Best GTR tune ?

I haven't tried either. I know that the stock launch on an Enzo sucks, and it's tricky to get started. I've got a few close friends that drag Enzo's so I get information from them.

Even a tuned Enzo starts bad. The GT-R is the opposite, it goes like hell!

Not if tuned right. My Enzo takes off a little slower than my ACR put pulls like hell and hits 166 at end. Enzo is probably fastest RWD Indy drag car.

I'm really considering picking up another one of these like right now just for this purpose.



EDIT: Took my old one, and tuned it up. First run I managed 163mph, and after a few tweaks I'm peaking at 7.9 seconds @ 167mph at Indy. It really moves. Haven't been able to get any better than that so far though.

No way. Not as heavy as the are and only 800hp. Most other cars of higher magnitude well tuned fail to reach that. I dont't believe it.

Exactly, it starts slower! That's all what I said.

Hmm, have a look at both quotes......
First you say that I'm wrong, because I wrote "goes" and not "starts" and then you stretch the length of the start to a 1/4mile. So what? :confused:
 
Its funny but what I have found is that the higher the trap speed the slower you are....it sounds wrong but thats just what I have found cuz I trap at 151 in my gtr...and Im beating my friends by more than a link who trap higher...just because your enzo starts off slow doesnt mean everyones does...my enzo beats my ACR off the line...and I dont think that the enzo is the fastest Indy drag car....Thank you and have a good day

Are you running gtr vs gtr or gtr vs Enzo, acr, gt etc.

This is true KRAVEN, there have been times at SS7 that my Ford GT No-stipe would bust the tunnel at 247 and a car link ahead of another claiming he hit 249. I guess it is easier to notice on SS7 than Indy.

Well, yeah, my no stripe only does 247mph, but im fast of the line so to say. launch is very important either way.

If not, then I can't see why you've problems to get that fast. Just set the tranny longer......

As I was coming out of the tunnel I hit 254. However, I was passed up by another Enzo which did 283.

Well its true lol its near impossible to even get 254+ with the acceleration that you NEED. If in a enzo, no acceleration= epic fail.👍

It would be impossible even with a pure topspeed tune.
The highest speed I've ever seen was 251mph (tunnel, of course).

Off my current gearbox that I use for SSR7 drag, I can get 403km/h (250mph) in the tunnel, and a 414km/h (257mph) top speed when I do a top speed run from the hairpin.

254mph in the tunnel is indeed impossible.

Nope, you aren't faster than us. We are the fastest tuners in Australia, period and we will prove it. Just find the GME monkeys at SSR7 or Indy, we'll take you guys to school on both tracks.
