unv412,

err... what assumption are you talking about? I'm assuming you're responding to another post seems i can't make sense of it replying to mine (you just don't quote a posters name you're replying to so i'm assuming its to mine being the last. though i'm a fan no one badge hence you're comment not making sense hence me asking :P).

sorry bro! we must have posted a reply to Do You Race?'s post at the same time only you got in quiker! (my bad) If only you had referanced my post to the "holden fans" bit about the post you replied to, my post might have made sense.I will try to put posters name next time:guilty:

I agree there couldnt be enough aussie cars, however i dont think PD see australia as a massive market for them, so they may include a 'handful' of our cars. Lets just hope they make a better choice next time. Im a Ford/FPV fan but GT really should have the GT and F6's realative competitor from HSV.. not Holden CV8 and SS.
But hey if they want to throw them all in, im down with that too!!!
But really how but some (one from either camp) V8 Supercars! and just a single track...
BATHURST!!!

unv412,
cheers mate! glad it was a littel missunderstanding :)

At an educated guess whta would you guys think would be the market share for AUS? 250,000 copies? Thats 100AUD*250000. A cool 25 million. I think at even HALF of that, i'd gladly sit their for 24 months and draw as many cars for that region as i could! And if i CBF doing it myself i'd easily have enough cash to employ 5 others that would only work a 5th as hard as i would to do it for me and STILL have plenty of cash left over to buy just about everything to set me up for life! :P My point.. i think they could if they wanted to. They just don't think it thru. Surely someone their would be wise enough to say "ok we have sales of x amount in all of these regions we sell to... lets put some content in their to not only up our sales for those regions but als oto make those guy shappier". nar.. that'd be way to logical.

hoffy made a valid point, especially now days with focus on old aussie muscle cars and the money they fetch. This has the effect of captivating the over 30's market (those who cant afford the real thing) whlist also catering for the younger (11-30yo) market by providing a game/sim that can settle the old "my WRX/EVO/GTR is quicker than your HSV/FPV etc.......250000 copies easy!
Ps Ive got nothin against Japanese or HSV/FPV...I own a 1988 HR31 GTS-x Skyline and a 1968 HK GTS Monaro
