187 by ACR...unfortunately can't find so far a working link for download.
At that time I made some physics adjustment, add virtual mirror and lights, improve some texture.

The AI is good in lap time but too much out of track, if someone know how to fix it:)

Hello all,

When I watch the VRC 1997 cars from an external camera, I think their tyres are reflecting too much light, as you can see on the picture below.
Screenshot_vrc_1997_ferrari_f310b_silverstone_1998_20-11-124-19-40-58.jpg

But you can also see that not all the cars have this behaviour, since it looks like the original cars (Ferrari and Williams) are shining less).

I can’t find how to manage this.

Do you know which option I have to play with to decrease the tyres brightness.

For information, I use content manager and CSP

I already posted this in the decal search section, but did get no answer. Maybe better luck here.

yet another decal I am searching for

1699735153756.png

The car has a sticker on the left side of the Yokohama sticker on the side skirts.
Car is: IMSA GT Sebring 12H 1994, Mark Sandridge #49, GTU, chassis 6081
1699735277862.png

Does anybody know this brand?

Thanx in advance.
Daniel
found it? Before i go on one of those weird investigations lol

Edit : don't have the courage to go thru all the pics (22.000) but with patience you can pick the 1994 and the Porsche brand. the website is sketchy, be patient.

Photograph is Geoffrey Hewitt. Sadly the sticker's not to be seen in the stands or before the race, i believe it is from Barron industries or Bardon's construction. Barron' were pretty progressive on race issues, meaning i get all the results on how they manage equality for their workers, not much on their racing partnerships.

I alkready picked the year and Porsche brand.

Ffs is it a 911 or a 964? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1993-porsche-964-carrera-rsr/

It's a 911. It's a 964! It's both ! Jeeeez https://borderreivers.co/portfolio/porsche-964-3-8-rsr/

Should be easier to directly ask Gerald T. Johnson for his pics of the car.

I freaking know this brand, i've seen this logo when i was young.
