Red Bull Racing Paddock Club + Nissan Motorsports VIP :)

I had a friend record something similar from Cota with the same invite seating. I have to say know " he happens to me my racing kart buddy from willow springs " that went sorry I couldn't help myself know that all knows about willow springs now.

For spa dry qualifying. Race start 100% surface water, 50% weather, and change on 5.

These are the conditions for Spa. Just a reminder.

Also remember the tyres this round are RH and RM. RH takes the usual RM 8 lap rule

And this race is next week right

So hards have to be used even if it rains all race or only if you switch to a dry tire the rule applies ?

MAJOR CHANGES

CHANGE 1

Regs check will now be AT 11:45 for a 12:00 start bang on
This is subject to change. If we still don't get started by 12:00 then regs check will be brought forward.

CHANGE 2

No more 1 lap pre race. From now on drivers will line up after the pits before the race is started.

CHANGE 3

Instead of the 6 lap grace period where we can restart any time there will now be the following

IF there is a collision, WITHIN THE FIRST 2 SECTORS of the first lap, then If 2 drivers type caution then the whole field slows and we will do the rolling start. When 1st crosses the start finish line we are go again. 1st drives round at 60mph/100kph

CHANGE 4

No more waiting for connection issues. If a driver can't see another drive he has until 12:00 to fix this. If he still hasn't then 1 driver must leave.

This is as it really isn't fair having cars that see everyone and cars that can't see one another. When 2 guys who can't see each other drive, but they both occupy the same space and it complete throws a driver who sees them both. You will either not be able to see 1 car or they will be bugging out.

There will be no waiting for connection issues. The race starts at 12:00. I suggest you connect early and get it all sorted.

JOE, if you could make all the necessary changes to the OP please :)

I can be the Safety Car with the GT-R Pace Car if there's any incident (no kidding). Or I can drive the Denso SC430...

No pace car. The incident rolling start is a 1 off. If there's is a crash after the rolling start tough luck. If there is a crash lap 2, tough luck

So we not allowed to use rain or int tires?

Seems odd that we should have to use hards if we are starting on 100% surface water.

Well less sleep for me since we should all connect early. Body clock reset time.

And I want to ask what Skeng said, does the RH rule apply in every case even if it persists with rain?

You can use rain/inter tyres whenever you like.

If you use a set of rain/inter tyres then the 8 lap rule will not affect you. But you MUST have used rain/inter.

But everyone will be starting on rain or inters .

It might dry out and ppl will switch to meds , the hards wont be used .

I think if you switch to dry you should be forced to use the hards for the minimum laps

That would be right on the money. If the race dries with only 8 to go you must go hards to meet the mandatory tire rule. If the race dries with 16 to go then you do 8 on meds and the mandatory 8 flying on hards.

Lol I've posted the weather conditions without actually reading them.

Yeah if you switch to dry tyres with 9 (accounting for the outlap) laps or more to go, the Hards must be used

I think we should do it like in F1. When the race is confirmed on wet conditions, the obligation of using both dry compounds "disappears".

btw, is anyone online now Âż?

No one would use hard then

Okay guys official ruling

If you switch to dry weather tyres, aka the RM/RH with 9 or more laps to go, then you must use the RH for the 8 lap rule.

If you switch to dry weather tyres with less than 9 laps to go, the 8 lap rule will not come into effect.

If you have to abandon the 8 laps on RH to put on inters or full wets then that is fine

I have to appeal that decision or protest it , whatever you want to call it .

This is the first time this season we are using hards and it seems like we wont be using them .

I dont like that .

I said we do have to use them provided there's 9 or more laps to go... What would you rather? If it dries up then you must go Hards for the entire race distance?

Seth told me that he has run some mini races with those settings and said it doesn't stop raining 4 out of 5 times. It seems random, but to expect the whole race to stay wet. With 100% wet track and the weather it will not dry at least 80% of the races run at those conditions. BTW, he feels better now, he was on antibiotics for 10 days so hopefully the pneumonia is gone this time around.

To be honest, I'm rooting for a soaking wet race... if it stops raining, let it be on second half of the race, so the track doesn't dry completely...

I don't like that .

Only problem is each driver selected track, compound, and conditions. Its actually on the hands of the chooser when picking track to be aware of conditions conflicting their track/tire selection.

Congrats Seth that's a hard sickness to over come, and with that being said i am glad you were able to finally over come it! đź‘Ť

Now online and in my lobby.

Will be doing 2 fuel runs so if I don't speak that's why

Feel free to join and test

Shouldnt we be doing ssr5 normal instead of reverse ? Because of the pit entry/ exit concerns ?
