Bathurst track without v8 supercars ???

Even if we only got one current FPV car, it would be good to have one FPV BA Falcon. Just one to compliment the Commodore and Monaro. I guess it would be moot when the Falcon goes out of production in about a year and the Mustang takes its place.

Agreed. An "Australian" pack could include a V8 Supercar or two, and their road going versions plus a couple classic Aussie cars like the XB Falcon.
Further, what could be cool that hasn't been done before, dlc liveries of many cars, especially for spec series. I wonder if the licensing would be different.

I think other have mentioned this though.

The Hudson has raced a few times at the Mountain. We're getting one of those. Albeit, not in touring car guise. I can make due with a Touring Car Mastters series with the choice rides we have at the moment.

It is kind of ironic to not have V8 Supercars with Bathurst.
The way I figure, in the same way as Nascar is internationally really only a niche interest, outside of Australia and motorsports geeks and nerds, there is relatively little want or care for the cars that race Aussie domestic championships. Mt Panorama, however, is highly desirable - hence we get the track and not the cars.

What about being grateful for getting such a beautiful recreation of Bathurst in the first place?

I can tell you that I'm happy about getting the track but I couldn't care less about V8 Supercars. Never even heard of them before I started coming to this forum.

Yes it is great that Bathurst is in the game and we have the 2000 AU Falcon Race Car in the game but to have the actual current cars that race at Bathurst would be ideal.

Exactly dr Quin . Look I wish they would put more v8in the game but it don't stop it from being a Day 1 purchase for me dwnload V8 supercars or somethingand go hsve fun.

You do have the Calsonic R32 GTR which is the exact same spec as the Group A ones that dominated in the early 90s.

As cool as the V8 Supercars would've been, I see this as another great addition to Endurance races I look forward to (and if I'm honest, really hoping it replaces the dreadful Tsukuba 9 Hour race that I endured).

But Nissan races in V8s

Super GT has tiny audience outside japan, but we get the lot.

The Volvo 240 wagon will a treat if we can get the hp to 450+/-. We could make Mal Rose replicas

The people demanded Bathurst for a long time, they were less outspoken about the cars.

Japanese game, primary audience.

I reckon Holden, Ford (Aus), HSV, FPV & Aussie V8 Supercars should've approached Kaz & PD so their cars and championship (Bathurst 1000) can be included on GT6 and to be exposed to the broader car buyers and audience. This will boost the recognition of those brands and V8 SC itself globally.

I'm going to get in the Seton AU and drive the wheels of the thing, still a 5Ltr and lap times are only a few seconds off the current times. Just tune it right and it will be sweet.
I would love nothing more than a current supercharged GT road car in the game as I drive one daily but to be honest the v8 super cars are so far removed from the street versions who cares. It's all racing just go the incar view in the Seton car and think your in your in a current one if you think liverys effect your ability.

Still saying Red Bull v8 supercar on its way.

I'm a little disappointed too, but I'm hoping something shows up as DLC. I'd love this years Bathurst winner. A Frosty/Richards Pepsi Max Falcon, maybe Chaz Mostert's Wilson Security Falcon too. Although an XY GTHO Phase 3 or an XC cobra wouldn't be bad either. What about Dick Johnson's Greens Tuf XE? With those fat as rear tyres. Bit of topic though. Sorry, what can I say, I'm a Ford fan  I can't help myself.

Not that many relevant cars for that to happen in GT6 though...

No Torana's for a start

No old Australian cars, but don't forget many other cars raced at Bathurst back in the day, including the original Mini, Mitsubishi Galant and Starion, Mazda R100, RX-2 and RX-3, Mustangs, Camaros, etc. Bathurst was about racing cars very close to street-stock. That is definately doable.

would be nice but really doubt it will ever happen.

I know. It's a pipe dream really. On a related note I never got the AU Supercar in GT5. When it appeared in the dealership I wasn't a high enough level to purchase it. I saw it constantly until I became a high enough level to purchase it and I've never seen it since! Typical.

For another pipe dream, just because the Ford Nascar is already modelled, how about the #9 Stanley Fusion of Marcos Ambrose for us Aussies please.

This is like me saying. "I'm upset because they added Brands and Silverstone but no BTCC cars"

Also firemansam I am pretty sure the Ambrose Nascar is in GT6.

Edit: Re-checked the list, not there. Swear I saw it somewhere..

I only see the Edwards and Almirola cars in the list and Almirola is his teammate! Why one and not both?

We do have the Bathurst RX-7 as well. I got to see both FD race cars at a Mazda training session last year.
