Impossible download
many adds

. Do you want me to leave. Really?
For what it is worth, I would prefer if you were using GT Planet download.
Gt Planet has been graciously hosting this amazing mod conversation for years and always has been a friend.
Going trough loops on a "patreon" site is not a better alternative, except if you have non revealed ulterior motive, GT Planet offer is a very good alternative.

On gumroad you can track people getting your mod to so that you can block AssettoWorld from getting it

Aaah man I love it.
Another one of many modders so outraged by the idea that an archiving website would add their precious wellcrafted creation to their abominable but well organized and highly popular catalogue. How dare you mix me up with all those peasants.

This always result in many, many complains, here and elsewhere, for "unwanted re-posting", or dare I say, "illegal appropriation" ? How unlikely, on the internet.

The even funnier thing to me is that, even when you clearly stated you are open to re-posting, even encouraged it : nothin'. Not a single sign of a Piper mod on AW or ACTK for that matter. Boys can't make up their mind, If you say yes nobody cares. It's like kindergarden : kids only want the candy they can't have, and cry if another kid dare have the same candy as they do.

Anthropologically speaking, it's fascinating.

Oh and by the way, you asked for help on an export problem a few pages back, for which I answered quickly to propose my help. I can see a lot of steam, a bit of sweat, even some purple and caps, but not a single word on that part. Guess you don't need me then, good for you, but after reading all of that, if you don't mind I probably won't answer next time. Manners matter, ya see.

The outburst was fun, tho

Just look at my mod. Stop whining about it. Modsfire monetizes the mod so that they get the service, not me.

Oh, and yeah I couldn't provide the 3d model as I wasn't allowed to upload it.

Oh yeah, and no need to act passive-agressive. Stop whining and get over it.

Has anyone else tried using Bazza's GTC60 Shelby 289 Competition? I have no sound from the car at all.
There was an error. The sound mod from Overtake works. 👇
Download and install this, was an error in packing so will be fixed next update

Okay here is a really weird one im experiencing. As of late, refreshing the server listing in CM it literally kills my entire home wifi.

I refresh the listing, servers fail to load/refresh, and my internet cuts out. Not just my PC, but my entire home for a few minutes.

Running 0.2.5-preview1 (not sure if its a preview thing causing this). Cant recall when I updated to this version, but its been longer than this issues started.

Very strange, not even sure where to start diagnosing on this one.

Finally tried the Guerrilla + CF GT4s that released a couple months ago. Found the AI couldn't handle them at all on fast corners for some reason (the AI worked fine on previous versions). Did some digging, they have the ai.ini file from the Kunos Cayman, with a very low look ahead value that makes them run wide constantly and unnecesary low brake hints too. Started fixing it in the notepad hoping for a good race aaaand it broke the encryption making the cars useless. Pain. Has this been noted before? (The borked AI I mean)

What is this gumroad trash anyway, that weird pay amount trash and inserting your email. to me it seems more serious sim racers into AC use this page, overtake and even the french garage, as the guy does good little fixes.

Don't mind me. This is good start for my 2025.

Only for the uploader.

GTPlanet is better for the downloader. We don't require people to enter a "fair price" value and a "tip" value (both of which can be zero, in fairness) and while Gumroad requires an email address we don't require registration of any kind to download files. And it's one click, not several pages.

I guess it's whether you want people to play with your mod or whether you want them to jump through hoops and be fooled into paying for it.
I have to say thank you for the Download system in GTPlanet, it came at the right time and prevented me from having to have to use sharemods links and share them. I would win 2$ with sharemods, but instead have user having ads everywhere, or people sharing the sharemod link directly instead of the release post and people missing everything I wrote in the release page that would be interesting to read before downloading.

Although I do have one question, some people were asking me to share the mod in an alternative way because they couldn't download it from gtplanet because connection error midway (and they tried wifi, mobile hotspot etc). It's a very low amount of people who reported this, but it exist. Do you have any idea?

I will be honest I don't like those archiving website neither, they are giving me more issues than anything. If it was made properly i wouldn't mind, but they split my 12 cars mod into separate cars, and don't provide the other stuff I bundled in the zip, like tyre texture, alternate physics etc etc. So in the end I get people asking me "yo tyre are not working and I don't find zip for tyres" "yo where are the alternate physics".

And they aren't monitoring anything so once they put a car in there, they don't update it. 2011 cars in their old website is a very old version and it irks me seeing people using old cars in some youtube video when I updated it

This is probably because your ISP sees your computer connecting with 100s of servers all at once and is blocking your traffic as it thinks you are possibly involved in a DDOS attack on the web. You can try contacting your ISP and explain the situation and get put on a whitelist or if they won't do that you can route your connection through a VPN service so your ISP only ever sees you connecting to one server. Also maybe click on some of the restrictors like 'Favourite' on the CSP server page so instead of connecting to 100s (or maybe 1000s now) of servers your PC is only interogating a handful.

Hope this helps.

Good morning.

I have just tested it, and both cars are working, as you can see on the sharp "Druids" curve at Brands Hatch.Check the CSP, I am using version (2.5).

Has anyone else had this problem?
Just tried it now, even with keyboard you can replicate the issue. The steering lock is too far for the suspension setup. I think if you reduce the steering lock amount available it will stop the problem. Tested without CSP extended physics.

My recent experience, I'm creating a huge AC backup these days, I've perused and abused the GTP downloads section all week and not a single download error.
Trying your files (just in case file size is the issue) as I write.

Edit: F1 2012 came down fine.

Hi guys,

I hereby share my personal preview setting for the Content Manager.

You will need this showroom here:

Here is the preset (klick on it and allow Content Manager to save it. Go to update previews, options and load the preset. Then click on update and close the window. Next car will have the preview in use as long as you don´t choose another one.

I tried to set it to the best camera angle, usable for even bigger cars like the Brabus G900, without losing too much information left & right.

Hope you enjoy!

Note: if the car is out of center, just adjust the FOV with the slider in the options.

Enjoy!
I created an alternate preset based on Fall Guy's CSP Preview preset.

Latest wips (2025/01)

and
GT4 Home & Garage (wip, Not a conversion)

The car name/country/year/type/mileage/date is created in lua script. Also, the Garage company logo is loaded from badge.png in the ui folder. So if you select another car, the information will be displayed for that car.
The NSX logo is a Track skin.
