Ok, sooooo......I decided to give this game 1 more chance and finally got a few of my cars to handle the way they did in Shift 1. Loved that game and was on many leaderboards in the top 100(most) and quite a few in top 50 and even 20. Yet I cannot even come close to the regional leader let alone world. Starting to really enjoy this game and the challenging AI. I could use a few friends to compare times with, preferably ones who use ds3 as I do. I only play 1-2 hrs a night if at all so I'm not that far thru the game. Wanna help me out? FR me - crash27wwjd - Thanks:sly:
 
I only recommended one :D

Sometimes I just go back to this events because they are the only ones I have a chance beating you guys (even then its a remote chance)

I just went after the national records actually :)
 
Oh noes! Everytime I start Shift 2 nowadays there is this notification "Romknight just beat one of your records"... "Romknight just beat one of your records" ... "Romknight just beat one of your records"...

YEAH I BLOODY KNOW HE IS A FAST LIL BUGGER, LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE DAMN AUTOLOG!!! :D

And now lrn2swm joined the party. And I still have Texas Times (got it :D) in my autolog...

Its hard to see that 1st place in many, many events... (emphasis on SEE) :P
 
I know... I got like 2 or 3 second places, maybe 5 3rd places and the rest I m happy just being in the Top 5, which is rare enough... and now you started to break loose again!

By the way, I really thought you wouldnt be able to beat my Delta Integrale Retro Hotlap at Brands Hatch! I sure as hell I wont... and you not only beat it but crushed it! AAAAARRRRGH! :crazy:
 
Just to say manufacturer showdown events are... updated :sly:

And because I can't say this many times. For now the Manufacturer Shodown event featuring the Reventon has a NEW WORLD RECORD

Thanks. It was almost perfect. Best lap ever on this game @Brno

But there's still a bit of room to improve... Lets see how long it'll last because I'm sure I won't do a lap like that again so soon if I have to try it again :(

Manufacturer Showdown. I'm not near my PS3 but I THINK its in the Green Poster. There's only one event @Brno so its easy to find.

You need the Limited Edition of the game though...
 
Oh, i had the base one so that's the reason why i don't see your record. Anyway congratulations, it's nice to see that in this particular section no one is better then YOU and they have to bring some big guns to take you down :sly:
 
Thank you both, but I know for a fact that records are meant to be broken. Its just a matter of time... I know this to damn well and that's why I enjoy it while it lasts :lol:
 
Tried old vs new saturday and beat my friend lrn2swm's records on the first five. Finally feeling good about this game and changing my opinion, really enjoying the challenge og the AI and chasing his times though mostly only get close. Then sunday I got about 45mins to an hour to play and guess what? He beat all five, ALL FIVE! C'mon dude, would it hurt to let me feel good for 24 hrs. Great times you posted but I'm gonna try and knock you down. Only got 1 back, 30mins trying to beat corvette time, still 0.060 behind:dunce:



ps: put out a few friend requests which will no doubt make me feel even slower.:scared:
 
Autolog really makes this game shine. Sorry I beat your records, but not really:dopey:

I had to give you more hell because you are from my home state although I am in South America now.
 
Very nice:lol: Autolog is what is making this game more enjoyable. Thats what I loved about Shift...chasing the leaderboard times and trying to move up. I might not be that fast yet, but I'm working on it. :)
 
I have not touched S2 on the PS3 for a while. I need to go back sometime next week and play some more.
 
OK you people are too freaking fast! Just did what I thought was a perfect lap in a Z06 on Modern Muscle Hotlap, I get through the 3 laps thinking "yeah got ya's!", and the friggin PS3 tells me "You have 'CLIMBED' to position 9" Yeah that's right...9..NINE!! I climbed!! ARGGGH!!!!!

Seriously....you guys rock. but at the same time...I loathe you!!!...haha thumbs up to all my autolog friends!

Yeah, and now I spend all my time chsing you two:ouch: Its what keeps from getting anywhere in this game.....lrn2swm beat your time @......RomKnight beat you @...blah, blah blah. 👍 Awesome though 👍
