I'm downloading the update from presumably ages ago as I type... I suppose I might be able to play tomorrow, let's see how long I last this time. Last time it was about a week, I think.
Edit: Just played a few rounds of TDM with the SKS, SVD-12 and CZ-805. I still love DMRs for their ability to embarrass snipers, I have no idea why they think if I hit them once or even twice I might not hit them a third time... Also I had the usual rigmarole of being accused of camping despite having killed the same guy in different locations each time, then being able to track him down reliably because he himself was camping. Oh and he also tried to tell me I was lagging even though my ping was under 50ms the entire time. I just think he didn't like being killed by a DMR at assault rifle range.
I really need to spend more time with the DMRs. I always end up ditching them quickly because I do not take the time to adjust how I play to better suit the weapon.
Next I'm going to try and unlock some attachments for guns I've hardly used, starting with the M16A4, PP-2000 and ACW-R (equipped on both Support and Recon because I hate LMGs). I have a whole load of PP-2000 attachments from battlepacks so I won't have the initial teething problems, but I have absolutely nothing for the ACW-R. I at least have a suppressor for the M16A4, though.
I have been using the ACW-R a lot lately and it is awesome. The carbine is an absolute buzzsaw in close quarters. The high fire rate ensures plenty of bullets on target and the very fast reload helps keep magazines topped off. Being a carbine, the damage dropoff at range is noticeable. With multiple, very short bursts, the weapon can reach out and hit targets. However, moving to a closer range is advisable, as the weapon is ill suited to longer ranges.
The M16A4 is another weapon I have used recently. The weapon could be better. While my Kills/Min is quite high with the weapon, it has caused me some deaths, as I am able to hit the fire rate limit much too easily and consequently no bullets are shot because of the fire rate limit. Outside of that issue, the weapon works pretty well. After a certain range, it is better to switch to single fire, as the third bullet will nearly always miss, the second bullet will miss much too often, and precious ammunition is wasted on multiple bursts trying to land bullets on target.
I do not think I have used the PP-2000 outside of the Test Range. Just checked and I have not.
How?, did you lose the bipod attachment for your knife to?
Expansions. Prior to Naval Strike, I was at the level cap. With the release of Naval Strike and Dragon's Teeth, the level cap has increased 20 levels and I have not kept up.
