Mogwai- I know who you are but what am I
Mogwai- Summer ( Priority Version)
Red Sparrows - The Freeway

This is the direction I would sway. I think the traditional "driving songs" are so aptly name based on the way they make the driver put the hammer down. I much prefer not to be led to aggression through music. I would take all of Come On Die Young and Happy Songs For Happy People. Maybe a bit of Electric Wizard and Sebadoh to mix things up.

I do not recommend these choices to anyone skimming this thread for ideas. They are not indicative of fast driving.

I could of put the YT links but it helps me, I focus more on the road than what is playing inside. If you wanted to put pedal to the medal,

Why Don't We Do It In The Road-The Beatles
Why not do it in the road?

Get Into It-Gran Turismo 2 Japanese OST
There's just something so great about this song. It just gives a sense of speed.

Others to come.

3 pages and no one has said Radar Love?!?

i'm sorry, but if you hear this song, in your car, and you don't hit the gas, there is a good chance that you're dead.
Radar love simply is the greatest driving song.

The Chain is a close second. it's subconsciously imprinted into my brain from when i watched F1 as a child.

If your driving for a long time, may I suggest Pink Floyd. In GT4/5 listening to The Wall during an endurance race at the Nurburgring is a tradition of mine. It's just so relaxing, it makes me focus on the music almost enough that I forget that I'm driving, but not so much that I actually crash. It's not my favourite Pink Floyd album, but it's just magical at the Nurburgring.

As for Dark Side of the Moon and driving the Nurburgring in reverse, I might just test that tomorow :)

Acoustic slow jams... the best. jk

Pounding DnB and House mixes, that way the songs blend together and there a fewer build ups.

Only time i listen to music is when im offline. I dont online because it does get annying hearing someones mic activate every second blaring staticy/distorted music.
