Already? Why just why???
July update came out last week, it´s now the first of August and the August update will hit later this month.

We actually already know a littel bit about it (the DIOR stuff) and we have a pretty good reason to assume there will be a new track.

What more do you need?

3 new cars:
*Lexus LFA
*Lancia Delta S4
*BMW M5 E60

1 new set of missions, 8 missions that you will be able to finish within 1 day, no 24 hour races yet because who the hell wants those?

2 more scapes because we need more and more of them.

10 more Café conversations because we need more of these for damn sure.

Some bug fixes. The 918 Spyder hybrid system gets fixed as it's not working propperly at all. Some more Custom Race/Lobbies QoL improvements.

1 new track? Grand Valley Speedway? Apricot Hill? Midfield Raceway?

Basically your average GT7 update.

And that should be it... No, you will not be able to sell cars. That requires a massive change to code, likely to the point that PD would have to recreate the entire GT7 game itself, so clearly this can't be added into the game until at least 2026 or something at the earliest...

My understanding from certain twitter accounts that have sight of code is that car selling is pretty much dev complete, so I wouldn't be surprised if we finally see it in the August update.

Beyond that, 3 new cars + dior variant, new track (Apricot Hill or Road Atlanta??) and perhaps even start of seasonal events? Too hopeful :D

I'm guessing (hoping) we'll get 4 cars with the Dior Mangusta being one of them, at least one race car, hopefully a sedan or two

New track (Road Atlanta or an original)

Selling cars (only ones you've bought)

Bugfixes, scapes, other Dior stuff, etc.

What's the point of these type of threads?
I made one for April (which received a nice amount of comments which was actually quite satisfying) but yeah after a couple of months, it does get a bit silly.

Also, I hope that if PD continue the 3 new cars for this month the Dior Pantera isn’t part of the 3 otherwise that feels like a “smack in the face” from PD in my opinion - I hope it’s an addition to the usual 3 cars (assuming it will be 3 cars this month but very early days).

Cars:
  • Dior De Tomaso Mangusta (not part of the silhouettes)
  • Lexus LFA
  • '00 Castrol Mugen NSX (Gr.3)
  • Jaguar XJ220
Track:
  • Apricot Hill (in advance of the Toyota event, I think that track fits the best with the Yaris, but Road Atlanta is a good possibility using the short layout too).
  • If we're feeling really lucky, the Nurb GP Sprint Layout as well.
Features:
  • 2 new Menu Books, Classic and Modern GT500, to go alongside the inclusion of the 2000s NSX, and to finally have somewhere to race Gr.2 cars offline.
  • Car Selling (although even if its almost ready according to datamines, I still don't know if PD will put it in lol)

The Toyota cup has not announced the last car yet which leads me to believe we are getting a car for it.

They have announced the car, its the GR Yaris, which strongly suggests its a new track for the final round.

The TBD car event isn't until November, so I expect we'll get the Corolla or something in October or September.

Track is on the 28th of August though, so it must be this update.

Wasn't there a word about an upcoming "big" update this month, whatever it means? Time to be brave and optimistic with my predictions.
Let's say, we get 5 cars this time, and on top of it there would be Dior's Mangusta
5 cars:
  • Ford Cosworth
  • Lancer Evo IX
  • Lexus LFA
  • Pontiac GTO
  • Bugatti Type 37A
A track, Road Atlanta
Car selling
Some completely new feature
3 new Scapes locations
New set of missions
5 new menu books and corresponding amount of new races

I would never write all this if I had to bet my money on it though
