I’ve created a new pitlane.ai file for the layout 6.

You can download it here : https://www.mediafire.com/folder/90jb3l4zij0l2/bsas_h22

It only has to be used with the layout 6, not tested with others and should not work with them.

To make a pitlane.ai work, the fastlane path and the pitlane path need to cross along a minimal distance, or to be close to each other on a minimal distance, in order to give AI some time to make its choice between staying on the track or pitting-in.

With this layout, there was only 1 intersection point between the two lines, after a flat-out turn, so AI had no time to decide to pit-in.

Thanks. Does this now have this fixed or not? Or does it need major altering of the track?

This is the first track that I ever saw that doesn't enable ai pitting. All other 1998 tracks work flawlessly in that regard. It's really weird as technically I've modified my 1998 season cars so that it shouldn't be possible to complete the 20 lap Buenos Aires race without a pitstop, with the fuel load that they have. But they still do complete the race without issues. No fuel issues although they should be able only to do 15-16 laps. Weird, really weird.

Personally I don't feel like it's even like a real race without pitstops. They are essential part of real F1 so imho they should always be present in every F1 season. And 20 laps is pretty much the maximum I want to play... it takes about 45 mins with the qualifying. To me that's pretty much max. I want to have.

And yes, the ai lines weren't that great as you can see from my video. Thanks for fixing it. I will test.

Is there any chance to make the real 1990s F1 layout, by leading the ai through Senna S instead of Tobogan or isn't it possible?

It is already fixed in CSP development and will be working with the next CSP update. There is/was a bug in the render pipeline...
Peter, what causes shadows in the car to strobe even when driving in clear sun with no other shadows over the track?
It's almost like Pure is calculating a cloud shadow on/off.

I did not test it during a race, but during the qualifying session.
With the original pitlane.ai, AI cars do not pit during the qualifying, their fuel level decrease to 1 liter and stay like this until the end of the session.
With the new pitlane.ai, they pit after 4 -5 laps.

I agree with you regarding a race without pitstops. It's like something is missing.

try:

[MESH_ADJUSTMENT_0]
MESHES = AC_POBJECT 43, AC_POBJECT 44, AC_POBJECT 45, AC_POBJECT 46, AC_POBJECT 47
IS_RENDERABLE = 0
IS_ACTIVE = 0

be sure the names are correct, an underscore may have been missed when you posted
I've tested the lines separately.
It looks like IS_RENDERABLE=0 works fine, the cones are not visible.
But I'm not sure IS_ACTIVE=0 really works since the car is still able to hit and move the cone.

yes there is one but idk if it is from Forza or has a good AO map
I have now from the GT7 too but I don't know how to fix it and make it for assetto corsa and it has a wrong UVM
if someone know about GT7 car let me know
Personal conversion from PC2 and the AO is all kinds of effed up lol

Anyways.

Cyril Cherry's new 806 is a nice addition but as always with his cars there's one or two things not properly done... Like the actual decals on the rear window which he didn't do, or the name not on the right windows either... And a wrong shade of white. Nothing that can't be fixed (required some, uh, editing of his model though).

My fix : (still need to paint the other windows over)

anyone else has spotted this weird skydome issue of late?
The skydome is not rendered correct in both eyes...
when tilting my head to the left (VR only I presume ! - using Oculus render, CSP 0.2.3-preview1 and Pure Gamma 2.38)
in 1 eye the sky becomes plain blue , and the clouds are no longer rendered to some extent (above the horizon - from a certain height they are still rendered , just the clouds near the horizon are gone in 1 eye)
The further you tilt your head left the higher the clouds dissapear...

edit: this with Single Pass Stereo OFF ... when turning SPS on it's fixed !

(and I had SPS off because of the grass not being rendered correctly , but that seems fixed now! )

@Peter Boese : maybe still put that on a todo for people wanting to keep SPS off for some reason ? ;)
I'm running the same CSP/PURE version combo. Turning on SPS automatically disables the sunblinding shader. If you turn that off in Pure Config app, you can run without SPS and still enjoy the solution. Talking specifically about the versions we are using.

thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year

48 new or updated cars (including 6 new models never seen in AC before), only a few encrypted where it was the request/condition of the modeller. If you want to contribute or improve the cars, reach out.

