The Lancia and lambo are both amazing but they also resemble greasshoppers. A little more than most cars at least lolThis is Bertone ...... not this ugly grasshopper..

Actually, there were 2 manufacturers who pulled out of the VGT program: Bertone and Alfa Romeo.
But anyway, it's great to see the original designer still has the project in his mind. The VGT program is dragging on longer and longer, so it's not impossible to think that in the future if conditions change we *might* still see it in the game. Be it GT7/8 or even further than that.
I prefer the original design though. Much more feasible as a car:
Whether or not it would be officially under the Bertone name, this VGT doesn't deserve to go to waste. It's clear at least one person gives a damn about the car whether Bertone exists or not.Very striking design and lots of dedication. Everybody who is saying that they’d rather have a Miura in the game than this “grasshopper” needs to keep in mind that the Miura, Countach Stratos etc. and other cars all looked a bit odd compared to other cars of their period.
I would love to somehow try and push for this car to be included in the game. Even if it’s under a different badging. We have all the normal cars in the world. Bertone never was okay with being normal. Maybe that’s why they aren’t still around. But I don’t see how it would hurt to justify all the hard work.
And you don’t have to. There’s hundreds of normal cars in the game. For any VGT event, there’s some VGT cars that are much closer to reality that you can drive. To be honest... this would just be another useless car in GT. Actually, I think most of the VGT and other concept cars even ruin GR.1 and Gr. 3 in a way of having fictional races with fictional car specs. This may work in an arcade racer, but kind of disables the simulation aspect of a "racing simulator" (...with an FIA sanctioned Sport mode).
I'd prefer PD invests time and money in real world cars - because that's what I want to drive. I don't want to drive what could be but will likely never be.
Which is why I say 'most VGT' cars. There is some of them with real world counter parts... but still: they are and will always be 'concept cars'... no production cars, nor real race cars. And you don’t have to. There’s hundreds of normal cars in the game. For any VGT event, there’s some VGT cars that are much closer to reality that you can drive.
As for “likely never will be”, well, why don’t you have a look at what Audi did with theirs. Or Bugatti. Now these aren’t as radical as the Bertone or Chapparral, but like I said, you don’t have to drive them.
Let the rest of us have some fun.
Well I suppose we've had fan cars, now we can have Best Fan cars.Lewis Hamilton car
...That's a trike...Sort of.
Actually, the original design featured 3 wheels in the back:Nope. There’s two wheels up front, like the DeltaWing, although they are much closer together.
This isn't Gran Turismo 6.And you don’t have to. There’s hundreds of normal cars in the game
Youre right! It’s GT Sport! Where you have even more up-to-date cars than ever, and free of all the concept cars that were with us since the GT3 days! This isn't Gran Turismo 6.
Gr. 4 too, to a much lesser degree (the Citroen GT is in there). To be honest... this would just be another useless car in GT. Actually, I think most of the VGT and other concept cars even ruin GR.1 and Gr. 3 in a way of having fictional races with fictional car specs.

The updated one removed the 3rd wheel from the back.

The one pointing to the right.Which end is the front????
What a comment. They needn't have bothered. Who wants a trike with a single wheel at the front? Spiritual successor of the reliant robin.
Looks like it was designed by a 18 year old who likes daft punk a bit too much.
Maybe crap like that is why they went bankrupt
What a comment.
The most important part of the car list is free of the most radical VGTs. What I mean is N100-1000, Gr. 4, Gr. 3, Gr. 2, Gr. B, and Gr. 1."Just don't use the Vision GT cars" is even more tenuous of a rebuttal in the game where they make up a fifth of the car list.

Forza has whiners about too many SUVs and GT has whiners about VGTs.Why are so many people complaining about concepts and VGTs when Gran Turismo has ALWAYS been about fictional race cars in the first place. GT1 had them. GT2 had them. GT3-4-5-6 had them. For crying out loud there was even a GT Concept game for each region
— I don’t see people complain about the Pod Race in GT Concept 2002 Tokyo-Geneva. That was a fun race and I’m sure most people here would agree.
If you dislike the VGTs then don’t drive them. It’s as easy as that. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve actually competed in a VGT. I don’t dislike them but I prefer to race proper cars. And I can honestly say I’ve barely noticed the VGTs in my garage.
I don’t spend time crying about cars I don’t want to drive, I spend my time actually playing and enjoying the game with the cars I like, and ignore what I don’t care much for.
