Thanks for the update, im using the current version in the UK now.

Took a couple of re-connects to get it connected

So far started 4 races, (short events selected) but its only been starting Monza though?


Edit On the 5th race its started Tsukuba

Been stuck on "failed to connect to Sony's servers" for about an hour now. Anybody else getting this pop-up?

Edit: Nevermind. Just connected.

Stilling running great, But loading drivers etc is really slow, (up to 10mins sometimes) is there any way it could be speeded up or would it cause realiablity issues?

Edit: widget froze at selecting drivers this is after 2hrs racing, had to reload.
Iv also noticed that the longer the widget is running, it seems to slow down!

started up version 1.0 and had to switch over to U.S for getting the connection.
it was on dutch,..don't now yet if it get stuck on selecting drivers.

BTW
the log was pretty handy, that way you could see what time the race started.
 
Nice work Yonis. Had it running for a while now and so far no problems. No hanging on UK server. As Pretty Nice Guy has said, it would be nice to have some sort of enable log option in the prefs.

If you read Yonis's post announcing the availability it clearly states how to launch the debug window.

*If it's still getting stuck, you can re-enable Debug Mode by opening the gear menu in your task tray (Windows) or your menu bar (Mac) while holding down the Control and Shift keys; Debug Mode is at the bottom of the menu. Then close and reopen the Widget. Then you might be able to see what the problem is if it happens again.

v1.0 is working flawlessly so far. Driver Selection has been fast (although I am testing it on an account with a low amount of friends).

Awesome job Yonis.

Got it, thanks. Had no idea this had anything to do with yahoo.

Of course I cant get the thing to connect to my PSN account, so that was a waste anyway. lol

Actually I should say its telling me its having a server issue.

Ill just run these manually I guess.
 
The Can't Connect to Sony Server issue happens randomly. I had trouble getting on at first as well. I closed and reopened the widget a few times and it eventually started right up.

I'll try putting a race log of some kind into the next version. The debug window isn't really supposed to be a permanent fixture :-D

Getting this consistently on one account on the current version (1.0). Widget is titled "LOADING DRIVERS" when this happens. It also says 1/6 drivers in use, when I know 5 are in use. Maybe this is related?

After 4 restarts every 5 minutes, this problem went away and now it says 2/6 drivers in use (again when I know 5 drivers are in use).

Feature request:

Even if the widget is not actively racing (I'm doing a 24 hour endurance for example), it would be cool to still have info on my drivers/wallet. Maybe every 30 minutes login and check the money and display the avg delta per hour for Cr.?
 
Hi mate, could you make a guide for putting the debug window up for stupid people. I have windows 7 and can't find this option that your talking about to open it.

I remember this widget was capable of having figures over 20 million credits, where it's not even possible to do that in the game. Has this been fixed?

If I'm not mistaken, you could have a total of 20,000,000 credits stored locally, along with an arbitrary amount stored with your drivers online. So you could spend some of those 20,000,000, receive rewards from one of your drivers to fill it back up, etc. Does that sound accurate?
