2/3 drivers means you have 3 drivers available for use by other hosts (friends running remote races of their own). Are any of the people on your friends list also hosting races and maybe using 2 of your drivers?
You could try the Singapore server which has been much more succesfull for a lot of people. UK and USA do seem to be both busy and temperamental.
Do you follow the progress of any (attempted) grinder-run races on your PS3/TV ? It could be that when you reload the grinder, the race has actually started, despite it seeming as though it had not.
Just to check, are you using the latest version; v.1.1.3?Yeah. Basically if I run the widget I get it telling me 1/3 drivers are reserved (its trying to reserve one but it doesn't - just sits there)
If I close the widget and reopen it, the reason it says 2/3 drivers are reserved is because when I had the widget open before, it thinks that one is reserved.
Looking on the PS3, nothing is happening. Will try the Singapore server in a second
EDIT: Same problem with Singapore. Just hangs on Reserving Drivers. Debug log shows nothing apart from the usual
How exciting!

EDIT:
Also, have you tried starting the first race from the web site, then running the grinder once the race has started?
👍
How many friends do you have with Bspec drivers?Running the latest version off the first page. Downloaded it last night.
Ive ran it off the web and then connected Grinder, its connected and shows the race as running. Whether or not it will start a new race after this one is over is a different matter
Can anyone tell me what the Blue and slightly darker blue bar is? (across the whole of the widget behind "x/x drivers in use")
I think it might be my experience and the dark bit is my experience with my bobs rewards added. Is this correct?

Try adding me to see if it clears up. If it races just me and not your friend, that could help us figure out what is going on.Just the one. However he hasn't been online in over a week. And his driver is never in use as I can just go online and run the race from there fine.
Again, its got stuck on reserving drivers (this time after a race has finished)
Online I can run the race though

Hmm, a problem all of a sudden. States that my login credentials are wrong although they aren't, why could this be happening? Latest version. Worked up until yesterday.
Ok added, let me know when you've accepted and I will try
Accepted but I might not show up until the next race starts in ~5 mins.
Reserving Drivers...
Hanging lol..
May seem overkill but if you've not already tried it, you could uninstall both the grinder and the widget, redownload them and try again.
Also, check your firewall logs. When I first started using it, my firewall was blocking some comunication from Sony by misinterpreting it as port scans.
Have you checked that you can log in to the Playstation and gran-turismo.com web sites OK?
Have you closed the grinder and the Yahoo widget and restarted them?
As far as I'm aware, the glowing blue borders indicate the following:
The brighter bar (left hand side of the oval) is B-Spec level. When that bar is halfway across the width of the whole oval, ie: 50%, you are at level 40; 25% across, level 20, etc..
The dimmer bar (right hand side of the oval) is how much XP you have earned using the grinder (proportionate to your B-Spec level). (would like confirmation)
The dim blue colour behind the centre, 'x/x drivers in use' section is the progress of the entire race, ie: another progress meter.
You have to restart GT5 and the users who you added also need to start GT5 and go online since you added them before they will show up on the site. I just did that.Done, installed one 2 systems with no joy, OSX and Windows.
Turned off the firewalls lol\
Just added a load of friends who are all online with drivers free. Still hanging..

The Widget has entered testing phase, however. I've sent it out to everyone who supported development, either through donations or through hard work on the forums.
I anticipate a very quick beta phase and you will all have it in just a couple more days! :-)
Mostly correct... There is actually a display bug in 1.1.3 which is preventing it from showing what I intended it to show. 2.0 will fix that.As far as I'm aware, the glowing blue borders indicate the following:

Awesome. I just installed v2.0b1 👍 I moved 10 friends into "NEVER USE", 7 into "ALWAYS USE", and left 13 in "RANDOMLY USE".
First race and only the "ALWAYS USE" friends got selected (they must've had enough drivers free). With v1.1.3 I was lucky to get one or two drivers from these friends in each race, so I'd have to host several manual races each day to make sure they got used.
The new version just fixed that. Excellent work Yonis.
