HazGTthe car with the most hp is the GTO. it has 930hp if i can remeber correctly.
but sadly we only saw the GTO in GT1, now we get this 3000GT peice of crap
JKooksThe FTO LM was a very worthy car, yet it saddens me to see that no one has acknowledged the Cerbera LM: ample power, handles like it's on rails - a true classic. I could run race after race without even touching the brakes - that car almost drove itself.
It's perplexing as to why this one was omitted from GT3 - the Cerbera Speed 12 is close (after much tweaking) but no cigar.
yeah yeah what he said!!!!Conceptjust like zero said. The FTO LM is the best all around car in GT1!!!!
mathertoI thought that the Cerbera LM was way too skittish, It would bounce on the way into corners and then spin on the way out. Unless of course, you set yours up perfectly, I usually leave my cars with their stock set-ups
It might be your fav but deffineately Not the Best! The yellow or Purple Concept Car will beat it hands down on 99% of GT-1 Tracks! The GT0 is only Successfule on the Test Track!!!CARLOVER96GTO LM Is My Fav Car And Its Also The Best Car. BELIVE ME!!!!
SportWagonYou should try a couple of other Skylines (GT-R'89 as lightest, but also the new Vspec with more and better power) and the new Supra RZ. The Supra RZ does well in maximum speed competitions. Turbo lag on the Skylines is worse than on the GTO's, however.
Uncle HarryWe need to clarify between 2 things.
1. Fastest lap time around a track.
2. Fastest in top speed.
For 1 the LM cars are best.
For 2 the Race Modded Skylines, Supras and GT0's are best as you have 1000+ HP.
Exception to 1 is at the High Speed Ring and Test Track.
SagarisGTBI tried a R32 Skyline. Don't remember which one but it had a calsonic blue paintjob (like most can get) with white rims. It wasnt as fast as an R33 and handled much worse. I didnt even set an official time at SSR5 with it as It was really slow at Trial Mountain, not even close to times set by my other tuned cars and LMs.
The Supra RZ set a time about a sec slower than an FTO LM or RX7 LM. Its really fast but overpowered and being rearwheel drive made it hell to drive. I bet someone with more skill could set a fast time (not as fast as a cerbera or GTO though). The 4WD GTO and Skyline can put full power down exiting corners but with the Supra id just spin out.
Two things wrong with what you said.
Firstly, no cars in the game have 1000+ hp, the GTO, R32, R33 and Supra have over 900 but not 1000.
Second, A fully tuned GTO or Skyline isnt useless on a real track, their handling may not be that of an LM but they make up for it with crazy fast acceleration in between 100 and 200 mph. As long as you dont let the revs get to low, you can achieve lap times as fast as any LM on most tracks.
SportWagonBased mainly on the Grand Valley 300...
- Fully-tuned race-mod GTO'95MR is faster than the GTO LM.
- Fully-tuned race-mod Supra'95RZ is faster than the Castrol Supra GT. (new Supra RZ should be slightly faster still).
- Fully-tuned race-mod R32GTR'89 is faster than the Nismo GT-R LM
- Fully-tuned race-mod Impreza'94WG is very comparable to the Impreza Rally Ed
- Almost anything is faster than the Chaser LM
The Cerbera LM and the RX-7 LM are very good. The Concept Car with aero is ridiculously excellent. All NSX's are hard to drive. Turbo-lag on tuned Imprezas tends to contrast sharply with pleasant characteristics of Rally Ed. The Silvia LM is easy to drive, and pretty fast, but not stupendously so. I never found the FTO LM or del Sol LM to be as outstandingly excellent as some people suggest, but I never really used them much, either.
