Best Gran Turismo Intro?

Definitely the PAL GT3 opening with Feeder, superb song Just A Day. The movie's not bad either.

I went for GT2...

I have sooo many fond memories and sooo much nostalgia for GT1, that when I first saw the GT2 movie - with even more cars - and even more tracks, I had a sexual experience in my pants... GT3 and 4 where kinda just more of the same.

Just as I note I also quite liked the GT Concept opening movie - the Merc CL with the Boeing 747 in the background.

... and I my god, when I first saw the 'ring in one of the videos on prologue I nearly OD'd on endorphines...

woah, i didnt really remember the intros but i watched the vids and was awestruck. Im not really a big fan of le mans but wat happenned in 1955 that was in the GT2 intro. and in the Gt3 vid where is that first part suposed to be?? it looks like water or somethin like that

I like the GT4 intro the best because I liked the quietness than *boom!* Than cars start racing at mach 4!

For me it has to be GT1. I just remeber watching that as a kid for the first time and being blown away. No GT experince touches the way that game amazed me.

I love GT1's intro the best. It will always be in my mind when I think back to my extremely young days playing PS1 and thinkin cars were all about horsepower.

Gran Turismo 1 is probably my favourite overall... great song used 'Everything must go'... and great momories
2 and 3 are nack and neck, both fantastic!
GT4's intro was quite sad compared to the others (except for the beginning). I guess it was way too short... Only half a song was used :/

I voted GT4; I still watch the intro because it's so nice, the build-up with all the cars in the pit lane, then they all rip out...and boom, the amazing "Panama" starts...I haven't played GT1 so I can't speak for that one. GT2 I no longer own and don't remember the intro too well. GT3 had some nice racing clips and a very fitting song by Lenny Kravitz.

The original Japanese GT4 intro...I'd take Moon Over the Castle over Panama any day...

I haven't played GT1 so I can't speak for that one. GT2 I no longer own and don't remember the intro too well.

The intro of the European PAL GT2 has a remix of 'My favourite game' as its soundtrack. It gives the intro some more speed imho. If you go to page 2 of this this site you can watch it.

In 1955 there was a huge crash involving a Mercedes Benz flipping over a slower car (an MG, I belive) on the home stretch at La Sarthe (this was before the chicanes at the beginning of the stretch existed, so speeds were MUCH faster) the Benz barrel-rolled into the crowd, killing many spectators. And then the fuel tank started leaking in the Benz, which started a fire. The official death toll is 80+, but most people belive it was more in the hundreds.
When the race started again Jaguar went on to win their class in their D-Type. (the same class the Benz was in) But their was no celebrating that year...

This was a tough one for me but I'll have to say GT4 with VanHalen's intro music (always liked that song)

The cranked up home theater system helped as well in making the intro enjoyable.

Yeah. I have a video with that accident. A huge fire and cloud of flames burning off the right of the straight. It even has the voice of the commentator speaking through the whole thing. That crash was amazing.

Gran Turismo 2 most definately. I still think GT2 is the best out of the series. If they were to re-release GT2 with GT4 graphics, it would kick the crap out of GT3 and GT4.
