New Update New Swap Options/Possibilities! 😃

Since PD likes the "newer engine" old car philosophy

FC Rx-7 & R26b 787b
92 NSX & Type-R k20C1
R32GTR & VR38 Nismo
Shelby GT350 & Ford Test Car engine
Ford Mustang Boss 429 & Ford Test Car engine
Ford F150 Raptor & Ford Test Car Engine

New Engines:
Viper V10 Racecar engine
Porsche 911 GT1 Turbo engine or Porsche 911 GT3 Racecar engine or both
Mercedes-Benz/AMG engine

look at the rest of the options:

Belle isle park

Detroit street.
IMSA recently has released its Weather Tech schedule for 2023. Belle Isle was a staple shared with IndyCar for years; each no longer will race here. A new layout in downtown Detroit proper has been scheduled for IndyCar 2023; largely suspected due to Roger Penske's influence with IndyCar, Chevrolet and now IMSA.

Weather Tech will not share IndyCar's date on 2023 due to that time's proximity to a very special running of leMans. A lower class of IMSA cars will participate however (still enjoyable door-banging fun with manufacturer parity, concrete walls and sharp corners).

This is a virgin layout for its maiden event and likely never has been scanned. Its preview has been panned by many as unimpressive, but for a street track, layout possibilities are limited. It's running around GM's Renaissance Center is no accident. One curious aspect of the proposed layout has been to divide pit lane into left hand and a right hand segments, as space is limited with respect to the expected number of entrants. This should be interesting. I am excited for it though and would love its inclusion in GT7.

Question for the fellow americans here:
What does IMSA have to do with WeatherTech?
There's a lot tracks under weather tech in the insa site.
If imsa is in a partnership with PD, thats awsome, looking at the tracks they have there and prospect of them coming to gt7
They are the title sponsor for IMSA's main series, which is called "WeatherTech Sportscar Championship".

That is quite an interesting (and slightly optimistic) image. Very intrigued to know where they got the idea for the real world locations for some of those fictional circuits as aside from the painfully obvious, the others have been abit vague.

Wow that pic is way up there lol.

I think it's either: Grand Valley; Tokyo R246 or Apricot Hill. The latter is the most likely.. since

Leaning heavily towards Apricot Hill since much like High Speed Ring, its received an already modern appearance in the PS3 era (Same for Midfield Raceway, which could be another choice) so at most it would likewise receive minimal to no changes to it outside of bringing it up to PS4/PS5 standards.

Truth doesn’t come into it. It looks a lot like some GT fan was bored and decided to visualize some best-case scenario.
Yeah probably. On the top of the pic, on the gtsport part there are tracks missing.
Spa, laguna seca and autopolis all came out during gtsport's lifecycle and are not on the picture.

Is that real?
Are all those tracks scheduled to come in '22 and '23?
By this point I wonder if the OP of the picture is the same one as the one posting it on /r/GT - I had to remove similar posts they posted for being misleading (in sense they presented a wishlist as a confirmation).

Can I point something out that should be obvious to all. PD will be working to a DLC schedule agreed with Sony to maximise sales & workflow.

That could be 3 cars and the occasional track per month. Then a more significant GT7 2.0. Or even GT8. Whatever schedule they’re working to, no one is being lazy. Like all dev teams, they’ll be working flat out, while trying to avoid crunch. As should be obvious from so many AAA titles being delayed this year.
this true. for some reason people feel entitled as hell when talking about PD. They are always lazy and all kinds of bad things

@Doncarlone - As you all know GTSport updates already finalized. GT7 one just a dark mystery of 'i Wonder which circuits PD's NOT willing to give us?'

@Nielsen - 'best-BET scenario' for GT7, GT8 & GT9! combined. :D

Hoping GT7 receives atleast 16-20 circuits through entire GT7's lifespan.

I don't think this at all. I've been playing racing games since the 80's and imo GT7 is the best overall I've ever played and I've played just about everything for decades.

I remember playing Outrun and thinking graphics couldn't get any better, then Hard Drivin', then Chase HQ, Ridge Racer, Sega Rally, NFS Hot Pursuit 2, Gran Turismo, Wip3out, Ridge Racer Type 4, GT2, GT3 A-Spec, Outrun 2, Forza Motorsport series, Forza Horizon series, Grid series, Driveclub, Wipeout Omega Collection, GT-Sport........etc, etc....

GT7 is the first racing game in a long time that has genuinely wowed me. It has the potential to be the best ever imo.

Gt7, gt8 and gt9 makes way more sense. All of those tracks in gt7 only would be like 2 tracks coming out each month, witch doesnt seem possible.

If eight tracks come out, it will be a miracle!
