I would stay away from using the anniversary models in any series

I havent driven that much but i must say so far the gt500s feel easier to drive
Theyre no different to any other car except with more power, which you can limit just like gt5. The anniversary cars are going to be easier to run since they came for free. Its like saying the base models should be stayed away from because they lack a livery. Or that the Yellowhat GTR is faster when in fact its the same exact car as the calsonic but a different color.

If they have more power that gives them an advantage .

If you use power limiter to make the hp equal then im sure the torque figures will change , which would give the anniversary cars an advantage

This could be tested and proven either way

At the minute we have absolutely no intention to use the Anniversary cars.

Like Skeng said, if we limit the power this gives an unfair torque advantage.

For the first round at least we will be using the cars as stock bought from the dealer.

the gt3 seem to be well balanced after last nights session

Been playing a bit more , id say gt6 is easiert than gt5 but im not 100 pct sure yet

Cant wait to get to some racing

Really not a huge deal. I know from watching seth last season advantages were prevalent and members complained of the Z having around 500lb-ft of torque or the SC430 and Supra being 483hp compared to the GTR, NSX and HSV at 473hp. I just tested reducing power on the HSV anniversary to 493hp, it comes to be 365lb-ft.

Wanna know what the other GT500's make stock?

HSV '11 & '12= 493hp, 289.3lb-ft
NSX '06= 493hp, 433.9lb-ft ('08 @1150kg)
NSX Stealth= 542hp, 470.1lb-ft ('08 @1100kg)
SC430= 473hp, 376.1lb-ft
GTR '08= 493hp, 376.1lb-ft
Nismo Z '06= 493hp, 520.7lb-ft
GTR Stealth= 542hp, 433.9lb-ft (1050kg)
Supra '05= 473hp, 376.1lb-ft (1090kg)

The anniversary HSV's advantage is having more torque than the regular HSV  yet still not near the others in torque.

Trust me if you beat a normal hsv driver with the anniversary version your going to cause stress for the stewards , tons of protests

The racing hards feel so good the softs must be real heaven now

My friends have been using hsv at 493 hp (power limited) and gtr at 502 hp (power limited) - thats stock only oil change , no engine or turbo uPgrade

Still early days but we need a lot of group testing to get some good data

I need to learn the new tracks, im so slow on them

Trust , what is the pp of the anniversary hsv power limited at 493 hp

The simple solution is to add ballast to it like you did with the hsv last season. Not to mention it had the slowest acceleration and top speed. With the draft being fixed, these cars wont be slinging past as easy. That is definitely one area thats a huge difference.

Look. We have no intention to include the anniversary cars. For SuperGT and GT3

We will be running round 1 at factory specs and will go from there. It's early days but the cars seem pretty equal how they are right now.

Actually I was hoping to use the anniversary SLS AMG GT3, but that was only because the SLS AMG didn't come with a livery and that kills me. I haven't unlock the whole game yet to see if you can paint the GT3 AMG, but if they are the new stealth cars of GT6 then we don't need them. Everything needs to be regular and even all the waymout. I would suggest only using a anniversary car only if that car is needed because because rhe regular chassis was just a straight slug on track. Example BMW GTR from GT5. There was nothing you could give that car to get up to speed with the pack. In this situation the anniversary model can be the answer.

But hey at this point everybody write down their regs and we will bench test the closes ones in group racing that drivers came up with to give us the best shot at having the best regs overall.

BTW: This game is 🤬 awesome. So far 2 big 👍's at the moment. GT6 feels like they went back to the old GT4 car font size that was originally my favorite. I didn't like the smaller size cars from prologue or GT5. These feel like big shoe boxes again of GT4 again. Also the low speed cornering is faster like how it is on Rfactor. Like they said, " I can feel the difference immediately " we will he able to pull off more daring passes with this version so watch out for Zach when he is coming to over take now in GT6! O yea 1 last thing hitting and riding up on apex curbing; yea no problem now'

does your wheel work for it
also you should have the the anniversary paint chip so the standard car can be used

What tires should we test on? Race hards feels pretty good, I haven't tried any other race compound yet
hards feel realy grippy and i think any more traction and it may take away some of the fun and skill of gt racing

i also have twitter now so if any one would like to do some testing pm me and we can discuss on twitter as uni a bit boring at the moment

Ya I'm sitting here at work looking at the snow probably gunna leave early so I'll do some testing when I get home hopefully early

All tires options are open at the moment try what you like and don't like plz, so I can jot all data down and find patterns emerging.

