Lads,

Tonight's Race has been postponed till next Friday Night due to severe weather conditions

Sorry, can't make the race tonight - unexpected visitors :(

Hey grip,

I took a picture of you tonight, when I saw you in one of the rooms that I was searching for some good drivers to race against. lol ;) Unfortunately with no luck ....

Vendal, what on earth has come over you? Your post might have been appropriate if you were correct in your assumptions, but you have misread the situation. My unexpected visitor was my brother who I don't get to see very often and I came back to race after he had left - this was after the scheduled start time of ZR1 race so I went to race in my regular room in the remaining time I had available. I did look to see if the ZR1 room had started racing but couldn't find a room hosted by Greasy and Dbn had a room with only 1 other driver. It is a great shame that you didn't stop by in the '69 Camaro room and race with us, you would have been most welcome to try your luck against a mature bunch or regular racers whose main aim is to have fun with good racing and excellent banter. Maybe you didn't have the right car, but we would have waited for you to buy one and even given you a good setup. We do prefer participants to be miked up - racing with mutes takes away part of the fun - the howls of laughter are very addictive. We race a fairly limited selection of cars on a fairly limited selection of tracks which are all intended to create close clean racing whatever your skill level so that everyone has a great time. Racing is every night from about 7.45pm EST till late - and I believe they generally have some dirty NASCAR later in the evening after I have left. All the racers in this room are from Aus/NZ/US/UK - those who join from other countries are generally kicked without warning - we all hate lag.

Getting back to your cartoon - as you grow older and wiser you'll realise that it's always better to engage your brain before your keyboard else you might write something that makes no sense and might seriously upset others.

Hey Red,

Great to see your racing rig is close to its completion!

As this is the first race of the season you can qualify for the race as per normal,as you are a highly experienced and skilled driver.

Great to have you on board Red, see you on Friday night.

Cheers Vendal 👍

Hi Vendalism, saw you last night at the Mountain. Who was the idiot going in reverse direction.

On the last lap I hit him full freight down conrod, he bounced, but I kept going.

Even managed to get to third place.

But what I wanted to ask is about this forum and the races you have listed.

How do I enter?

I don't know if I can make all of them, Friday nights are not the greatest night for me. A long working week leaves me pretty stuffed. And I am an old man! Chuckle Chuckle!!

I am most interested in the Mount Panaorma round. Of Course!!

Cheers.

Looking forward to racing you again!.

Ian

@VENDALISM, Unfortunately I must step down from this series :(

I have conflicting arrangements now every second Friday that make it REAL tight to make it on time so I would rather not leave it in the laps of the gods and put anyone out by waiting.

The other Fridays have proven to be, in general, chaotic as well so it has really turned into a bad night for racing early on in the evening.

This does not affect the Monday GT500 series, I am having a blast in that and very much enjoying the high quality of driving from everyone, but Fridays are a no go I'm afraid :(

Cheers

Hey guys
I will start at the back tonight because i'm a bit sick & i have not done much driving lately due to building my new RICMOTECH racing cockpit & doing other stuff around the house. I drove the car for the first time today .
Just chucked on a tune & drove .
I don't wanna get in the way if i'm not up to speed.
Cheers redness-63 (;)

Ok I am in for tonight and hopefully the rest of the series. But my god that track line up is specially made to eliminate me. Especially this first track. I wear contacts and I really struggle to see the turns Daytona night, something about the graphical downgrade vs the day track and the contrast leaves some turns invisible to me. I'll give it my best though. Now to find a vette tune...
