You might have touched this. But how fast will the SC be going?
60 kmh

Thanks @David Talle

So the people calling the SC will be the people involved in a crash? For example let's say (3) people which is the minimum for a caution at least 2 people need to type in SC to be a caution? Correct? incorrect?

Usually, it would be the stewards calling SC, unless it has been changed.
Sounds Good!

Also At the beginning of the Race Do we start double wide formation lap? or just go right off the bat?

The safety car has not and will not change from Tokyo. :)

Safety Car
The Safety Car will be used during this event. How the Safety Car will be used is as follows;

-The Safety Car will only be brought out if 3 or more cars are involved in a crash/spin that leaves them stationary (or at a slow speed) for more than 5secs or if there is a car stationary on the track due to heavy damage. If you are found to have faked heavy damage, you will be investigated.

- If the Safety Car is brought out, it will pick the field up after the first corner and bunch the field up at a steady pace of 60kmh.
- The Safety Car will continue to circulate until the entire field is bunched up.
- Once the field is bunched up, the Safety Car will do one more lap then pull into the pit lane.
- Once the Safety Car is in pit lane, the leading car in the pack will continue at a steady 60kmh until the Start/Finish line where the race will be restarted as the leading car hits the Start/Finish Line. Falsifying the restart may result in a penalty.

If you have any questions about the Safety Car method, please do not hesitate to ask as this is an important aspect of the race.

This^, but instead of 'until all cars are queued up, it Will be the case of, when the caution is clear, the SC will be joining the pitlane and the race will continue.
The cars must be bunched up before the Safety Car can peel off into pit lane. Otherwise there's no reason to have the Safety Car on a street circuit (since Heavy damage is disabled for street circuits).

At this point in time, it will be on @Wavey2014 to decide on it using the Full Circuit Map to see any stationery/slow moving arrows on the track. He will then type 'SC' into the Text Chat then wait to collect the field after the first corner but before the 2nd.
Sounds Good!

Standing start with false start check.

Pre-Q Reminder // ATCC Announcement

Pre-Q events are now back up and have had their deadline extended to Saturday at 19:00 GMT+10. Only 2 people have completed Pre-Q and they are; @Tijee & @J_Cameron.

Driver's Briefing will be published on Saturday before the race.

Expect a big announcement hopefully tonight regarding the series.

Got my first Pre-Q won't say I'm too proud of it though.
Chin-up mate, this is purely for fun and skill-building. By the end if the series, you'll look back at where you came from and think to yourself, "Damn, I've come a long way, I'm a lot better now!".

That's exactly what I'm doing so far in this series, building upon my skills to be a better driver on GT6. :)👍

@NW48
Just did my first pre-Q session. Just to clarify are we allowed to use parts not listed under the OP? I'm asking specifically about those that allow you to tune suspension etc. but could also apply to performance mods.

Oh and I've changed my car's colour to black.

Cheers!

Edit: Just saw someone else had asked the same question not long ago :lol:

Suspension, LSD, Transmission can be changed/upgraded, but you are not allowed to use any other power/weight parts than those outlined in the Specs/Parts post. :)👍

Just saw your Corvette and it looks fantastic! 👍
