Very sorry I didn't make it last night, I was in Sydney again this time seeing Alt jay which I didn't know till Friday night although I did pm NW. I have the urge to race after a 2 week break
Yes, I can vouch for you as you did tell me about your absence on Friday. I knew ahead of time that yourself, @Tijee & @Pubs16 weren't able to race due to legitimate reasons. And for that, I thank you.

Wow, something I said actually got read and obliged!
I loved it, certainly stopped me from going off my head and after reading it again, it makes me feel better, weirdly, either that or the multiple rants I've been doing since the rant I did in the lobby with @Aaroh007, @David Talle, @Timlour and yourself, have also let me get some stuff off my chest and hopefully the season will benefit from that.

Maybe I made a mistake with the length of the series, and if there's a 2nd season, I will shorten it to 7 or 8 rounds.

I mentioned that after you left the room, I said it could be the initial length of the calendar that could have put people off as it was certainly a lot to commit to. It wasn't a problem for me though but I can only speak for myself. :) 👍

Sorry I didnt make it guys, I have finals and such
It's all good, mate. You only joined a day or two out from the race so I didn't expect you at all. :)👍

---

Just a heads up to everyone, we will be starting at an earlier time due to the GTP Karting Trials which many of us have when the room would usually close. The room will now open at 21:25 GMT+10.

Due to the below average grid sizes, Pre-Q will not be happening this week. Instead, there will be a new qualifying procedure that will be trialled.

Next round is Bathurst correct?

Also just curious as to whether we'll still be doing the Endurance races? I wasn't aware they were non-points?

We made a decision after the poor showing at the test to postpone them till the end of the season. We also are considering changing the format of the Enduro Cup to two separate races running at the same time, or near the same time due to a lack of staff to act as Race Control.

Getting excited for this weekend's round actually! Finally we reach Bathurst, should make for an interesting couple races I think!

Also only just saw this, this is handy because I think I'm about to maybe be moved into Heat 04 also!

Round 9, the penultimate round, comes to you from the greatest track in Australia, the legendary Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit. With just a finish here, Lexus can wrap up the Group B Manufacturers Championship and so could Chevrolet, but the Nissan squad will be there to make sure that can't happen. @NW48 can also wrap up the Group A Driver's Championship and the overall Driver's Championship with a podium in each race, but @mustafur can take the championship to the final round with a clean sweep of wins here.

New Qualifying Method

I'm trialling a new Qualifying method tonight at Bathurst, similar to the Infamous Top 10 Shootout for the Bathurst 1000. What will happen is, everyone will get just one lap to set their fastest time in a Qualifying session set to just 4mins. Instead of having physical cars on the track, the physical presence of cars will instead be a blue line to prevent anyone from being caught up in another's mess during the one lap. This will not affect the physical presence of cars in the race.

New Room Joining Method
This will only be in affect for the main game room, not the supports. We trialled this method a few rounds back and it worked with much success, so it shall return after a dismall run with the servers. You will only be permitted to join the room when I send you a message via PSN. You will need to join the room ASAP from the time I send you a message for this to work.

Group A & Group B Passing
If a Group A car approaches a Group B car, it is the responsibility of the Group A car to pass safely, however, if it is safe to do so, the Group B car should yield off the racing line safely.

Pit Lane Entry/Exit Lines
We are at a track that has these lines, it is important to acknowledge these lines. Failure to do so will result in a 'Dangerous Driving' penalty.

Use of Text Chat
Use of Text Chat will be slightly restricted during the round. We ask that you do not spam the text box as it does result in some server instability. This is a precaution we are taking to ensure better server stability.

Recovery Time
There will be a maximum of 10mins recovery time (Disconnection/Rejoining waiting time) before a race, this time will begin once two or more people DC from the room. Once the time is up or all the problems are resolved, the race will start, no matter what.

Safety Car
The Safety Car will be run during both races providing the Safety Car ( @Wavey2014 ) is in attendance.

So, tonight we are aiming for an attendance of at least 10 considering I haven't heard that anyone else being unable to attend tonight. Bathurst should he an absolute thriller of a round, providing we have the numbers to do so.

I cant make it to the race

Hi, is it okay for me to make a wildcard appearance? I don't mind what car, whatever make it an even field =]
You definitely can! Pick whatever car/class you want.

EDIT- I see you've joined my test room, we'll continue discussions there.

im quite happy to join.
Thomas 633/thomas__633/63/Genesis/(probably Verde Ithaca (LP640), the blackest black I can find in the paint area (rims)/+9.30 (adelaide)

Also, id like to be in an independent team called Dreamcast Racing Services (might make a logo later for the lols)

WARNING: terrible internet connection right now, I tend to have to turn the net off on my laptop if I want to try to connect online.

Awesome to have you join us. Just a heads up, the Genesis is a bit of a handful, so if you are struggling with it, you can switch to the BMW M4 or the C63 AMG. :)👍

No need for a friend request as I already have you on my list if I'm not mistaken. :) Hope to see you tonight!

EDIT- Just sent you an invite to the Community Club.

I will try them out...
Got 5 mil right now (saving for a Mk4 Le Mans) so plenty of money to do so).
Now gotta ask my dad for the telly for two hours...
also which tends to be faster, the M4 or C63?
also with oil change I assume?
and are racing brakes custom supsension etc allowed?

Oil Change. And neither. All cars have been BoP tested until they are even on par. But the M4 seems to be a good car straight out of the box for people who don't have the time to tune as it handles fairly well.

Racing brakes and custom suspension, etc. are all allowed.
