I don't sell any cars. I just keep adding. My goal is to have them all. Have the S2000. Fun car. The STI going back to it is easier to drive fast than the 22B.

Does anyone here know how the R34 drives? I'm probably going to get that next and max it out... I hope it isn't as terrible as the R33 (broken suspension makes the car super unpredictable?)...

Yeah one of my first cars and I used to think amazing. Drove it again for old times sake the other night and was blown away how loose and all over the place in corners it is. Far easier cars to drive like the Evo and STi. I personally think the RX7 is loose, the R34 is well beyond that. Lemme do some races and I'll get back to you.

Remember I don't mess with the settings on cars so it's possible after changing settings the cars I give my opinions on will be amazing

EDIT: OK I just did a few laps with it on AR Raceway which is the track I do for comparisons. The car steers ok, maybe some understeer, but and here is the big problem, and you get back on the throttle in the corner, the car loses traction and then you lose control. Similar, but to a fair amount lesser extent than the Sagaris. Car has way to much power for the tires. This is a fully upgraded car with slicks. Which is the way I run all my cars.

If you don't wanna collect all cars and are tight on cash get all Evos, STIs, MR2.

Anyone care to share a drift setup on the AE86 ? I have just downloaded this again and OMG drifting is frustrating.

Just confirmed, at least on Android, on the MR2 I was at Turbo upgrade stage 1. Decided I wanted to go back to Stock. Did that. Exited from that screen to do the same with Engine but decided to go back to Turbo first. When I went there Stage 1 was no longer choosable. As if I never bought it. Definitely MAJOR bugs in the cars upgrades.

On Android:

1. Don't go backwards. Once you upgrade, stay where you are.
2. Don't try to upgrade past Engine 1. You can't and will possibly lose your first Engine upgrade trying to do so.

Only thing close to a speedway would be that Test Course oval. I'd surely be open to the idea of a speedway, especially a short oval or maybe a one-mile oval. Throw in maybe a figure-8 or a road course layout for those ovals for some drift action or more technical racing. Maybe think of a track like Irwindale, which has seen drifting. Then too, an intermediate or superspeedway type oval would be great also.

Hi, I am new on this forum. Just joined with the new release of GT Sport and wanted to share my videos of Assoluto Racing. Have kept track of this thread for a while. Assoluto Racing is a great game and I hope many more new cars and even tracks come in the future. I think developers are working on an airfield. :)

Some of my videos:

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat @ AR Official Raceway - 01:04:489

Dodge SRT Viper ACR @ AR Official Raceway - 00:58:138

BMW M3 E46 @ AR Official Raceway - 01:07:305

Lexus LFA @ AR Official Raceway - 01:01:822 (This was on old leaderboard and I managed to beat Aldo047 1.01.862 time, last corner was amazing)

I've actually been to Irwindale. My cousins used to do stock car racing.

*is currently cowering in fear that his RX7 FD WR at Yamagata Circuit will be obliterated*

(also possibly maybe a low-speed street circuit would be a huge amount of fun to drive around?)

(and just turned a new pretty terrible WR lap at Yamagata, a 1:06.739 in the FD)

Your time is very good. Took me about 10 minutes to get used to the car and I was struggling to make the corners and after about 15 minutes I managed to beat your time. I did a 25.2 first sector I believe.

What is your control scheme/steering assist level/steering sensitivity?

I spent a good half an hour doing this combo and I somehow manage to get it down to a 1:06.3... I'll beat that 1:06.2 soon!

(I honestly think with a perfect lap someone could get into the 1:05s)

https://everyplay.com/videos/48103469 (I lost too much time in the first sector... had the first sector be a 25.2 (it was a 25.5) then that would have easily been a 1:05. Second and final sectors were pretty much spot-on.

Also using accelerometer, 34.8 sensitivity, and 8% steering assist.

Gave this a quick go during the F1 Team Principals Conference, my brother keeps pestering me to play Assoluto Racing and compete against him. Took me about 10 minutes to do this lap. This car seems quite easy to drive on this track, for sure 1:05's possible but didn't want to spend too much time on it. Best of luck to you guys, I'll be shocked if my brother doesn't manage to achieve it.

