I was watching a couple of your YouTube videos last night and then I came up with a question. Have you ever done a comparison of the Vision Gran Turismo cars -- which I imagine would involve running them on Suzuka with the same tires to see who the champ is.

I haven't tested all of them, in fact the Aston was the first one because it was a request by another member. I will probably get around to doing the rest of them this week!

For me ist the GTI vision best for now!!

I didn't find this car as bad as some have said, I actually like it. It understeers so you have to manhandle it into corners, but after that it's all good. I'm really liking the styling too. Except for the rear diffuser sticks out far too much. I misjudged the final turn and thought I'd get a red lap; was very surprised when I didn't. I'll take that 0:46.438 thank you very much. :D

Yes, it's been a while since the GT5 trading days. You're worth your weight in gold buddy.

I'm using an elgato HD to capture the replays. It works well for the price.

Yes, I miss those times, especially the time of the reset, the also the sound receive gifts in the jewelry box. ohh.....good times..
I was also with elgato, but at the last moment decided to HDPVR, but both are excellent.

Keep working, mate 👍

Has this thread been neglected   Anyway... i did an hour stint last night i'm came so close to beating my time with a 45:346 :banghead: I wish i could take that last corner the way i taken it on my current fastest time, it really is an all or nothing corner that one.
Edit: And just accidentally beat it practising on my HK account :indiff: I feel ashamed of myself :guilty: but i just had to carry on because i thought i might of taken top spot.

First run with this, ended up with 45:763

BUT HOLY F'KING SH'T THIS CAR HANDLES BAD!!!

@CRANK_U1 : how you manage to handle this car without throwing the controller through the screen is beyond me! If I get to the top 10 in this piece of crap I'd be happy.
If you point the car in the right direction and slam the throttle (4WD driving) you light up the rear tyres, and if you try to be smooth, it understeers worse than a pig on rollerskates.:irked:

I guess thats why most of the top players haven't bothered with it. I find it ok to drive though believe it or not. Maybe its a controller thing :sly:

Yeah, probably.

I took a break and came back for a few laps, I'm starting to get the hang of it now. 45.676 now but I can see 45.3 if I get a good lap. We'll see. I hope I can take away atleast 1 of your podiums since you occupy 2 podium spots in the same TT:P

edit. Cute bunny, he looks a bit vicious.;)

I'm going to try to improve with my uk account tomorrow then lol. I red lapped a 285 just going a bit too wide on the penultimate corner the other day so 2XX is possible. I seem to be losing time to the top guy mid-lap, he really takes it so sweet, so i need to get that right to beat him but i just can't see it all coming together though. Really tough to not make any mistakes :grumpy:

Not a bad handling car, just requires finesse.

I don't like the way it drives. I forgot what my laptime was, but it took me an hour to get one that isn't very good. :(

Not like you that doodle :odd: Maybe playing too much GTAV has made you rusty.

Ok so there's no way to upload videos to youtube but to have some sort of caption card?

Exactly. You need to capture a video of your replay, edit it, render it and upload it. Alternatively, you could record and upload the video with you phone.

Ok thanks!! I should have almost known this though, I have actually worked on some HDDvideo recorders (still don't understand too much about them though) and been wondering how in the heck can my ps hold up such huge quantity of replay videos and figured it has to do something about packing and format...

And now I really see how much work it requires to do that stuff and don't wonder anymore why people don't upload more videos.

Always like to watch gt replays so thank you for keeping it up!!

Thank you for watching them.

The game doesn't actually store a video file of your replay, instead it saves info of what happened in the race. Things such as your position on the track and what buttons you pressed. That's why those files are so small.

But that was GOOD! Damn good! I can ofcourse see an improvement, but I dont see myself getting that lap together in the day that is left. Moving over to the Nissan 2020.👍

Congratulations @CRANK_U1 , you beat me with 2 accounts this time! You bastard!:sly:

I wasn't comfortable with the way I ended up cutting the last corner so I gave this another go today and managed to better my lap by a hair, but it's a cleaner lap.

I might give it a couple runs tonight since I was up a half dozen times on my ghost by a half tenth at the drifty a curve but I could just never hit the final two corners quite right. I predict you'll too my friends list on this one!