I suggest the race for right now is to unlock and accumulate as most cash as possible. Not all the Super GT's & GT3 cars are going to make the grid. Realistically we can only add 8 teams per each series. So only 8 Super GT's & GT3's are coming aboard for Season 1. I wouldn't waste money on upgrading cars to beat the game at the moment. I would go after the race cars that are going to possibly make the 2014 grid. It's 4:13 am here for me in California, so I can't get the full list of eligible cars at the moment, but I will post all the eligible Super GT & FIA GT3 cars by tomorrow midday when I get to work, plus their old spec sheets. Once again Right now focus on beating the game and only buy Super GT's/FIA GT3's especially the ones you may want to represent on track. As founder I'm making it my duty to own all Super GT's & FIA GT3's before December is over even if I have to buy virtual cash to do so!

Hp Ranges for now are 473hp to 552hp
Tire Choices for now are RS, RM, RH

How are we going about choosing whos in what car? I'd like to drive the base model hsv but with limited credits early on I want to buy what i driving as soon as i can

Season 1 Drivers get 1st dibs on the chassis they drove for Season 1. I believe the list on page 1 is still update with car/driver combinations. As of now there are at least 4 if not 6 HSV's coming to grid to represent Honda (still in talks with Zach) so there should be room for you with a Honda HSV chassis. There are 3 sets of GTR's coming to grid confirmed already, and 2 SC430's coming to grid for sure already confirmed. We are still working out possible NSX, Supra, and Nismo Z joining the grid as well, but like I said most importantly we need more data on all the chassis. Most likely we won't have the full car driver line up ready for debate until late December. All Super GT chassis except the anniversary HSV & Stealth models are open for making the grid at this point onwards until we get our test season racing data completed'

I think we have some time , 4 - 6 weeks right guys ?

I just have the weider hsv now , i can prolly afford to buy one car every 2 weeks . Just dont have time to play a spec , i rather play with friends online

Once I buy all the Super GT's & FIA GT3's, I will gladly send them to whoever needs them to do private comparison testing before we launch our 4 race test series. I figure most of us will need all of December to purchase their cars and use up January for test season racing and then launch the official season 2 by the 1st week of February. Of course if we all can get things done quicker then we will speed up the process.

i dont think you can send cars

"I believe the list on page 1 is still update with car/driver combinations".

Not really... :(

We should probably choose cars a couple weeks ahead then so some of us can actually get them in time

"I believe the list on page 1 is still update with car/driver combinations".

The main page has the car/driver combinations from were we left off from completion of the last race for Season 1, plus the spreadsheets on page 1 also show the last drivers whom were driving their respected chassis at the close of the season. From just the spreadsheet information alone, I can tell you who has dibs on their cars. For example you get 1st pick for the NSX chassis. Me & Tyson get dibs on the Xanavi GTR, so on, and so on,.... If a new driver shows up and you want to switch from NSX to HSV you would have sonority over the new guy, and so on, and so on,...

There are a couple of the drivers that are holding seats from our last season, but have not raced with us or only raced once with us. I will filter those guys out for the guys who have raced more often with us. All & all there will be 3 sets of Teams per each Manufacture on the Super GT side so I'm sure everyone will get a drive they want. The harder seats to grab believe it or not will be the FIA GT3 seats.

Going off of what Skengdigi just said I think this would be a good time to check how many drivers are looking at a particular seat?

Ok Joe that sounds cool, I didn't realise it was still a good few weeks away yet. I should have a selection to choose from by then.