I tried to do a near perfect lap but keep making mistakes. I did a 25.118 1st sector but lost around half a tenth on that sharp left midway through the lap and messed up last turn and lost another tenth so did a 1.05.839. I can't some reason do a near perfect lap with this car. Also right hander I lost a tenth too.

Peugeot RCZ Limited Edition @ AR Official Raceway - 01:10:106 (Lucky lap it seems)

Little question : has anyone got problems get the gold medal on the First license test?
The trick is to brake and handbrake into the right wall and hope you stop perfectly as early as possible.

Edit: I just did an 8.299 Gold time and make sure you keep handbrake on at end.

I have gotten better with Assoluto Racing recently. A big reason why is because I found a better control scheme to use. It would be too easy turning when I am not trying to turn. So I changed the scheme to using two touch buttons to go left and right. I also rearranged the accelerator and brake touchscreen buttons as well as move over the handbrake. I now have better control of the car and have even made some better progress in my AR career. Sometimes, all you need is a better setup to be a solid driver in a racing/driving game.

I was thinking of getting the Honda S2000 to my collection. Now, I may look at getting my first car in either the "C" or "B" class. I have enough to get the Nissan S15 Silvia. I am not going to sell my 240SX because there are still a few more Unmodified races I haven't cleared yet with Gold. At the same time, however, I am also considering the Mazda RX-7, though I am still a good less than 25K Credits short. I am just gauging my options outside of doing well with the lower-level events.

Get the RX-7 (or the NSX Type R... I need more spinning doritos and NSX lovers...) :P

Would be cool if the gamepad support would allow us to assign throttle and brake to up/down on the right analog stick. It'll let you assign it to right, and down oddly, but you can't assign anything to up or left (though I really just want to put throttle on up).

Cool game though. Physics seems to have improved over time.

So true.

Better yet, would a PC port be possible so that we can use our wheels with it?

I went ahead and bought the Toyota MR2. I won a few of the Unmodified Pro-Am races early on to 25% completion. However, the fun would turn to frustration trying to beat the qualifying times once I started racing at Yamagata Circuit. I was over five seconds of the qualifying time despite hitting the Apex Points. I figure I'll need a more powerful car or a better performing one. So I then decided to sell the MR2 and get the S15 Silvia. I now have two Nissans in my garage. The S15 Silvia is a bit more stable, a touch more powerful, and a bit lighter than the MR2. Still not enough, though.

I actually completed the Unmodified Races today. Now, I am contemplating selling my lovely red S15 Silvia and try to stay among the F-Class and D-Class cars. I am basically not yet ready to take on the more powerful cars and tougher races. Either the S2000 or 3000GT are among my choices to move to a better car. I am leaning towards the 3000GT. Both the aforementioned cars are 40K Credits. So I'm going to have to grind to get a better car. Selling the 240SX is worth 6K Credits, and selling the Silvia S15 is worth 9K Credits. Got some decisions to make, methinks.

I also tried the Modified Series races. I did not get within the qualifying time. I didn't want to modify my 240SX to where it is beyond the F or D designation. The modifications are not enough to get it done.

"Assoluto Racing" is becoming more enjoyable to me. So I still want to offer my cheers to @jujunosuke on developing a fine game.

JohnBM01 tip for you. Keep your cars as resale value is nowhere near purchase value. Watch videos daily and earn coins to get garage slots and buy coin only cars or you could pay to get a credit doubler and earn credits much faster that way.

Funny enough, I saw a video last night before playing the game. Turns out, you earn Credit bonuses and other stuff for watching a bunch of videos. I earned 6K Credits for clearing watching a set of videos. 6K Credits is like, victory in five or six races! Sometimes, though, the game doesn't let you see videos no matter how many times you try to access them.

I am still far away from getting a new ride. I won't go back to the Peugeot RCZ or anything.