There's a manual with installation instructions, credits (apologies if anyone's missed, DM and we can change it), a donate button and much more.

Please note the Alfa Romeo TZ2 will only work on CSP versions prior to v0.2.3 at the moment.

Highly recommended with Alguecool's magnificent DeTomaso and Piper mods and Pasta, Bazza & co's the Alfa T33/2 from Overtake.gg

Enjoy!
Thanks to everyone involved in bringing these amazing cars to life. Been having a blast driving them all weekend and every car feels and looks great.

Well done Mr Wafflle this is exactly what is needed on this, i done what i can adjusting the skin he supplied but it was annoying that the rear side windows arent even mapped plus some side windows are mapped directly underneath the rear glass in the AO plus other bits and boobies. Its never quite "there" is it.

I am never to sure either why he puts a BTCC plate on a car that never raced in the BTCC. Im still bloody happy though ive been enjoying using it.

It's almost like Pure is calculating a cloud shadow on/off.
I've had the same flickering shadows in the cockpit in VR (Oculus Rift CV1) with CSP 0.2.4-preview1 and Pure 2.16 LCS. I could solve the problem by deactivating "Automatic splits" under "Smart shadows" and setting "Distances for interior" to "2.6, 120, 400". It seems, that the first shadow split was causing the flickering in the cockpit. By increasing the first value from 1.3. to 2.6, the flickering was gone. But with the latest version CSP 0.2.6-preview1 and Pure 2.38 LCS the flickering was back with this settings. After changing the value back from 2.6 to 1.3 the flickering was gone now. That's very strange. Even with activated "Automatic splits" and all values for "Smart Shadows" reset to default, I have no shadows flickering in the cockpit anymore.

Drove around both sides of the track and noted where there were issues with holes. At least the ones I could find. Eau Rouge\Raidillon is fixed. Kemmel and Les Combes will be fixed shortly. Problem is, I can't find the other two you mentioned. Any chance you could make some screenshots of the general area you are referring to? Thanks...

And BTW, where were you people when I released the track in 2022? I specifically asked for people to point out mistakes so I could fix them and no one said anything about the holes in the road. I just assumed everything was fine for the past two years. Just joking of course. Thanks for making me aware so I could clean things up.
Because we thought you only worked on the looks of the track, unaware you were capable of fixing the physical road surface. I would have asked 2 years ago. 😅

Yeah I don't get it either, all his skins have them and it's a bit of a bore to fix...

Hi gents,
This is an old lady from the 70's that I drove when I was a young Boeing mechanic in the French Air Force. At the time it was a sports car but today, let's respect its old bones just to go get bread in the neighborhood.
Ford Capri 2600 RS RHD (for those driving the wrong side :), mine obviously was LHD)

__custom_showroom_1736115255.jpg

This mod is not mine, its a model from Velo (which is no longer available on the site), all credits for the author.
Several files modified in data folder to become a 2600 RS from a 1700. Logo's RS and RS2600 added with the help of 3DSimmed.

I had a Capri 3.0 S, year 1979. It was a blast. Very primitive car with leaf springs but mine had Recaros and it was a fast car of its time. I owned it in the 90's when I was a young kid. I still love Capri looks and imho the Mark III (or Mark II facelift for some) is a timeless looking car. Sure it was no real sports car but it had certain charm that is missing from today's cars.

Hi all! Is there any way we can alter the new WSC and GTC cars so that those specific cars that get their models from other mods do it from their own folder, so that we can just drop the necessary kn5's in the main bazza pasta and don't need to have two similar mods at the same time? Personally i don't like having two TVR Griffiths when i'm actually only going to drive one, leaving the other one there just taking disk space. I took a look at the ext_config and saw this there:

[MESH_ADJUSTMENT_...]
MESHES = VIS_wipers1_SUB0,VIS_wipers2_SUB0,VIS_wipers1_SUB1,VIS_wipers2_SUB1
MOVE_TO = modelRoot:y

Feels like this must be related to it, no? How can you do this?

Hello,
I am not able to find the precise way to get the Abarth Simca 2000 mod.
Could you indicate it precisely for me ?
Thank you very much.
