Imo Hsv at 1180kg is on the money. Guys I like to remind you that after a long season we will exploit all cars and with success ballast we will see all cars perform at different weights. Lucky there is only 1 chassis that might be advantageous so not a lot of work to be done here. Another thing that may misrepresent the cars is drivers running very different downforce's.

Theres no reason to change anything. GT6 will be here in a few months and this season will be over by then. With the updated aerodynamic model all these cars should be close if we don't receive newer models. The funny thing is the cars up to 2009 had more downforce from the diveplanes. Those were abandoned from 2009 forward. Look at the HSV and you see no front winglets on the bumper. But the difference is the cars moved from 1900mm to 2000mm wide. The Lexus and Supra (premiums) aren't 2000mm wide but the GTR, NSX and HSV are. A wider car equals a wider track. Which equals better cornering. PD has work to do.

It would be nice if PD actually gave us a list of what is simulated and what is not?!. This would help people from over analizing things that may not be even simulated into the game in the 1st pl'

I don't think they modeled the cars that in depth. Theres no reason the Super GT's should have the same amount of downforce points as the R8 LMS. Even back in 2006, FIA GT1 cars were around 3-5 seconds slower per lap at Suzuka. That's with 600hp 1100kg Maseratti MC12's.

I might be able to meet up with 1 of you guys. I'm finished with my tire test so now its on to a setup'

I found a lil glitch a few days ago you guys will like. Trying it now with Joe and Zack.

Was cool but really glitchy! Anyways thanks for the practice session guys that was very informative. I know just what to work on now. 👍

I had a phone call in the last race, so thats why I was so far back.

I just had turned my fuel map on too. Zach's Yellow Hat turns in better than anything I've seen yet. I won't air it out but I found a qink in his armour. I will be looking to exploit that or else I won't have a chance. Looking forward to my FP3 on Thursday now. A tip to all drivers, don't fight in turns save it for the straights our risk slow lap times!

Thats strange because my YMS GTR dosent turn in well but has awd like traction. Hope I can make it after this week but diffcult.

Man, talk to your Team Mate; he ate up my 16 sec lead within 5 laps. Zach is probably the most aggressive driver on this grid so once he comes its best to let him pass and then follow him until he shoots the tires off that thing! No offense Zach :sly:👍

Thats what i did at Indy just followed Zach until his tires went off

Im sure he will be quicker in the GTR

Man were you annoying at Indy lol. Couldn't break the draft for the life of me.

Haha nobody's perfect Joe. I know some areas where I need to improve but never get the chance to race anybody :(

There's 4s between 2 of the 3 winning strategies here, spacing will make or break your race

And sorry for the many bumps. Getting used to the gtr size again lol

Edit: forgot about immortal. He was perfect lol

I tried the Z with my 40kg of ballast and was doing 35s no problem, that setup I gave you with the toe angles really lets that thing corner. I beat the HSV on my first lap with a 1:35.10x. Well u were there with me so you know. Ill be on later so if anyone wants some practice or see how to make weather on every track just find me.
