I'm really hating how impossibly hard it is to get clean race bonus on all the WTC 700 and 800 races. I've been doing them to keep the credit grind feeling fresh, but after about fifteen races I've only gotten the bonus once.
I hate knowing that I've thrown away about 70 thousand credits each race just because I've put a tire slightly over the edge where I shouldn't, and it's so fine a margin I have no idea where my fault is. Meanwhile in the longer races I can literally smash another car and take us both off the track, but the game is fine giving me my 250-500 thousand bonus for driving cleanly. What an absolute joke.
I want to do other races, but I end up feeling like "what's the point?" And the Le Mans and Spa race can be done only so many times before I want to try something else. I guess that's why I felt this thread was a good place to vent this frustration.
Quick side note: Just did the Fuji race, and I hate how the drying line after the rain forces you to take the same wonky lines as the AI in some corners, entering from the middle and exitting on the inside.
