At what point do race cars come in to play?

At what point would you find racecars? Like, Not nascar, you know what I mean, Those 1-5 million race cars, everyone drives in the extreme cup, and endurace hall's. I'm about to enter the professionaly cup after completeing almsot all my lisence tests, a bunch of Special condition hall races, and a few manafacure events, oh and a couple (i think 10?) Driving missions, and i'm wondering at what point am I going to need them, or start getting them?

As a rule of thumb, you'll need one as soon as you run into them as they'll get more common after the initial encounter. Maybe in some endurances if you decide to drive those, but in the Gran Turismo World Championship for sure. Usually the races in which you race them also reward you with one in return.

You could also use racecars when you get lazy and enter the race in B-Spec mode, you know, since the B-Spec driver sucks.

Once you can't really keep up with a normal car is when you'll "need" them. It's not hard to figure it out.

Yeah but in both cases, this also means you're cheating..no offense.

In the Tuner Car challenge, I've gone halfway there by attaching a wing to a regular vehicle several times...but as Greycap says...you don't really need a full-racing car till you're in the World Championship....especially if you've got some experience. Personally, I'll probably still be using a regular car with a wing.

When you have to go against race cars like in GT World Championship, that's when you need your own race car, but by that stage you should've already won atleast 1 of them.

I'm trying to do EVERY SINGLE special conditions race with a BONE STOCK Spec-C, w/100hp nitrous kit.....even with the S2 tyres on Tarmac. Only have Tahiti Maze, 1 of the Grand Canyon runs and the Paris George V stage on Hard each time left before I complete that task.

Mafs!!

When I first started playing GT4 the first car I won was a 350Z racecar. I got the licences and money from my GT3 save though.

In the Japanese championship I was against full blown racecars with a fully specced R34 Vspec II Nur and won every race outright except the Twin ring. Those high speed corners just NEED that downforce. (Came back later with the black LMPS to destroy the competition.)

So I'm assuming your R34 didn't have a wing kit attached?
