Best Gr.3 Car ?

Turn TC off and you'll stop thinking it's boring.
The RSR is good because it's stock tuning is very stable, and the gearbox is very good, personally it bothers me when I try and drive some of the other gr.3 cars and they're incredibly unstable because tuning is locked. They're hard enough to handle as it is, I don't need my car fighting against me.

I have. I can get around Nurburgring 24H with TC off without binning it (which is hard enough as is)

I'm sorry, understeer in the same sentence as the Lancer Evo? You're talking about the same Gr3 Lancer Evo?

I am. either you haven't push this car to it's absolute limits, or you've avoided tracks this car is weak on.

On tracks like Interlagos and Alsece, the Lancer Gr3 is one of my best cars because I can fly around corners at a higher speed than most cars sans some MR cars. It oversteers more than most other FR's, only other cars like that are the Gr4 86 and Gr3 WRX.

Jaaag is really good too, I've tested that car little bit tonight and did like 6:24 on Nordschleife with "realistic" lobby setup on rss tyres

My favorite is the FT-1. Modest stats, but competitive just about everywhere, especially when tuned.

I'd say the Viper worked best for me, the car in bop or normal form seems to have great straight line and I was surprised to find it feels very stable on corners. I expected the worst and was surprised it was so good.

What didnt feel good? The M6. Dont know why but it feels bad, man. The handling is a bit twitchy for a car that shouldnt be and the motor didnt feel that powerful given its it turbo 4.4 v8.

No love for the Renault RS01 Gr.3? I've just discovered it, and it's fun! It's practically a mid-engined GT-R, styled by a Japanese Nissan designer. Almost zero understeer, decent gearing, great engine note and styling. In VR, the cockpit visibility is great. I've almost never run into another RS01 in Sport Mode. Underrated AF!

Hard to choose. The Aston served me well. That V12 sounds amazing. It's also been a surprise not seeing many when I use it in Sport Mode. It's pretty quick and economic.

AMG GT and Evo are easy to drive. I love the Evo's seating position. Extremely low like the old ToCA games.

Mustang has that straightline Handling and I too like the Viper. Nice car.

Yeah, the M6 is a weird one. TCS is like an on/off switch. Other cars allow smooth acceleration. The M6 is like: go, spin the tyres, bog down, go, spin the tyres, bog down, go.

There was a weird issue with RS01 spinning really easily at Suzuka hairpin, so I kind of ignored it for a long time. Not sure if it's any better there after all the updates. I did use it at Brands a few weeks ago during a daily race and it was really nice.

The Jag Gr.3 is definitely underrated. Excellent tire wear, very stable on tracks like Brands, and has good lower-gear acceleration. And it sounds great.

I'm enjoying lots of Gr.3
Aston Martin is seriously fun along with the RC F GT3 (i sometimes go back to it because of my livery, i'm proud of it ha).
I'm starting to have quite fun with the Beetle and 4C, sadly the former has an underwhelming cockpit view but it's still a beetle so it's forgiven :P

I tested a whole bunch of GT3s (10-15) on Kyoto-Yamagiwa and the car I turned the best lap in was the GT-R. I only did a few laps with it and there was certainly quite a bit of potential to go faster, but it's a hard car to drive consistently well. The next fastest was the Viper, within a tenth or two of the GT-R and was a bit easier to drive but not as much untapped potential. Next I think was the Supra which is super easy to drive and I think I pretty well made the most of it. It's a really easy car to drive quickly and on the limit with consistently good times, kind of like the 911 but faster.

After that there was a mix of a bunch of cars around the same range like the 911, FT-1, Mustang, AMG GT, F-Type, Huracan, etc. I'd say the easiest competitive cars to drive are the Supra and 911, with the edge going to the Supra with superior traction and even better handling (even though the 911 handles very well). But in terms of pure speed the GT-R and Viper seemed to be the best, albeit at the cost of being a bit more difficult to wrangle. The Viper is pretty manageable although has some high speed understeer, but the GT-R is quite on edge and understeery and really cannot abuse the curbs without consequences. If you got the skills it's probably the one to go with on that track though.

But yeah, that's just what I found. Might be different for other drivers and other tracks. For example on Monza I found the Mustang to be really good since it's fast in a straight line but not so good at high speed corners. Not as competitive around Kyoto-Yamagiwa but it'll kill a well-handling but no so quick car like the Supra/911 on Monza.

I'm now addicted about new Toyota SUPRA 2018 Gr.3.

I like too much the equilibrium and the great engine power with hi speed permormances.

With Supra in Yamagiwa i had my best performance in Europe region 183 / 61,343 - 0.2983% with a lap time of 1.32.683.

I like too much also Porsche 911 and Lexus RC F 2018 in Gr.3 category.

Complete opinion reversal, but I hate the Beetle. It's overused and annoying. It's overpowered and takes no skill either. Choice of professional divebombers everywhere too.
How does one elevate oneself from the amateur to the professional ranks as a divebomber ?

Through the amounts of people you've taken out through divebombs.
You start off as a B-2 divebomber. Like the name suggests you're a bomber, but you don't really know how to divebomb, so you instead carpet bomb in which you don't know you're taking out people. This is good in a way but you're just bombing inconsiderately, so it's an amateurish rank.

The end goal is being a Stuka. Divebombing with pinpoint precision, knowing who to take out and just how fast you should go in so you don't take out yourself. A stuka divebomber is what I call a professional rank

And a rank that I wouldn't hesitate to kill if I'm not in a Sport mode lobby

They're all pretty good. I started with the Lambo, due to its shocking handling I think I may of been the fastest Lambo driver on the game for a short while! I then switched to the Nissan GT-R which I've stuck with still, it's awkward and barely anyone drives it but I'm a 1 car kinda guy and I love it. Never needed anything more.

I just like the GT-R, it might not be the easiest or best but I like it :) makes a lovely noise.

Whereas I never drive the same car two races in a row.

I have a real soft spot for the RCZ Gr.3. I think mainly because no one else drives it and I feel sorry for it. It only sips at its fuel so it should be good for some mid pack undercuts during pit-stops in sport mode C races (if I ever played sport mode).

GR.3 is my most used category (haven’t used all cars yet) & I can happily say my favourite ones are the M6 and the RCF (Prototype).

Impreza is the one with no understeer. Lancers on the other hand..... Your best bet is to set a high brake bias in Sport mode since no tuning allowed
