Gonna need around 5-10 minutes. Had to turn PS3 back on.

Edit: For some reason, it said, "Entry was refused due to network incompatibility with the room host. [1719]"

Edit 2: I will not be able to join, thanks to the error. :/

Welcome to Beav and Ameer’s Joyride Crew!
This is a club created to quench your need to get out of your house and go for a (virtual) cruise. You can go with some friends, or you can go solo. Just don’t find yourself going 50 over the limit, or you’ll see cops in your mirrors. If those two things are what you wanna do, this is the group for you!

1i-20PbXXrsYJPdazeFqfDj4L12X-h7mJOG5eSiMVIZ_JrDFtdqHYEAxsyBRbNw2MU6ZiGULhZXk1nsX4B3aWBGKcZxmpOBePARVTCkpmhT56Rs-4lyvW70g4NMvk7eFYQ

In this club, the word 'Joyride' means cruise. There are three different styles of Joyrides as listed below.

Real Joyride: Real Joyride is basically a realistic and relaxing cruise. You can choose to drive anywhere you want with some friends or by yourself. There are no cops or racers, everyone is a civilian. If someone is caught speeding or breaking any laws, they may be removed from the session without warning. Please try to drive realistically. This is not a "do whatever you want" type of room.

Patrolled Joyride:
This type of Joyride is the one which has cops patrolling the streets, racers being chased, and civilians following the speed limits. Patrolled Joyride was also known as “cops and cruise”. (If you would like to read more about the police department that patrols the streets, please read the GTPD section.)

Crew Joyride: A Crew Joyride is a group cruise, usually with a theme. Themes are a type of car that can be used in the session. (ex: FF only, JDM cars only, etc.) Everyone must drive together. Crew Joyrides are sometimes accommodated with Car Shows. If you do not have a car that does not fall into the chosen theme, you must sit out.

Room Settings
Before creating a lobby, please make sure you know what to adjust the settings to.
Before changing any settings:
1. Go to the Community section of GT6.
2. Find the club and go to "Club Lobby".
3. Click on "Create Room".
View attachment 396834

Set the race mode to Practice/Race (NEVER SET IT TO FREE RUN) and either Club Only or Public for room privacy. Do not use Friends Only. Club only should be selected when hosting car shows, special events, or the occasional members only cruise. Public should be used most of the time.

Replace "_ _ _" with the type of Joyride.
Number of participants and Race Quality are up to the host.

RIGHT: Real Joyride (The HP can be adjusted to the host's preference. Tires must be kept to Sports Hard.)

Want to help keep the public streets safe? Join the Gran Turismo Police Department, today! We have quite the selection of cars ranging from high-powered supercars to everyday cruisers. If you do go on duty, we ask the following of you:

  • Please try to set a good example (follow all speed limits, be respectful to other civilians on the road, etc.)
  • We ask that you report all fines or other information on the police database (PSN Chat) so that they are easily available for reference if needed.
  • Respond to calls if you can. Help other officers out. They cannot do everything alone. Speeders will most likely out number the police.
  • Attend GTPD training sessions when you can. Officers need to be on the top of their game.
Fines
For a long time, the Gran Turismo Police Department has used the ticket system as a mean of consequencing offenders. The ticket system has now been replaced with a newer method called the “fine system”. Offenders are given fines to pay (virtually) for each infraction they commit. The fine limit is set up to $500 for each car of the offender. Once the $500 limit is reached or exceeded, the racer must get out of their current vehicle and pick something else that complies with the regulations.

Electronic fines (E-Fines) are given out by a police officer in the helicopter (replay camera). (Only one person may be in the helicopter at a time.) No officer has to be present on ground to give out fines. All offenders must be given at least one warning before a fine is given out. E-Fines can only be given out for speeding, all other fines must be given out by an officer on the ground. Electronic fines can only be used on long tracks like Sierra, Special Stage Route 7, etc. All rules that apply to regular fines apply to E-Fines.
  • $50 - Speeding and other minor infractions (illegal parking, excessive revving/honking, etc)
  • $100 - Initiate pursuit (suspect doesn't pullover in the first few seconds)
  • $100 - Dangerous/reckless driving
  • $150 - Hit and run (hitting a civilian)
  • $200 - Damaging police car(s)
Example: Racer A gets into a pursuit with a cop. The cop has successfully caught them. Racer A started the chase, was speeding and drove dangerously. The fines are added up: $50+$100+$100=$250. So now, Racer A has $250/$500 on his car.

The fines after each pursuit add up on the car the violator is driving. All fines handed out by officers are reset to $0 when the track is changed.

