Battlefield: Hardline

I picked this up last night, played one mission, and fell asleep with the game on  I was buzzed and tired, no fault on the game.

Got to Episode 3 right now. I started the campaign first because I haven't played a BF game in a while, so I needed to re-introduce myself to the mechanics. The stealth take downs really consume your time, especially when you keep failing and you don't want to proceed until you arrest that one damn guy that has a warrant but he's surrounded by like 20 guys.

My Battlefield Clan is Recruiting members right now so if you would like to like to join PM me on here or add me on my PS4 for a tryout. We are a team that works together and likes to have fun in the game but at the same time take it serious. We Mostly play Hardcore Servers. You will rarely catch us in the Normal Servers.

Clan NAME: Street King Syndicate (sKs)

Here is our clan on Battlelog: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bfh/platoons/view/306508701386261940/

You must add me first before you apply to the clan so I know who is applying because im not the leader of the clan. So please get with me and we will play a couple of games and see how you play and how you work with the team. YOU MUST HAVE A MIC!!!!.

Have to say that after the poor start that BF4 had and the time it took to get right I was nervous, however Hardline has 100% restored my faith.

Excellent game and hotwire is simply an excellent mode, also love VIP and Hostage modes as I've always had a soft spot for single life modes.

I think I am on ep 6 or 7, but there have been times where I want to go back and do some episodes over again, but I don't know if it would cause problems later down the road.
Anyone tired doing a restart on an episode?

I just finished my "Hardline" difficulty campaign playthrough and I restarted a few episodes because I missed a few pieces of evidence (I've collected 100% of the evidence now) and it didn't cause any problems at all. All associated trophies popped just fine too. I may actually get the platinum for this game, I've only got two trophies left. One for 25 take downs with the T62 CEW in multiplayer and one for the 25 kills with the MAC 10 and Double-Barrel shotgun in multiplayer.

Yeah I notice a lot of retailers offer some incentive after the first week of release. But luckily this game has already proved worthy of the price I paid. Now since its cheaper, you can pick it up  to roll with me @ImaRobot and @Frizbe aka therealjfraggleRock, though he only has a few hours left so time is of the essence!

Well, this was a fun round. I saw TotalBiscuits review of BF:H and I must say I couldn't disagree more. Less options is sometimes a better thing, and that certainly applies in BF:H. There are a lot more people actually playing the objective than in other titles, at least on the servers I visited so far. Sure, the unlock system has room for improvement, but all in all I'm not bothered by it at all. I just pick one weapon per class/faction to specialize in and that's it. As for BF:H being a BF4 rehash: I skipped BF4, so to me it appears more fresh than to others I guess.

One thing I'm really liking from this game is hit detection. It certainly seems much better then it was on BF4.

I'm saddened that they removed the shooting range though. I always liked testing out my custom weapons before using them, to find out if its horrible or not. I also hate that they only have a side profile for scopes in the customization menu. I wish you can actually see what it looks like head on.

Those things will possibly come at a later date. It seems like the simplest of things always take the longest to put into new games now.

I would hope so, because not only was it somewhere to test out my new set-up, it was also a place for me to comfortably try to pilot a Heli  I never want to do it in a public game because I dont want to disappoint everyone when I crash, upside down, 30 feet from spawn.

Next time we play, give it a go. Perfect time to practice since it just released. And I dont mind practicing my PEP....Parachute Escape Procedure.

:nervous: Yeah I guess I'll give it a try

Also, I'm not colorblind, but I enjoy using the different colors in the options  Does anyone else switch them for no reason?

After playing for a few days, I would have to say my favorite gamemode is Hotwire. I have become pretty good with the C4 traps and occasionally dropping one in front of or on a pursuing vehicle while in a car .

@Oso Actual was doing this the whole time we were playing. I would be the driver and he would be passenger. There was a couple of times where he threw it on top of the car on accident, blowing him self out the window in the process. It sucks though because when I saw it, I was yelling at him not to blow it up, but I didn't notice my mic was off :(

I just realized last night that you can interrogate someone after you tase them. Wish I would have known that a couple of days ago, I had tased 3 guys in a row.

I know the cons of using a suppressor, but man they seem to really nerf your gun like crazy this iteration. I was doing fine with my MPX, and as soon as I equipped it with a suppressor, I was just doing horrible. I think I might be ditching suppressors this time around. Well, at least for the sub-machine guns as I haven't tried them for other weapons yet.

I tried a round of Heist by myself last night.. Never again. I need cooperating team members with that play mode, as everyone seems to be idiots.

Also holding down the menu button, select for old timers, you can tag your emblem! I leave my mark everywhere.
I just found this out a couple of days ago as well, although I always forget as I'm playing.

Thanks for ditching me yesterday!
