That video makes turning in on the brakes into a new artform. I just can't keep the car straight on the DFP doing that. Maybe my technique is all wrong, too game, not enough real.

[OT="Sort of"] I noticed today that the Ford Focus ST is not a car to trail brake lightly. It's not that it misbehaves per se, it's just that you can feel the direction of the wheels changing as the suspension rebounds and the resultant change in steering lock required to let the car take the line you thought you had already set can be a bit of a surprise.

[OT="Wildly"] However, to all Focus ST owners out there, if you haven't had your car remapped.... go and get it done. My friend's 300lb.ft 265~hp car is an absolute hoot. As stock, it was 250lb.ft / 245hp. The extra go is worth every penny - especially as tootle-mode fuel efficiency actually gets better! [/OT]
