Further, what could be cool that hasn't been done before, dlc liveries of many cars, especially for spec series. I wonder if the licensing would be different.Agreed. An "Australian" pack could include a V8 Supercar or two, and their road going versions plus a couple classic Aussie cars like the XB Falcon.
The way I figure, in the same way as Nascar is internationally really only a niche interest, outside of Australia and motorsports geeks and nerds, there is relatively little want or care for the cars that race Aussie domestic championships. Mt Panorama, however, is highly desirable - hence we get the track and not the cars.It is kind of ironic to not have V8 Supercars with Bathurst.
Yes it is great that Bathurst is in the game and we have the 2000 AU Falcon Race Car in the game but to have the actual current cars that race at Bathurst would be ideal. What about being grateful for getting such a beautiful recreation of Bathurst in the first place?
I can tell you that I'm happy about getting the track but I couldn't care less about V8 Supercars. Never even heard of them before I started coming to this forum.
Yeah but always love the V8. Oh well all good, bring on Friday. Can't wait. 2 more sleeps. You do have the Calsonic R32 GTR which is the exact same spec as the Group A ones that dominated in the early 90s.
so you could care less?I'd rather have the FPV's included. Could care less about Bathurst
Yep not really a big fan of bathurstso you could care less?
But Nissan races in V8sThe way I figure, in the same way as Nascar is internationally really only a niche interest, outside of Australia and motorsports geeks and nerds, there is relatively little want or care for the cars that race Aussie domestic championships. The people demanded Bathurst for a long time, they were less outspoken about the cars. What about being grateful for getting such a beautiful recreation of Bathurst in the first place?

Japanese game, primary audience. But Nissan races in V8s
Super GT has tiny audience outside japan, but we get the lot.
Not that many relevant cars for that to happen in GT6 though...
No Torana's for a start
I'm a little disappointed too, but I'm hoping something shows up as DLC. I'd love this years Bathurst winner. A Frosty/Richards Pepsi Max Falcon, maybe Chaz Mostert's Wilson Security Falcon too. Although an XY GTHO Phase 3 or an XC cobra wouldn't be bad either. What about Dick Johnson's Greens Tuf XE? With those fat

Sorry, what can I say, I'm a Ford fan I can't help myself.
would be nice but really doubt it will ever happen.
This is like me saying. "I'm upset because they added Brands and Silverstone but no BTCC cars"
Also firemansam I am pretty sure the Ambrose Nascar is in GT6.
We do have the Bathurst RX-7 as well. I got to see both FD race cars at a Mazda training session last year.No old Australian cars, but don't forget many other cars raced at Bathurst back in the day, including the original Mini, Mitsubishi Galant and Starion, Mazda R100, RX-2 and RX-3, Mustangs, Camaros, etc. Bathurst was about racing cars very close to street-stock. That is definately doable.
