I gave you last place pts because you made numerous attempts to join but couldn't. And also I put a DNS on your spreadsheet column so passing by spectors will know that you didn't actually finish the race in last place the way the pts only would of told the story. I know we all got reps out there! 👍

phil any chance of a quick peek of your setup and what time are we looking at for daytona
i have never raced here or at ssr5 in a series before

Good idea.

Ill practice with you through the week. Daytona tough for the first time. And you want a car that has no uncertainty in its feel or you gonna crash

Zach's hosting this round I have an epic once a year kart race coming up this Saturday. Pains me tho you guys will get your top mph #'s from Daytona which you will use at Indy, Monza, Fuji, and other tracks like Le Mans and such. 👍

Were racing California Speedway's whole infield at 2 mi in distance. We're geared for 106 mph in a shifter kart, but the track is very Fuji like wide so hopefully no incidents!

Damn joe that sounds awesome

I'm freaked out about it a little. I'm going to run my MG Red's instead of the softer MG Yellows. They have this MyLaps thing where anybody can see your times via MyLaps website. I think I'm going to Q as good as I can but start from the back and swap out my rubber to the harder compound. I have 3 major races this 1, streets of Lancaster, and Vegas so I'm not trying to be too competetive this year just simply survive and go for the championship next year! I'm just collecting data this year and bring my equipment home in 1 piece. 👍

Sorry guys Im gonna have to withdraw from this series... another family event just came up for this saturday and rather stay entered and not show up, as much as Id like to partake, I must realize I just do not have the time right now to participate in this series. Hopefully Ill have more time for season 1 or 2. Looking forward to racing with you all that do blancpain aswell

Looking forward to Daytona. Not going to do good on the straight in terms of acceleration, but should be good through the chicane and the infield.

Family comes 1st see you on track when you get back to us my man! :sly:👍

Joe I'll skip Daytona Road to concentrate on your FIA GT3 in LeMans... I'll be back for SSR5 :)

Hi everyone. We have a new rule for Daytona. There is absolutely no weaving your car back and forth in the 2 banked turns or the straights at Daytona. This rule might follow into all the races to come.

Absolutely. Any collisions will heavily penalise the driver who moved from their line

Pick either high or low and stick to it. I suggest running in some NASCAR lobbies (clean) to see how it's done.

We should be able to go 3 wide for the entire banking if everyone holds their line

That's called Dirty Nascar Will that you're talking about. lol
There are a few clean rooms, I drive in them some times. I love my dirty nascar though 👍

In the high 41s at Daytona with a couple cars. But going to stick with the HSV. I think tire wear is slightly better.
