Ahahahah.....sorry, had to pick on you...
I always laugh when I see someone say "hands down." I am a smartass, so it cracks me up. I mean....as apposed to "hands up???" LOL.

*This is Definatly :spam:

f1's are the best cars, but there really not fun. Your garenteed 1st if you use an f1 car in any race except the last race..

I like the Nissan R390, 787b, and toyota gt1 race car

That's just SAD!!! You just go and ruin your GT3 experience but don't go spread those stupid ideas here! No offence though.

Hmm, give the GT40 a spin on a few races. Amatuer should be alright for you, but Professional is a challenge in that car. At least some races it is anyway....

Yes, the R390, 787B, and the GT-One are 3 good races cars. But that still makes it too easy sometimes. Get one of those Skyline Race Cars...

:banghead: I ment regular cars, cuz I only have a A licence and on Amteuer mode my best car is LOTUS Espirt Sport 300, 260MPH, and I can't win them all with it or my Viper.

The top 3 other than the F1's are in this order....

#1 - Nissan R390 GT1 LM Race Car
#2 - Toyota GT-ONE Race Car
#3 - Mazda 787B

Here's some figures for ya....

Complex String:

R390 - 3'22'980
GT-ONE - 3'25'007
787B - 3'29'482

If you are broke, starting out, and want a car that handles in such a way that it does everythign you want it to, get the DAMN NSX TYPE R. Tune it up, all the way, but dont put any turbos in it. And put the highes N/A tune up it. OHHHHHHHHH MY GOD, i love that car, i love it, love it, love it. It is underpowerd but soooooooooooo mcuh fun to drive because it handles soooooo good. Dont forget the supersoft tires, hehehhe, i think thats the trick. Also the zz II is bad.

Jaguar: I think both the Lotus Espirit and Viper are very capable cars. You might just need to work on getting better at finding the best lines around the tracks and, maybe, do some more setting up. Of course, I haven't seen you race; I just think that may be it from what you've said. But that's probably the best part of the game; getting better at finding the best lines.

Anyway, I have several favorites. A few are the NSXs in pretty much all forms, Imprezzas (esp. for the rally races), S2000s, Griffith 500, GT40, heck, even the Miatas. I could go on. I tend to go for the really superb handling cars, though, than, say, the Vipers. But that's just me. (Not that the Viper's exactly a poor handling car--nearly all the game's cars are great--they just have different strengths).

As for which events, I usually stick with something in the class the AI's using (or below). Like in the American championships, I'll usually go ahead and use an American car, even though you don't have to. But I'm at the point where I'm trying out different cars and improving times, rather than getting through the game.

The Griffith 500 is a little tail happy for me. It rides loose through just about every corner of every track. I had to lower it all the way down just so I could manage the car's backend. I won though :cheeburga

Ah - a fellow NSX fan. Those things are so sweet in GT3.

Andy: I'm pretty sure the British GT races are open to any car. There are several series like this, such as the American, All Japan and German Touring car championships. The AI will only use cars from those countries, but you can use about anything. I just like to try to compete with similar cars a lot of the time.

vat mand and Xtreme: Yup, I have two NSX Type R's. One I bought and used in a LOT of races and have it modified. I also won a black Type R, left it pretty much unmodified (except for a racing trans and tires, I think), and used it in the Polyphany Cup (with the racing trans out of course) and some other races. I also have a Type Zero NSX, an Acura version of the car, and all three race versions. I love 'em, too.

You cannot turbo tune it anyways... And yes, it is a real handler !!

Man you should have had a Poll in this thread, then we would be able to seen who is the Daddy of Super Cars. :fro:

Personally I can't resist the grip of Polyphony 001. I know some people are critical as it is a Formula 1 car and not a Super Car as such.

So for super cars :toyota: GT1 and :mazda: 7B7B Rule....

Later.....:007:

I think you've got to go a long way to beat the fun, handling and sound of a stock :aston: Vanquish.
