B-Spec Remote Race Friends

I'll be honest I haven't a cue how this works even after reading the FAQ! I've got 3 Bobs all between 20-22 that I'm trying to boost up towards the X1. Looking at previous posts it seems I have to download the widget and host games so Ill do my fair share of that once I've got my head around it.

It's hard work of keeping track who's who, although strangely, when I fired up the remote races this morning it was still using people I had deleted the previous night!! Maybe GT has to cycle through the friends before it updates the ingame list.

I've experience that too. I cured it by:

1. Exit from GT5 to XMB
2. Deleting friends from list (obviously!)
3. Shutdown widget.
4. Restart GT5.
5. Restart widget.

I'm not sure if the widget maybe caches your friends list? Anyway, that process worked for me
