B-Spec Grinder 2.5.2: Automate Remote Races

I can't seem to get any remote race working through the widget on either computer anymore. I'm not going to worry too much if 2.0 is out soon.
 
Anyone having issues with running Yahoo Widgets on Mac? I've tried installing it a couple of times and each time I start it, it doesn't find the standard default widgets and then when I try to add the remote race widget it just crashes.

Any thoughts?

I'm developing the Widget on OS X 10.6.7. Yahoo! Widgets supports 10.3.9 and up, but I wouldn't run it on anything less than 10.5.

Do you have any haxies installed like Application Enhancer, ShapeShifter, Xounds, those kinds of things?
 
mine worked for the first few days after installing it, but stopped and hasn't worked in over a week now, keeps disconnecting on me..but i'm not worried that much if 2.0 is coming soon, i'll wait and see if that fixes it first

Same. Loaded the widget on my home pc-WindowsXp. And it worked flawlessly for over a week. Started having problems with the PS-3 dropping it's connection that I have not yet resolved.I could reconnect to the PSnetwork, and the widget would automatically restart. Now however, even when the PS-3 is connected to the net, the widget gets stuck at temporary server issue. Today, I am racing remotely thru the GT-5 website, home pc off. So far (2 hrs and counting), have not had an issue racing remotely. PD/Sony goofing around?

Ive done this exact thing but still have the problem despite having more than enough friends with more than enough drivers available. I know this because my second account wasnt selected in some races despite my first account being the only account it was connected to.

gotcha. i know when i first encountered the 'reserving drivers' issue when i wen to start a race manually all my friends' drivers were already racing hence my conclusion.

it's certainly a bit mind-bending to catalog all the issues that could crop up during remote racing.

I'm running 10.6.6 and about to update to 10.6.7.

As for those other things you listed...I have never even heard of them so I wouldn't have them installed.
 
i have noticed one thing the widget will only get the information off the friends list of the players that are showing as active on the website, so if you have just added someone the widget will not pick their drivers (seems like their site is taking a while to update)

yep, thats been posted in the thread many times.
 
I'm having an issue with this widget. It's only allowing 5 drivers in a race 1 from my sub account 4 from my friends and 0 from my main. I have it set to at least 1 driver. Anyone know why it won't use the max amount of people?
 
wow I was very sceptical about this widget thing but I thought hell what have I got to lose by trying it....so 4 hours of auto racing later with not a problem in sight I'm impressed and would recommend it to anybody looking to earn credits hassle free:tup:

IMO this is the best thing to happen in GT5 so far :cheers:
 
Unfortunaltey the grinder doesn´t work for me, since I'm from Hungary and there isn't an option to connect to a hungarian server. Nevertheless, this thing really is one of the best inventions to happen within GT5 👍

You can connect to any sever, regardless of your location. Try again and choose any server you want; Singapore has been known to be very reliable for most.
 
I feel bad, the grinder has only selected the person who I promised to use in Remote Races 4 times in the past 40 races. I guess all of her drivers are being used.

The next version will address this. You can add them to the "always use" list so they will be picked from for the roster first.

Well I know the reason for this, its because she's doing beta testing and all of her drivers are being used.:indiff:

Is there going to be an option to get it to auto-grind just the one track? For example set it to only race on Le Mans as that seems to be one of the quickest races with the most money.
