Its so hard! The most I have achieved is 1.4 million. I just dont get it. I havent even gotten past Lave yet.

Not that I could see... Possibly, but I'm concentrating so hard I don't pay attention to any of the points other than the bonus. I noticed the number the multilayer is multiplied with increases after time, but that dropped back to 2000 without me knowing why (4x * 2000 for example. I had 6x 3800 at one stage) ...
The only differences that I definitely know of some enemies appear to have more resistance to some types of weapons and all the rocks move around faster - particularly on Elite.

Are you using the boost (L2) and your bombs (R2)?

Yea, I use my bombs often, i dont use the boost very much though. I think that i just suck at it.

Boost is a very quick way to break up big rocks. On Lave I hit the very first rock longitudinally with a boost before I fire a single bullet (or whatever it is). I come out on the other side with at least one or two weapon upgrades. On a few lucky occasions I wind up with an extra ship or shields.
Pretty much any time a large rock falls down I boost through it and fire back as I pass through.
Plus, you just get better with time. My first few tries I coudln't break a million, and then it took me a while to learn what works best for me before I broke 3 million. Once I got past that barrier though I seem to do well for a bit. For some reason, if I break 3 million then I definitely make it up to about 8-9 million.

Anyone here have any tips for Endless mode?
It's so bloody crazy after about 4-5 nukes that I have no idea how people go further. The red triangle things that come in mass towards you is what usually catches me out, and then the random metor showers... The bombs sometimes can't even keep up, so how on earth is it possible!