Radio
There will usually be a GTPD PSN chat room open during the time of the lobby if it's a Patrolled Joyride. If you would like to go on duty, tell everyone in the lobby chat you’re going on duty and request an invite to the police chat. Creating a GTPD chat room lets you record fines and other important information into the police database for reference. This will also help you to be aware of what's going on with other officers, and they can contact you if they need help.

Cars
To go along with the new changes in the GTPD, the color scheme has been changed to allow more notable police presence. The new color scheme is a white body, blue wheels, and your unit number (if you can put one). Members who haven’t applied to the GTPD or haven’t been accepted cannot put a unit number on their vehicles.

Even more details about the Gran Turismo Police Department can be found on the website.

If you are interested in joining the GTPD, copy/paste the application below in the spoiler, fill it out, and post it on the thread. (THIS IS NOT A CLUB MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION. READ THE ‘MEMBERS’ SECTION TO LEARN HOW TO SIGN UP.)
Please check and make sure there is an open slot on the GTPD before signing up!
Have you ever served on the GTPD before?:
What is the system in place of the ticket system called?:
What would you like your unit number to be?:
Do you plan on joining training sessions when they are held?:
Anything else you would like to share?:
(We have the right to deny any applications for any circumstance.)

In Chase mode, a group of police officers are required to take down a certain number of racers in an allotted amount of laps. Being an active GTPD member is not required to play as a cop. A 5-10 minute intermission time will be given so officers can create a plan on how to bust the convicts. Officers are allowed to use any tactic or method they like except when handicaps are set for that round. A handicap restricts what methods of takedown are prohibited.

Police Handicaps
Handicaps are applied to chases to spice things up. They can be used together or not be used at all, it’s the host’s choice.
- No roadblocks.
- 1 car only roadblock.
- No brake-checking.
- No PIT maneuver.
- No helicopter.
- No SUVs or trucks.
- Trucks or SUVs only.

Requirements
Cops: White car. You do not need the blue wheels and number.
Racers: Something not white.
Cops-to-racer ratio: 3:1
For every three cops, there is one racer. For example, when there are 6 cops, there should only be two racers. 9 cops, three racers. 12 cops, 4 racers etc.

Objectives
Cops: Catch all racers before they complete the number of laps required.
Racers: Don't get busted before they complete the number of laps required.

Room Settings and Info
Same as other Joyride modes except the amount of laps for that specific track. When the room is in practice mode, that is the time for cops to discuss their plan in a PSN chat. 5-10 minutes later, the host may start the race. Once the race begins, the racers must remain at the start line until the cops are ready. After that, the battle begins.

Car shows (also known as “Cars and Coffee”) are where you can show off your latest ride amongst the online community of GTPlanet. These lobbies typically take place in either the morning (Cars and Coffee) or at night, and are usually accompanied by a Crew Joyride. Park next to other drivers and check out other drivers’ rides.

To spice things up, themed car shows will be held once in a while. (Similar to Crew Joyride.) The theme of the show will be posted beforehand on the thread. A “Best of Show” award will be given to the person with the best car which is voted on by participants in the room. All you have to do is send a PSN message to the host of the show with the name of the owner’s car in the subject line. (You cannot vote for yourself!)

With the release of Circuito De La Sierra, many opportunities for cruising have come up. The track is about 17 miles long with various types of scenery. It has everything a cruiser could ever dream of! Since the track is unique compared to the other tracks already in GT6, it needs its own mode. The following are the rules and abilities of what we can do on this track.

Section Signs are used to identify your location on the track. These are very helpful since the track is very large. Be sure to know where you are just in case something happens. If for example, you are trying to organize a meet-up, you can tell the guests the location by saying what sign you are closest to.

Tip: There are over 40 signs throughout the track.

Rest areas are a place where you can just park your car and watch the world. There are 5 parking spaces at each location and are located off the main road.
There are some places on track where you cannot park. One of these places are the white and red rumble strips. The rumble strips are usually located on turns. The reason why parking is not allowed here is because of blind corners. If a car is turning and doesn’t see you parked, an accident will most likely happen.

Parking is allowed off the street without rumble strips and on turns with red and white barriers. Parking and doing U-turns on bridges is prohibited.

