Only problem is the pedals get dust and crap in there and require a clean out once in a while.
I got my G27 from e-bay.... $250 2nd hand. Brilliant and reliable.

Top race guys,didn't have any outright pace due to no practice,but very consistent lap times for most of the race kept me on the lead lap. I just went in with same setup as last week and probably should've softened it up a bit,but rathered knowing what it was going to do over the racerun. Had a feeling after qually that if i took it relatively easy i'd climb up the leaderboard due to damage on people,and had there not been some weird issue where Griphunter & me could see each other in the lobby when first in the room,but as soon as we went on track we lost each other,it would've been 5th.Says so on my replay lol. Did my stops at the end of Lap 24 & 41. Was able to close the gap in some sectors,but the last sector was costing me a second most laps as the stiffness pushed me wide thru the left handers after each tunnel. Was great fun though,was glad when Gastro caught me knowing he was a lap down i could let him go & pace off him for a bit to the flag.

Found three undocumented settings from G27, one of them removes deadzone from center, is this "we know it already" stuff and no need for topic at all?

Personally haven't know it before.

Instructions later if people think at this is something what they want to know.

[1+2] + O = ~670°
[1+2] + S = ~450°
[1+2] + X = 900° Resets to default
[1+2] + T = ~240°


1 and 2 buttons goes down almost same time, I have used order 1-2 and then selection without any specific delay, then releasing selection key and also 1 and 2 buttons.
*After many tests can say at just hold 1+2 down and then select TSOX-mode which you want to use.
Have done it everywhere, on track, on menus, so doesn't matter where, only doing it after wheel calibration, 'coz calibration resets these modes.
If you keep small tension on wheel when switching to 0deadzone mode you feel small *klak* and movement of wheel.
After successful mode change you feel it when turning wheel toward lock, there will be a FFB-engine powered lock what you feel on chosen radius.

I have figured this out yesterday so not much testing yet, hopefully somebody have time to test this also on PC, 100% sure at it will have effect on PS3.
Hardware coded feature, works on PS3 and PC.

G25 confirmed also to work same as G27
Works also on DFGT (1=start 2=select) (some works, some not..weird)

My wheel says its coming on the 20th, so I'll be out of action till then unfortunately. I'll also be scarce around here till mid next week at least. I have to complete an alpha build of a 3D racing game by Tuesday (started yesterday, so far all I have is just a car that has basic arcade physics and moving wheels on a flat ground lol), have to complete the build of a custom drupal based website by Monday, then an assignment to start and complete by Thursday. In a little bit of a hell time wise atm but hopefully after that I can dedicate some good time to this.

Its coded using the unity engine so it can be for anything, but I have to produce an exe for windows. Its not as much coding as it seems though, unity has a lot of built in functions that do the heavy lifting for you. For example I don't have to worry about the basic graphics engine, and they have a lot of basic physics functions I can take advantage of. Plus I am just talking free to download textures and car models so the time making those is cut to zero. Tonight I have to make my front wheels actually turn in the direction of the wheel and model the suspension.. But watching the F1 qualy first

Well my ps3 randomly switched itself off then proceeded to flash its red light... Now it's ok again. Don't think that was network related but who knows after the earlier dramas.

Hi Lads, I thought that i qualified 2nd behind either Greasy or Gastro they had a 1.51.881 and i had a 1.52.7? I didn't see any faster times comes up so I assumed that I was out of P2 - when I moved forward past Ven I had my foot off the brake . . . i tried to correct this at Turn 1 and let people through? Then with the restart . . . . well had put some really good laps together the had an off and my G27 grew an extra head and stayed on full lock - my race over . . . . I had been practising with DBN and HP for about 30mins along with voice chat and I believe that my internet is stable now that I'm using a patch cable. Everyone else here was in bed and I was the only one using the next . . . I wasn't seeing any Lag?? pretty disappointed. . . anyways . . . next week I guess . . . Cheers Phil
