It does look like the Tumblr but like it a lot.

Just found out who the voices in the trailer were, really cool stuff.

I found this on IGN commnet section. Pretty well done, me thinks.

From what I've read and seen some crappy quality leaked images, Joker doesn't have those tattoos in the film. Just some promo thing which I think backfired a little seeing all the hate it's getting.

I'm kinda surprised they went with the joker at all this soon after TDK. Who wants to be the guy that has to follow Heath Ledger's performance?

He's a major character, WB was going to have to move on after some time and get a new actor to play the character. Plus this is Snyder's rendition of Batman not Nolan so even if Ledger didn't die he probably wouldn't have played in these movies.

Also Leto is a pretty good actor and had many more serious roles than Ledger did before playing such a complex character

Also don't forget that any Batman interference is going to be kept at a minimal as this is Suicide Squad. At best, we might see Amanda Waller (previously seen on Green Lantern) interacting with Batman akin to Assault on Arkham, but that's it.

In other news, here is the first pic of Will Smith as Deadshot:

He's a good actor but Dead Shot not sure...

Actually, the Good part, I'm not so sure about.

Then again, "After Earth" was directed by Shymalan, so that's not all down to Will.

Will Smith is an intense actor... and he really throws himself into everything he does... but he can get a bit hound-doggy... errh... corndoggish? Whatever... and his action movies always leave the bad taste of shamelessly in-your-face product endorsement in my mouth.

I get beyond all that other stuff, it really comes down to was the role delivered in a manner that was believable and honest and carried out well all at the same time. Last time I felt he did that was with I am Legend, but Dead Shot is a weird guy and when thinking of a real life counter part, Will Smith wouldn't be on my mind. So ironically, that is where you ending statement comes in, I think they saw it as a product placement for marketing the movie while having a passionate (better word we can agree on) actor.

....Someone please start a Suicide Squad thread!!

Can you guess who's who?

Edit: REAL Deadshot.

Is that really Will Smith ?

....It's an official pic, so could be. But looking at the exposed fingers, I'm not 100% sure. Could be the lighting, the angle, make-up....I haven't got a clue.

New Photos (Source: Entertainment Weekly):

First is Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince dancing casually. If Bruce is 50, it certainly didn't show in this pic.

Next is something that we have seen in the teaser. Superman being worshiped by ordinary humans in Metropolis(?).

Second to last is a shot of Lex Luthor with a wig. Personal opinion is that the wig is a bit out of place.

Finally is Batman and Superman as they are about to clash. While the batsuit in this battle has been confirmed to have drawn inspiration from The Dark Knight Returns, expect kryptonite to be involved in the battle.

...Straight from SDCC!!!

I'M PSYCHED!!!!!

By the way, I'm a DC guy, so...my apologies. :embarrassed:

Edit: And a freaking Green Lantern Corp movie!!! DC/Warner's on the roll, eh? Apparently there was a Suicide Squad "trailer" too, but for the eyes of attendees only. Boo.

That trailer also reveals the reason why Batman and Superman are fighting each other (and before you get mad, no, it is not the reason expressed in The Dark Knight Returns)

During Zod's attack on Metropolis, one of the buildings destroyed was Wayne Financial. Can anyone guess who was there during the building's destruction? Bruce Wayne. He witnessed deaths on scale of thousands, and he blamed Superman for them.

I still can't take Ben Affleck seriously as Batman. What were they thinking?

...Well, judging by the "news" of Affleck directing the next solo Batflick (it's a word), WB clearly have faith in him.

Argo, The Town and Gone Baby Gone were pretty good, if I remember correctly...

Edit: before I slink off to the Night's bosom, I dug out the "leaked" Suicide Squad SDCC trailer. Not a good quality, but well, there you go anyway.

I lived Affleck in Argo. Liked him even in Daredevil. But he's not a Bruce Wayne.

As it turns out, the main critisism of Man of Steel is actually the main plot point of the Batman vs Superman!

The utter destruction at the end, if you ask.

This right here is what is going to help Afleck's case in this role. I want to see how he looks against Laurence Fishburn and all the other characters from Man of Steel.

If Wanye was in Metropolis, why? I can't wait for the explaination. This is going to be good.

It's not unheard of for Wayne to visit Metropolis in the comics - even in his own, standalone titles. Like in Hush. Wayne Enterprises does have business interests in the city.

Especially if said interest is Wayne Financial. You have to remember that Metropolis is sort of the New York City (even though in the 30's, Batman's first city was indeed New York before he moved to Gotham) so a lot of financial companies would set roots there.