General Rules
  • Please treat all members and nonmembers with respect.
  • If you don’t have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself.
  • Please try to stay moderately active. Let us know if you're going inactive; otherwise, you will most likely be removed from the club if you haven't joined a lobby within 2 weeks.
Thread Rules
  • Follow the GTPlanet AUP.
  • A series of off-topic or unrelated posts may result in getting your membership revoked.
  • No name-calling on the thread. If you have any issues with a certain member, start a Conversation with @Beav or @Ameer67.
  • Do not post tons of photos on the thread. If you have quite a bit, add a link to your gallery or post them somewhere else.
  • Please do not constantly beg for lobbies. People have lives outside of GTPlanet. Members will make a lobby when they can.
GT6 Community Club Rules
  • Use decent grammar in forums and comment sections.
  • Do not spam them with off-topic posts. (They will be deleted anyways.)
  • If you have any issues with anyone start a Conversation with @Beav or @Ameer67. The forums are not the place to talk about member issues.
  • Follow SCEA's policies.
In-game Rules
  • Drive like you would in real life. (As in, don’t ram other cars unless you are a cop.)
  • Don’t be a nuisance by revving or honking continuously.
  • Only street legal cars with or without modifications are allowed. (No racecars, no Racing Exhaust, etc.)
  • No Vision GT cars are allowed.
  • Look around when you're changing lanes, making a U-turn, etc.
  • If you see or hear a cop coming up behind you and you are a civilian, move out of the way!
  • Civilians may report offenders even if there are no cops nearby. (Please don’t make false accusations.)
  • You are not permitted to drive a supercar (458 Italia, Aventador, Veyron, etc.) at any time, unless you are a member.
  • If you are a racer, please know that cops are HUMANS. They are not AI from a Need For Speed game. Don’t keep hitting cop cars.
  • Once you go 10 MPH or below as a racer during a pursuit, the chase is over. Don’t lie and keep running.
  • Going in the pits during a chase results in an insta-kick, no matter if they are a member or nonmember.
  • Roleplaying in lobbies is permitted, but please don't go overboard.

If you fail to comply with the rules, you may be banned from the thread or lobbies at our discretion.

All members have the same rights as each other; there are no moderators, special people, or any other title. (There are two people in charge of the crew of course, @Beav and @Ameer67.) Everyone can choose to have their voice heard in making decisions. Being a member of the club also has its advantages: being able to use supercars and a guaranteed lobby space (if there are any non-members, of course.)

Click the spoiler below to access the members list.

Official rooms are to be created only by members of the crew. Unofficial room numbers should not be posted on the thread. Prior to making a lobby, it is recommended to ask for interested people. You can do this by creating a post with details of the lobby you plan to create and put the minimum number of likes required for the lobby to be made. (The minimum number of likes is up to the host.)

Since this club is ran off of GTPlanet, an active GTP account is required to be a member of this club. Anyone who is banned from the website will have their membership taken away.
To join the Joyride Crew, all you have to do is fill out the application and start a new Conversation (private message) with @Ameer67 or @Beav.
1. PSN ID:
2. Age:
3. First name (optional):
4. Time zone:
5. What is the fine for speeding?:
6. Do you drive a car in real life?:
7. Are you interested in being a cop, racer, and/or a civilian?:
8. Have you been in any other cruise club(s)?:
9. How often do you plan on joining lobbies?:
10. How did you end up on this thread?:
11. Anything else you would like to share?:
(We have the right to deny any applications for any circumstance.)

We hope you have fun in the Joyride Crew. If not, let us know what we can do to change that. Feel free to express your opinion, respectfully of course. Your voice counts. The members keep the club going, so just keep that in mind. Hope to see you in the next lobby!

You'll need to apply to the club first before you can join the GTPD.

I just left the room. It was going good. Had to kick 3 people (disappointingly, one was a club member.)
I apologize for the chaos that occurred. My friend wanted to drive a car (The VW New Beetle) on the game and I let him. (He unfortunately couldn't drive stick properly on the game because of pedal positions.) It will not happen again.

First of all, someone couldn't join because of "different connection" then when we opened a new room and changed to london, it was fine at first until later when I couldn't see anyone except couple few guys so I had to clean the cache and re join the room.

And now when we changed to eiger short, I got disconnected and now I try to join in once again but an error says failed to join appears.

1. (We already know that) PD peer 2 peer servers is totally broken and thats sucks.
2. Never host a room with a broken servers.
3. Always clean the cache or else **** stuff will happen.

And the smaller the track, the less lag.

He also send me a message after kicking him (the one I kicked at tokyo r246) saying "I guess I cannot become a member of this clan then : ("

Clan?? Really???:lol::lol::lol:

Also gald everyone enjoyed it  so does that means my "hosting" (actually it was ameer67 who hosted most of the time) was great?

Your time hosting wasn't bad, it was just PD plaguing rooms like always.

If you do, I can't host. I've switched internet providers, so you probably can guess how that's going. It's inconsistent as hell.
I'm about to open a lobby on Daggers Group so i don't think i'll be able to join
