Who has played for Everton, for Liverpool, against Everton against Liverpool, for England and against England?

Forgot about this thread! Answer to this was Dave Watson. He played for Liverpool reserves against Everton reserves, for Everton against Liverpool, and 12 times for England and against England for a Hong Kong XI prior to Euro 96.

Crikey, that's a hell of a question! I really struggled with that one.

I've got no idea about the Team GB one though. Hope this thread doesn't die; anyone is free to post a question if it goes quiet, all I try and do is update the leaderboard if and when I can.

Got three right, Giggs, Bellamy and Sturridge (who scored twice)...don't think Welbeck and Cleverley were there.

Two more to get, one obvious there other a bit difficult

Taking a guess, I Google'd to try and find the squad (To see if the players I was thinking of were even on the team) but Wikipedia didn't have it.

So Bale and Sterling? I assume if Bale was there he would have scored. Sterling probably wasn't on the squad but it's all I can think of.

Edit: found the squad, gonna guess Danny Rose and Aaron Ramsey as my two previous guesses weren't on the squad.

Aaron Ramsey is another and its the easier one of the two left so its the harder one left so ill give you a clue, he is officially a Man City player but he has been on loan at another club this season..

Yeah Sinclair!! so the five goalscorers were, Giggs, Bellamy, Ramsey, Sturridge and Sinclair

I don't know who gets the next one, Vegard got the most right with three so I think it should be him if anyone objects?...

Which English team once had their mascot sent off and "jailed"?
The answer to that is Burnley when they played QPR, but I don't really have a question to follow this up with... SO I guess I'll put up a fairly easy one.

What was the largest ever margin of victory in an international match?

32-0, Australia beating one of the other Oceania countries I believe

Well I have no clue what to ask that isn't that obvious so I'll just say: What was the venue of the first ever FA Cup?

Not Wembley, the first Wembley was the white horse final of 1923.

If I remember correctly, the first FA Cup final was between Wanderers and Royal Engineers in 1873ish. The venue might have been somewhere like the White City Stadium, but I think that was built especially for the Olympics so I'd say maybe... Hyde Park?

It it an actual stadium, and if so extant or defunct? Or is it going to be a park or something like that?

It is an actual stadium and is now used for county and international cricket games. @MUSC4EVER just a little bit before. Not much difference between 1872 and 1998. :P

As soon as you mentioned the cricket I knew that was it!

My question is a Merseyside derby special for tonight's big match...

Since 2000 13 England internationals have scored in the Merseyside derby, name them...the one who gets the most right gets the next question....

Nick Barmby, Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher (own goal perhaps?), Michael Owen, Francis Jeffers, Emile Heskey and Leighton Baines off the top of my head.

Yes to Barmby, Gerrard, Owen and Heskey, no to the others, own goals don't count im afraid...

Er, do we count tonight's game? I'd chuck in Daniel Sturridge but I don't know if he plays for England.

Sturridge did score in the derby before tonight's game so yeah he is another of them..

Sturridge, Barmby, Owen, Gerrard, Heskey so far.

Hmm, has Jagielka scored? I'm determined to get a majority here, because I have a question lined up.

He does and he scored in the Merseyside derby earlier this season.👍

Leon Osman? Robbie Fowler? Andy Johnson?

Yes to all three 👍

But your getting to the harder one now!

three more to get
