Or give us the Nissan Altima Supercars (both Jack Daniel's Racing & Norton Hornets).
Jack Daniels cars wouldn't make it as-is because of the alcohol sponsorship, they would have to change them up. Maybe just put "Nissan" on the sides or something.

roflmao I laughed so much at your astounding stupidity.
You need to get better at joke comprehension and trying jokes yourself "brah." Do not insult members like this. Also, stop the double and triple posting please.

After Zoidfile posted back stating it was irony I advised no hard feelings, forgot to apologise so have edited that and also edited my original comment to also reflect.

As far as comprehension goes yeah I was off on that today sometimes we have off days.

As far as the double and triple yep having a real bad day. So time for me to fold em for today

...Some GT Fans aren't exactly willing to wait for what-should-of-been-done to come later, or to pay for something that clearly should of been included from the start (i.e V8 Supercars for Panorama)...
Like I said, the wait is an unfortunate side-effect of the new approach that PD have chosen to take. I think more GT fans would be upset at having to wait for said cars to be modelled and all that before the game comes out. Point is, there are fans of different racing disciplines represented here. Whilst not ideal for everyone, I think it's a good solution - imagine having to wait another two years whilst more vehicle classes are brought upto scratch, such as rally stages and vehicles...and the list goes on.
For the second point, they (PD) included the Indy 500 race in GT5, with no Formula cars, not even the FGT. Without proof from PD that it will happen I only see history repeating itself honestly...
That was then, this is now - lots more DLC options and patchability which PD weren't committed to with GT5.

Yeah it's a bit sad. It would have been nice for them to include just one premium Holden to go along with the first Australian track (I think?) in a GT game.

I was looking forward to showing my dad who is a Holden fan and doesn't know about the track being included yet. Loves Porsches too, ironically, so I'm not sure what car he'll end up choosing to race on it now.

I couldn't care less about V8 Supercars. I want to race Bathurst the way it was first intended, with road going cars, like back in the day! It takes a lot of skill to wrestle a V8 Supercar around "the mountain", but it took much more skill and bravery to do all those laps in a car with drum brakes all around, lap seat belts, stock seats, etc. Not to mention all the other basic technologies, including skinny tyres.

I like them aolt and would love a '71 to '73 but there are tons of other Mustangs that should be in GT before those IMHO.
I disagree, the 80's ones were poop, the early 2000's were pathetic, ABS was a PREMIUM OPTION.. 71 had MORE horse power than the 72 and 73, and they were the ONLY muscle car mustangs. the rest are pony cars. In order I would say the Shelby variant of the original, the 302 Boss and then the 71, and then ewere versions before we start adding the original in or any 80's version.

If PD want to be smart, DLC should be theme based.

The current car list, as big as it is, is just a cross sample of many kinds of cars...

This opens up the opportunity to do a WRC, DTM, WTCC, V8's, in DLC packs... Some with tracks, like Austin might come with F1 cars...

Wishful thinking? Perhaps but that might be how I did it... Or one car from each series spread across many packs.

But a simpler solution would be at least 2 'base' models of V8s.

If Kaz wants to save the money from scanning the V8 Supercars, he could scan one car from each brand. 1 Holden, 1 Ford, 1 Nissan & 1 Mercedes-Benz.

Would be a nice surprise if PD are waiting for the Volvo to surface before we get all the cars. The S60 should be ready to test by next month. Couple of things, Volvo are changing their livery, Erebus are changing their livery and HRT are changing their livery. We wont see any of those cars until February. if no V8s until then, I can wait. It's only a couple more months.

If you think the '80s ones are poop you must be judging on looks alone those cars RULE the US aftermarket industry and are raced in pretty much very entry level series plus were in DTM. They saved the Mustang from becoming the FWD Probe. IMHO they are the closest any generation has come to the original idea of the Mustang. The '00s were awesome especially the '03/04 Cobras. I hate to break it to you but the Mustang always has been a pony car (it even gave that segment the name pony car)

Not that many relevant cars for that to happen in GT6 though...

No Torana's for a start

Torana, banana. I'm not the slightest bit interested in having Australian cars in Gran Turismo (because they're just not that good).

It's simple, V8 Super cars aren't popular enough globally, yet to be in a GT in full force. Heck, i'd be happy you guys got the Falcon.. And if it doesn't interest Kaz. You can bet it won't be in the game.. Not saying the cars don't interest him as a whole. to him it's just probably "Yeah, they're cool. But i think we'll just add a couple more GTR's instead".

I've got a '69 Falcon that I'm currently building as a strip car, but I would love to be able to drive some old Falcons around in GT6.

But there was some in previous GT games. GT3 and 4 IIRC.

I can happily deal without a newer V8 Supercar for a while. Don't forget we still have the XR8 that's been in the game since GT3.

However I would at least like the FPVs that were in GT4 back. And maybe a few new Australian cars. Even if it's just a VE/VF GTS and a FG GT or something. I mean we have 30 or more versions of the skyline (I'm not silly but we don't need 8 or so variants of the R34)

I don't ever expect to get some classic Australian metal in the game (XW GTHO Phase III, HK Monaro GTS, XU1 Torana etc.) but if it happened it'd be awesome (especially if it was the 'Last of the Big Bangers' VK)

Cmon PD just have a chat with Peter Champion. I'm sure he'd help you out with some HDT gear :D

Well we got Indianapolis without Indycars and Daytona without Daytona Prototypes, however like those two circuits, Bathurst runs more than just one series.

Daytona isn't know for the DP cars that have raced there in a miniscule amount of time compared to the cars that actually made it famous. Those cars are actually in the game (NASCAR). I agree with the Indy comment though because the two types of cars that made it famous aren't in the game.

And though more than one series is run on there it has a prestige that is only predominant to one. Mount Panorama has V8 supercars and all the iterations of the series prior.
