The video is terrific, reminds me of Webber's crash at Le Mans in 1999 or something.
I very Highly doubt it.I think his career is over now. From the PS3 to killing someone. I don't think he'll be able to cope with it
Thoughts go out to them
doubt my statement or doubt he'll be like he was?I very Highly doubt it.
He's got Le Mans coming up as well.doubt my statement or doubt he'll be like he was.
Think about it. He's been on the rise for awhile and now someone's died. Every time he gets into the car that will play on his mind.
I think he knows its not his fault though and it was a series of events that caused it, I mean it's nothing like Tony Stewarts incident last year which was much worse, he will bounce back im sure of it.doubt my statement or doubt he'll be like he was?

In race 2, I had to quit because my dfgt fell off the stand. I was holding a wheel in the air in my hands for a few seconds.
Its not a bad wheel anyway. I just have to use auto gears because I cant stand the paddles.Mine's hard mounted so that's one thing I don't have to worry about lol. I've modded the hell out of it, and I have to say it's not a bad wheel really, for what it cost me. It's just that stupid throttle pot, the brake one never does it, the throttle one just keeps stuffing up

With?Wait, what happened?
Even though i was the only Group B driver, It wasn't exactly lonely for me. Enjoyed all the races, even had some battles with Group A drivers.
I hope there are more cars in group B for the next race:tup:
Jann.With?
Yes I did.@NW48 did you get my incident report?
How is it Jann's fault, wind obviously got underneath the car and blew it onto it's rear at 150mph, there is no chance in hell of avoiding that incident!Jann.
Just read through the article on the main page and saw the video, not good.
Jann is the only GT Academy star I like. And I follow his every step as he has huge potential. Hopefully this doesn't affect his racing career too much. But that Take Inueno dude isn't helping the situation by blaming Jann for the entire incident and saying video gamers can't be racing drivers.
Ask that dude. How is it Jann's fault, wind obviously got underneath the car and blew it onto it's rear at 150mph, there is no chance in hell of avoiding that incident!
No there's nothing he can do.How is it Jann's fault, wind obviously got underneath the car and blew it onto it's rear at 150mph, there is no chance in hell of avoiding that incident!
Yeah that does seem plausible, it's really a case of going over the crest about 4-5mph faster, the front wheels come off of the ground. It would be fantastic to experience in GT6 but obviously there's no wind in the game .No there's nothing he can do.
However
The question is what was the cause to make the car flip like that. If he was following another car in slip then you can understand with the different wind patterns (as Webber's crash). But as many know that's a hard corner, even on the PS3 you need the correct speed. Perhaps that one lap he just pushed too hard and made the car do that. Looking at the clip he was being chased by the 911. So it seems plausible to me really.
If it was due to him messing up then he's going to feel all the more worse.
Hope that makes sense
It's not a case of the catch fencing stopping the car (well, it is but listen) it's the fact that the car went over the fence. The fence would have done it's job if he hit it directly, but no, as you saw in the video his rear end dug into the sand, his front rolled over the tyre barrier and as a result his rear end pivoted the car over the fence. 👍Ask that dude.
No one should be at fault for that incident. It's a carbon copy of Webber's Le Mans crash many years ago. Track safety needs to be improved at the Nurburgring, that catch fence did jack:censored: to catch (stop) Jann's car.

So, Round 4 saw us invade the UK with races at London and Brands Hatch. Russian Roulette Racing had a night to forget, with their first podium-less night of the series. Team RaceOnOz had a stellar night snatching 1-2's in all 3 races. @Beau Albert was definitely 'Man-of-the-Match' with a fantastic debut round.
Onto the bad stuff. Quality of racing at Brands was a touch below my standards and a fair bit behind the standard we have been racing to all season. A fair few of us left our racing brains behind in the paddock for sure. We weren't approaching the opening laps with caution and instead everyone was trying to win the race in the opening laps, which never goes down well. As a result the opening two laps at Brands are under investigation.
London. I understand that it's a very small track and passing is hard, but a large majority of us raced like amateurs, disregarding the warning for caution I gave in Driver's Briefing. But, I will give the minor incidents a waiver as it is a very small track. However, the first corner of the first London race is under investigation.
Thirdly, I was wholly disappointed with the attendance last night. We should have had a full grid judging by people who said they'd be there.
Finally, lateness. Last night everyone got a lesson In lateness. If you aren't on time, we are not going to wait any longer than 2 minutes for you. The precedent has been set, and that's how it will remain.

Think the highest there's been in the GTTCC D2 is about 7, so 12 is very good. Also, small grids are better I find, less peoples strategies to keep track of and less stewarding...Just to clarify for those who weren't there, it wasn't a small grid, we had 12 people but I was expecting more and have come to expect more, but not that bad depending on how you look at it.
