Great widget! It's been a big help for me, even having just discovered it over the last weekend.

For those who may be having problems "Verifying Internet Connection", I am unable to ping store.playstation.com this morning. The other sites listed are all accessible. I thought perhaps Sony/PD is attempting now to block suspected B-Spec Grinders. I doubt that though, as I was also unable to access store.playstation.com via my Motorola Atrix 4G phone over AT&T's mobile network. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Funny enough, i can't log into GT5 My Home, but the widget seems to keep running races =D

I just got back online with the widget, so it appears just to have been a temporary issue with the Sony servers. I believe if you already had a session established with the widget then you were okay. I had logged out and back in on another one of my computers, which dropped the session and then had trouble re-establishing it.

I am having problems too for the moment: I cannot connect with the widget, although I tried several servers. I hope it is just a temporary problem.
 
I tried other Gran Turismo pages. Japanese, Hong Kong work without a problem any other is not even accessible. Except USA. Strange :\
 
It works again.

Strangely, each time I have a problem, it disappears when I restart my modem, but after that I read there were server issues.

I suppose I have to conclude that when a temporary server issue occurs, it blocks access until my modem is reset.

Edit: problem restarted after 1 race.

just got a pop up trying to log in after booting up the laptop:

!!!!! PLEASE REPORT THIS ERROR ON THE GTP FORUMS. !!!!!

The server redirected the Widget to a hostname outside of its security sandbox. The full URL it was told to go to is:

$redirect_url.replace('signout/',")

Please report where the Widgetwas told to go, and which stage it was at in the process. After you close this message, you will be notified of a security violation.
 
People, if you cannot log in to your GT5 My Home webpage, the Grinder will most likely not either..

Wait until the offcial site is back up again.

Squadjot as a reason, I can access eu.gran-turismo.com and select my country, but then I recive the follow msg

Well excuse me for being so rude to point out that if you cannot log onto to the GT website, you will most like not be able to use the Grinder..
 
I'm not having issues in the US as of now, though if users in other regions cannot log into their GT5 My Home Page, it stands to reason that the grinder widget is not going to work either.

Are you sure youre not running on an "old" browser session?, try clear your browser cache/cookies.

I hope not, because is a good way to make credits and play even if you/all are at work :)

But is possible that Sony may not want the all the fans of PS3 and GT5 play in sony's servers!!!! :S:S:S:S
 
Guys can any one confirm that can log on on psn network from the ps3?, just ask because i'm at work, and I don't know if my ps3 as any msg on the screen refer to psn login, thanks

Enjoy this level of automation while you can. Based on prior efforts to nerf both trade frequency and maximum trade value, I would not be surprised if a mass adoption of this widget results in similar nerfing of Remote Race functionality.
 
Currently at work. Just checked in via gran-turismo.com and my grinder (running on my home PC) appears to be working fine. Logged into Singapore servers, 1 Thread, 3 second delay. Been running since 8:00pm ETD last night.
 
Just FYI: I DEFINITELY had to go to GT5 My Home, log out and log in, before the widget would log in.

(Had Grinder stuck at "Verifying Internet Connection.. ", ..the moment i logged into the website, the Grinder logged in as well)

Edit: This was on my (Win764bit), on my other computer (XP32bit), i did not have to do this routine.
 
UK user here. Had to log out of Gran-turismo.com, log back in and then restart the widget.
Up and running again now! 👍
 
Mine's been going smooth daily, no log in problems, except sometimes a half filled grid no problems here
