Besides GTPlanet, what other forums do you visit?

gogatrs
It's all right here!
I've no need to go anywhere else!

+1
GTP is a fantastic community. You can talk about anything from ponies to tire pressures or food to Ferraris. It is well controlled and maintained, and the AUP agreement filters out the idiots (mostly).
I don't really need to go anywhere else.

the ones i most frequently visit are
bimmerpost.com
pr-automotiveclub.com
sneakyracing.com
I think that's aboyt it for the frequently visited ones
I sometimes visit 6speedonline.com or pelicanparts.com

Only 2 that I go on everyday....

Toronto Maxima Club

XDA Developers

They give me my fix for the day. If anyone else has a Nissan Maxima (or similar) that lives in the GTA, you should check that club out. People are always selling/trading parts. I get almost all of my parts from there. They also schedule meets.

I use XDA Developers mainly to contribute to Android porting to various devices, mainly HTC handsets.

My forum, SCF Forums. http://redskinsfans.webs.com I have to thank the GTPers that have supported and joined, I could use some more as well. Featuring a sports section as well as an off-topic section, SCF Forums has a nice, friendly atmosphere.

I go on Bike Radar about once a day but I rarely post, I think my post count is about 2 from the last 6 months there. I mainly read the boards and check out the news.

If anyone else uses it then you'll know that I'm Shem there, too.

I visit the My Les Paul forum. A guitar forum. Also has a good off topic section and so many users, that you're never struggling for a conversation. I also visit the Gibson forum, but I'm getting fed up with that as there's a kid on there who hijacks everyone's threads, insults people and posts about his obsession with hoarding old tv's. Can't believe he's not been banned. He's started flame wars that have seen a few long time members perma banned, but the mods seem to let him off as he's only 13. One user posted a really touching thread about how he can no longer play the guitar after over 50 years of picking due to arthritis, and this kid comes in and says "Cool, can I have your 1961 stratocaster?".

When someone pointed out to him how insensitive he had been, he said "But I always wanted a vintage strat"... There's another forum I visit every now and then for expatriates. Just go on there every now and then for advice about Visas. Started using it before I went to Canada and still check every now and then, but I wouldn't stick around there as a few of the moderators (yes, the moderators) are bigots.

I hate ex-pat sites. There's a few in Chingqing that my colleagues go on for a laugh. There aren't many foreigners in this city so everyone on there knows each other and the thing they all have in common is that I've insulted or got into a drunken fight with them all at one point.

I hate ex-pat sites.

Me too. I was involved in a debate about Scottish independence on one, when one of the moderators without reading my posts, assumed that I supported it. I pointed out to him that I didn't, then he told me I wasn't entitled to an opinion on the matter as I was leaving the UK. I then pointed out to him that this was an expat site where expats in Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand and various other countries were debating the proposed Scottish independence bill. I'm not really sure why he thought I was entitled to an opinion.

Still, the website had great information when I applied for my Canadian visa, and I found some great info to help with my Japanese spousal visa (which I should hopefully be getting today). I'm sure it will be handy when we are applying to move to Canada.

I visit YouTube and Facebook. Other than that I frequent between WRC.com, F1.com, MotoGP.com, TopGear.com, IGN.com and Battlelog.

I visit Thirgen.org for the third generation camaros and firebirds. Mainly I look at classifieds and pics as I hope on getting one soon.

I feel a GTP ex-pat thread coming on!

Not many of us here though are there? I thought of doing a thread similar to your Thailand one when I got here, but it's been two and a half months already.

I'm a lurker on the Wrexham FC message board, but as with most football forums, the standard of the posts is embarrassing and I haven't signed up. Aside from any genuine football talk, it's mainly mudslinging and racism with whichever Chester wums sign up. There's a horrible culture surrouding the supporting of football which I am ashamed of.
