Battlefield: Hardline

I had to rrestart my computer for it to stop crashing.

Anyways, I played like 4 rounds of conquest and so far, it's not that bad. I'm definitely enjoying it, though I haven't played a Battlefield game in a long time.

I can't find the link to the beta, it's 4PM here, are the Sony Californians still asleep?

This game definitely interests me, especially when I heard jackfrags say that you can buy any weapon you want with in-game cash, whenever you want, as long as you have enough cash. That AWM looks fun. :mischievous:

However, I won't play this because I do not support EA.

I love Hardline.

The heist missions are borderline Payday without AI, better Gfx,...

Yes you can buy "any" weapon "any" upgrade. You open them batchwise, with enough kills, once open you can buy the one you like and not grind through

It has a bit of a Bad Company vibe, and that is a big big BIG plus in my books.

Weapons feel great and the sound, OMG, the AKM

Very cool game, and even though, MMO, it's gonna be a buggy start like every last BF, but it's now on the preorder

The AWM is amazing. First gun I bought. 👍

How long did it take to get that much cash and what is the average payout for each *round?

*Not sure what the correct term is

Depends how well you do

My thoughts... Well.. Its quite a great concept. The sniper is a bit underpowered though... like 5 hit markers in the chest -.-.

What? All of my sniper kills have been either one or two shots.

Dan, why aren't you supporting EA? They've really turned around, recently. Only gripe I can think of is the release of No Limits.

Taking a massive dump on the NFS series in general, needing to create an Origin account to play (I made one for the BF4 beta, but I forgot my account and password. Why can't I just play on PSN? Why do I need to sign up for another service?), and trying to ruin the modding community so they can make more money by forcing people to play new games.

It's rather a how much per minute concept. It's like the points in BF4.

I get around 10-15k a round, and am not the best player

Woops. I guess over time i got the hang of it and was nailing 1 shot kill "headshots" and went down to two shots. I guess it was poopy aim.

It's fun, but it's incredibly hectic. I prefer Hotwire and Heist because the smaller player counts allows you to have some form of strategy other than "shoot people with Doritos over their heads!"

I always find it interesting that you have people complaining that it should be a DLC, or that "It's the same as BF4," while at the same time, there are people also complaining that it's too different and doesn't deserve to be called a Battlefield game (citing the lack of destruction, the general theme and the gameplay). I just find the entire game to be entertaining. It's got a Bad Company-esque humour to it as well. The whole premise of police having full-blown arsenals (even after restricting LMGs and rocket-launchers as battle-pickups) and the array of easter-egg spots (i.e. flipping the bird, "That donut looks delicious!") and reloads.

Anyone else not being able to log onto the EA servers when they boot up the beta?

I tend to stay away from the larger playlist as you usually get a bunch of people not playing the objective. However, I do dabble every once in a while if I'm just not to serious about getting things done.

Havent downloaded this yet, but hopefully I can soon.

The heist map is heavenly police sided imo. The police always win from my experience. Also, I feel like hotwire is really boring. Once you're driving one of the flags around them map, barely anyone ever goes for me.

Having a lot of fun with the Beta. It just feels 'better' than BF4, especially sniping, which I'm having a lot of fun with.

When the first beta was released I had some fun but wasn't sure about the game mode. Was happy to see conquest now but if that's all I'm playing then maybe Bf4 is enough..

Had fun again though, but the weapons, is this it or?
