When you are in a vehicle, you end up firing many more bullets than as an infantryman. All of those vehicle bullets count towards your overall accuracy.

Just checking my previously played games, and I play in vehicles a lot, I have not seen 0% anywhere
:odd: Are you shooting a lot with those miniguns?
Nope. Was only shooting when I could hit something. Missed some shots, but not that much...

Weird. Especially with 2.0 KD that round.. I'd keep an eye on your next games and see if anything like this happens again..

Decided to practice with the sniper gun again. Used a 20x scope with the starting sniper gun. Not using a bipod either. Just a through bolt or whatever that's called.

WOW last night I got a 1,149 meter headshot on Paracel Storm!!!!!!!:eek: That is the longest headshot I have ever achieved in any BF game. Video is in my xbox.com profile.

1149m headshot... without a bipod?

Did some more vehicle usage. This time in a J-20 stealth jet. Battle report for that round showed I had 6% accuracy, which was probably boosted by my using an assault rifle for the last half of the match. I'm just rubbish when it comes to firing autocannons from vehicles.. not that I'm too concerned with that. As long as I still can get my 10-20% accuracy from regular weapons, I don't have an issue with shooting things. Just was curious as to why my overall accuracy was steadily declining when most of the weapons I had used were above that accuracy figure.

That's a pretty awesome headshot!! My longest is 158m  I think with an RFB.

Had a pretty nice game just now. It started pretty slow with only six players till we got to 500 tickets. We were behind by 150 tickets until some guys joined my squad and followed up my requests very well. And one guy that was in my boat now and then was constantly fixing my damage so I managed to kill multiple other boats and choppers, that was really nice. Most of the times they just jump out and run for their life's :irked:

No rangefinder either and they weren't near a flag for you to use as a distance reference, that's impressive. I only tried to do long range headshots to unlock the FY-JS but my best is under 950m I think, that was on Operation 'Guaranteed to find people camping on the mountain opposite yours' Firestorm. I was using the CS-LR4 with the 20x and rangefinder, bipod's not necessary because once you work out the scope markings you can get a headshot with your first shot every time. I don't know if you get them on consoles too, but snipers only TDM is a great way to grind through sniper rifle unlocks.

I was good with sniping until BF3 when they added in the scope sway. I find it boring staying in one place for any entire round just to get long range kills. Last time I was superbly effective with a sniper rifle was in BC2 when I went 21-0 just by staying slightly behind the main battle areas on Arica Harbor during a game of Rush on the attacking team. Far enough away to not be seen, but close enough to see most of the action.

Now my style is to get somewhat close to the action with a lose powered scope and try to remain mobile. Plus it helps that I'm semi-decent at hip firing with everything.

Thank you. I also don't like to sit in one spot and snipe very long. So I don't see myself ever using a bipod. Never did in BF3 either. I only snipe once in a while if someone says they are having issues with a sniper. Most of the time I am an engineer taking down land and air vehicles while capping objectives.

Last night I was standing up, strafing to the left, and I got a headshot on a helicopter pilot while he was moving full throttle!!! That was my first pilot chopper kill in BF4. Even impressed myself with that shot. I sniped at least 8-10 pilots out in BF3. That same round last night I sniped a guy out of a fully moving boat too. Overall decent night against a REALLY tough team. Actually seen one of the best chopper pilots in BF4 last night. Guy was incredible, and frustrating to deal with.

They can do minor damage if they hit directly. Just like 40mm smoke grenades.. which I trolled with many times.

Just like I got done roadkilling on Golmud with the VDV Buggy. :D 8 of my ten kills were roadkills.

Yes some pilots are absolutely incredible......and frustrating to deal with. I HATE trying to deal with good pilots in Flood Zone. In fact I am starting to hate that map more and more every time I play it. Its one of the few maps I actually hate playing. Good helicopter pilots just dominate that map. :ouch:

That's why I love Flood Zone, when I get bored of being sniped and cheesed to death by cheap easy mode loadouts (basically any of the high ROF assault rifles and carbines or bipod-mounted LMGs that spend their entire round trained on a single doorway while the owner glitches through something to make themselves very hard to see, let alone hit) I can just hop in the absurdly OP scout chopper and exact my revenge. I genuinely feel a bit guilty when I do that, but, well, they mostly deserve it.

I still don't understand why the stealth jet is an option on Dawnbreaker, but that map is great for the scout choppers. Got bored during a round of obliteration so I grabbed the scout chopper and started flying it through gaps between buildings.

Then again, I flew them through the tunnel at Damavand Peak in BF3 as well... and drove ATVs through multi-level buildings since BC2.

Havnt played since I hit max lvl 130 a few weeks back, Waiting on the big patch now to give me a reason to start playing again.

Patch should be in the next few weeks hopefully. I might take a break until then as well. Either I've burned myself out on the game and my play has fallen off, or the game has gone bad again.

It's probably me....

Impressive

Well I have a new fav passtime. Boltaction only servers. Darn you @neema_t for introducing me to it. When I jumped in your game I wasn't even aware of the game mode. I love it 👍

I like them because, well, it's fun and you can grind sniper unlocks quite easily, in three games I got my first service star for the CS5 so I moved on to the SRR-61. Pistols only is quite good too but I fear now it'd be overrun with skill cannons (i.e. Desert Eagles) so it's probably not as much fun as it used to be, I played REXs only with a group of friends once and that was hilarious.

Started out a round of obliteration by obliterating a scout chopper with a TV missile from an attack boat. Had 2 kills before anyone else had done anything.

I used the Magnum and the REX interchangeably in BF3, but now with the weird delay on firing them, I stay away from using them.

Just started using tv rocket a couple of days ago. Pretty awesome thing but hard to go after jets or fast moving things in general. Got a f35 though he was flying over me really slow and going after another boat so I just aimed and poof :D

I have also never understood why the stealth jet was added to Dawnbreaker. It makes little sense to add a jet to a map that is all tall buildings. Maybe the thought was they should be added to destroy the attack and scout choppers. However, a moment's thought says that makes little sense because of the tall buildings. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have not tried a sniper only server, but I have played quite a bit on pistol only servers. The Desert Eagle has pretty much ruined pistol only servers. Pistol only servers previously had a variety of pistols in use. Now it is people who have the Desert Eagle and people who are trying to unlock the Desert Eagle.

I was on a pistols only server yesterday that had 'banned' the Desert Eagle and Unica 6 (which is unfortunate as I was there hoping to unlock the Desert Eagle...), here's the link. It was pretty good, actually, especially as it wasn't Locker only.

I've only got about seven of the 20 Unica headshots I need (out of 22 kills), so far my tactic has been to flank around to popular sniping spots, use my MAV to make sure they don't have a motion sensor nearby and instead of getting an easy knife kill, I get an easy Unica headshot. It hasn't worked out every time, though. Also I die about 90% of the time I actually try to use the Unica against an enemy who knows I'm there, and on maybe one of those occasions I've managed to get a headshot kill.

Anyone with decent audio is going to hear you running up on them.

Just did a session where I made it a point to go through the weapon list and get a kill with each one. Was less difficult than I thought it would be. Still some stuff left to get kills with. Hoping the M320 flashbang and lvg work similar to the smoke. :D
