I was standing around in silk road today waiting for an easy SUAV kill and this guy tried to knife me but missed so I turned around and fired my GOL and missed so he knifed me from the from front and I ended up getting my first counter knife. That poor guy didn't know what happened :D

I'm pretty sure he knows what happened. He got counter knifed! Great feeling.

Strange that hit marker for the log seemed to be quite a distance away from the helicopter. Regardless that is an interesting and fun way to try and kill people.


On a side note, I now own the X1 and BF4 so I will be playing this weekend. Maybe tonight if I am lucky.
 
Someone figured out how to team kill in normal mode and killed me by the bomber station to ensure I didn't make it. The funny thing is I decided to go back and take it to put in that guy's face and I got it while five or so people were huddled around it :lol:. I was originally there to protect those guys and get some kills because the enemy team liked showing up and killing everyone by the bomber station.

P.S. of course it just said 'KIA'
 
Yeah, line up vehicle and bail before hitting them.

Edit: In the games I played this morning, hit detection and latency was all over the place. There were times I saw my shots make contact and no damage resulted from it, and there were times where I saw my bullet miss by a few feet and it registered kills.

I just finished a 3200 ticket metro conquest game that went on forever. They had it then we got the upper edge and were in the lead then they took it back and things flipped pretty often and on top of the 100% points, I threw my own 100% on top. It was unlimited time and went on for well over an hour and a half. In the end we lost 156 to 0 considering the 3200 ticket start, I was worn out after that game.

Not counting my limited time at my brothers house... I finally had a chance to play BF4 on MY X1 setup yesterday and I was just blown away. What a massive difference from BF3. Really not even comparable. Such an epic experience especially at 60FPS. Instantly noticable how smooth the game runs and the audio is also excellent. I will be buying the season pass for sure.

My very first game I was riding in a helicopter and trying to figure out how to jump out. While I was trying that a helicopter started attacking us. I pulled out my rocket launcher, aimed about 6 helicopters in front of the enemy chopper, fired and pow took out the helicopter. COuld not believe it. If I had kinect hooked up I would have yelled "xbox record!" haha

I had to leave mid game to join a friend in F5 so I wasn't able to check my stats at all. Really looking forward to putting more time into this game.

Its so fun when you get great games like that. Had a few of those on Wake Island in BF3.

I was repairing a tank and I am guessing the player was saying "thank you" through the Kinect because commands popped up in the upper left in blue saying "thank you". It also voiced the "thank you". I thought that was really awesome and immersive. I need to search for the Kinect command list for BF4.

My Kinect is not hooked up yet but I found a list of some of the commands.

Or you could just press the commorose button right trigger, R1/bumper. Probably advisable if your squadded up with freinds and you dont want to keep yelling kinect commands at them all night lol.

Anyway, used the last few hours of double xp this morning to get up to 129. About 700,000 points and I've got my well earned prized bucket :)

You could go to Battlelog and check your latest played games. Maybe it's there, not sure. When I played on PS3 and the game froze (disconnect), the progress was saved and up on Battlelog.

Played some games with a good friend, his flying skills are pretty nice. Especially if you keep in mind mine are not... We had some fun with dropping me behind enemy lines, killing them and picking me up again. While I was doing that he was giving me air support. Also had a chance to get in the AH-1Z with him, me as cannon shooter. I found it pretty hard to shoot at other choppers with my pilot flying in circles and avoiding getting shot. Doesn't help you don't have a lot of bullets in one chamber, and the reload time was a real pain..

I'm downloading the update from presumably ages ago as I type... I suppose I might be able to play tomorrow, let's see how long I last this time. Last time it was about a week, I think.

Edit: Just played a few rounds of TDM with the SKS, SVD-12 and CZ-805. I still love DMRs for their ability to embarrass snipers, I have no idea why they think if I hit them once or even twice I might not hit them a third time... Also I had the usual rigmarole of being accused of camping despite having killed the same guy in different locations each time, then being able to track him down reliably because he himself was camping. Oh and he also tried to tell me I was lagging even though my ping was under 50ms the entire time. I just think he didn't like being killed by a DMR at assault rifle range.

Next I'm going to try and unlock some attachments for guns I've hardly used, starting with the M16A4, PP-2000 and ACW-R (equipped on both Support and Recon because I hate LMGs). I have a whole load of PP-2000 attachments from battlepacks so I won't have the initial teething problems, but I have absolutely nothing for the ACW-R. I at least have a suppressor for the M16A4, though.

Tried a bit of the campaign but you can't change the FOV. I thought ok no probs I'll search for the setting or a mod and I find tons of threads asking the same thing with some saying the devs say you can't change due to animations :LOL: There was some flawless widescreen 3 monitor mod that might do something but this doesn't apparently work anymore. I'm astounded you can't change it in singleplayer and there's nothing more can be done. I can only play the console FOV for a short time.
