Best Gran Turismo Intro?

GT2, starts off slow, than boom! it starts showing clips of different races. (most notably the infamous 24hrs of Le Mans of 1955, they even show the crash) Then it shows GT2 races, and that song! I love that song! it's so fitting to the whole intro, I even got it on my MP3 player for when I race the 'Ring in GT4.

I can't choose between the intros for GT2, GT3 and GT4 (never played GT1). I like them all. But I voted GT2 because I liked that game more than GT3 or GT4.

GT4. The Ford GT , especially with the New York lights reflecting off it at night, blew my mind. It also has the best soundtrack, "Moon Over the Castle" transitioning into "Panama" by Van Halen.

Lenny Kravitzs' guitar screeching, Supra race car, then the GT3 logo flashing on the screen. GT4's intro looked great, but GT3 beats it for me. I'm not going to vote yet, because I can't remember the intro for GT1 or 2.

Manic Street Preachers, The Cardigans, Lenny Kravitz, Van Halen, what can I say, all great bands there. 👍 Cardigans were especially cool for writing a song based on their "addiction" to Gran Turismo. The whole album was great, but they kind of faded away(at least in the States) after that.

My number 1 pick is still the GT3 intro.

The best has to be GT2. I loved watching the intro every single time I loaded it up, well the one disc that had the intro. I wish it was on both discs.

For me:
GT2 > GT3 > GT4 > GT1

Quite agree the PAL GT3 intro with Feeder just fits so well, and I love the video itself with the fuel being pumped into the cylinders and the engine firing up.

Gets my vote (but it is a close run with GT2).

I quite liked GT1's introduction with the Chemical brothers remix of Everything must go from the Manic St Preachers. GT2's intro was very good as well but imo GT3's was a better video but worse music than GT2's, GT4's doesn't do it for me with the track they put on over here. My vote goes to GT1.

I thought GT4 prologue was soo impressive. It actually had me fooled into believing there were going to be realistic looking people on the side lines. However we ended up with cardboard cut outs.
Since prologue is not up there I voted for GT4. I still love watching that Ford GT in the beginning. I always let the intro load. Just looks so amazing while the scenery rotates around it.

I just watched this version for the first time, it is VERY weird. I like Lenny's version a lot better, but considering how much we all played the game, we are probably just used to the regional version of the Intro we got.
