I keep getting kicked off the server. I'm using the US server, may have to try another country. It sure is annoying though. I leave the PC/PS3 on all night, wake up and find I've run 2 or 3 races.

I apologize to those who keep running my Bob's. I will repay the favor.

I've found that the Singapore server still works well 👍

...
...
...Well that did it.

I haven't been able to get anything but the .9.x's working well at all.
Singapore fixed me though. 3 races in a row, no 'temporary server issues.' this is the first time a v1.x.x grinder has done that for me.

I'm having an awesome day.

I've been noticing that the widget will make multiple selections from the same PSN ID so as an experiment I set the option to free up at least 5 drivers. Its currently running a race with 16 drivers but does this mean that this will only work with people sharing 6 drivers?

Will try experimenting a bit more with this later to see if I can answer my own question.

widget ran for 4.5 hours last night before stopping because of a "temporary server issue". closed it and re-opened it and it's going good again.

can't wait for the next big update though!

I believe it shows that the more availability of Bobs, the faster the widget can pull Bobs within it's time parameters....

BTW, Singapore is Supersonic.........👍

just switched over to singapore....

but why did my total credits go from being shown at 14.5million to 12.1million?

edit: just switched back to U.S. and it changed my credit count back to 14.5m....

Exchange rate...

Poor Singapore has no people =x

Anyway its 1AM in Singapore now so perhaps the traffic is low..

Shall try again tomorrow to see whether the widget picks the full 16 drivers

the app worked well for me all day yesterday. Had it running through the night and woke with server disconnects.

However, I've restarted everything and now the app goes in a loop as if it's working, i.e. hits every step, reserving drivers, loading event, starting race, race ended. Over and over without actually starting my remote race on the ps3.

any thoughts? I just tried Singapore. No fix.

try going on to gran-turismo.com and manually starting a race from there. i had the widget doing the same thing you describe until i started one from the website. it seems that the widget will do what you are describing when it cannot find any other bobs to race against.

They do seem to take a while to update. I went from 20 million to 10 but they corrected eventually.

I'm having a problem with the application of this program,
it's not the program as fas as I'm aware

But My PSN seems to linking to one of US profiles and not my actual UK account that I use for GT5 so Gt.com doesn't register me ever playing it.

and I get temp server message in the widget.

Does anyone have any idea how I can swap this around? I've tried deleting the US profile.

How do you run the widget with the debug window open? I'd like to take a look at that. Not necessarily having a problem, just curious.

To start the debug window:
  1. Have the Yahoo widget running, not the grinder.
  2. HOLD CTRL + SHIFT then right-click the Yahoo widget taskbar icon.
  3. Select 'Debug Mode'.
  4. Start the grinder.

Great program so far!

I downloaded it yesterday and set it to run last night. It ran for atleast 8 hours straight that I know of. I left for work with it running and came back with a "unable to connect" message. So who knows how long it really ran.

Add me if you're interested in me racing your Bobs.

Run the widget with the debug window open (how to is just a few posts back) to see what it has done. If not, have a look at your log under the "Community" tab in GT5 or on gran-turismo.com
