Bad news guys...

PD, in the process of updating GT6, has wiped the settings of our Pre-Q events. However, times have not been wiped. Later tonight, I will fix these events as I'm currently unable to do so now. As a result of this complication, I will extend the Pre-Q closing date by 4 hours. So the new closing time will be Saturday at 17:00 GMT+10.

Sure has.

Wait a second, my name shouldn't be on that list! NW48, i told you i wouldn't be entering these because i simply didn't have the time. Sorry to disappoint.

Sorry to everyone and especially @NW48 and @mustafur, but I'm going to have to pull out of the season even though I only signed up a few days ago. I shouldn't have signed up as I underestimated the workload and study time University would place on me and I am terrible at tuning.

Deepest apologies guys, though I'd love to be involved in this if there
is a Season 2 of this.

So, if I've made arrangements now to be able to run full time, would I need to switch to Group B? Or do I have to stay as a wildcard?

I would like to reduce my participation to wildcard as I can't see my self having this many saturdays off, sorry should of thought ahead but im realising how late this race is being held.

Okay, the Rear Wing paint is an alright idea. We can use this, say if we have 2 teams that have black body paint, we can have one team run a red rear wing and the other, say, blue! 👍

Decent feature. :)

Wondering how it took that long to have it in the game
My car is blackish too, if you guys go blue I'll stick with the bright red of my rims ! 👍

@NW48 holds the signup book but I think you can stick with your current car if there's at least 1 still available.

EDIT : Ok I just saw A is full already, my bad
Well as some are pulling off and stuff we'll review the driver list with NW and let you know ASAP how we address this.

@Wavey2014 How will Safety Car work in the races? Like 1 formation lap and go? No Cautions? correct? or?

Sorry for lots of questions, just gotta know whats going on before I get on Tokyo this Saturday Morning for me :sly:

The simplest is whenever the SC is called out (SC in the chat) the SC drives slowly through sector 1 until race leader catches up (every none-leader driver is allowed to pass through). When every cars are queued behind the leader the race direction will eventually call back in the SC when it crosses the start finish line for it's in-lap.
Then it's like a normal rolling start.

Something I forgot @Wavey2014 ? :)

So then how is the SC (safety Car) determined when to come out as if your saying their is cautions?

Safety Car
The Safety Car will be used during this event. How the Safety Car will be used is as follows;

-The Safety Car will only be brought out if 3 or more cars are involved in a crash/spin that leaves them stationary (or at a slow speed) for more than 5secs or if there is a car stationary on the track due to heavy damage. If you are found to have faked heavy damage, you will be investigated.

- If the Safety Car is brought out, it will pick the field up after the first corner and bunch the field up at a steady pace of 60kmh.

- The Safety Car will continue to circulate until the entire field is bunched up.

- Once the field is bunched up, the Safety Car will do one more lap then pull into the pit lane.

- Once the Safety Car is in pit lane, the leading car in the pack will continue at a steady 60kmh until the Start/Finish line where the race will be restarted as the leading car hits the Start/Finish Line. Falsifying the restart may result in a penalty.

If you have any questions about the Safety Car method, please do not hesitate to ask as this is an important aspect of the race.

Wouldn't it be best for 2 people to call SC for a Safety Car? Just incase one person doesn't spam Safety Car Cautions.

This^, but instead of 'until all cars are queued up, it Will be the case of, when the caution is clear, the SC will be joining the pitlane and the race will continue.
